An Oasis away from the heat and crowds
We stumbled across The Woods on our way to the Hindu Temple Kuil Sri Subramaniam at Gajah Berang, Melaka.
This special cafe is a refreshing sight for sore eyes after walking passed many rows of shop houses in the old town area. It is a lovely artsy second hand book store and cafe, with a beautiful laid back vibe and friendly staff - I can feel they put the heart into the place.
They serve good hand brew and drip coffee, with a menu of a tasty bites. Great place to spend an hour or two or more, to relax and wind down over a cup of coffee with a book in your hand. The book collections is mainly in Chinese but they also have an interesting selection in English.
Highly recommended for those who wanted something different with a tranquil atmosphere.

Tranquility place to escape from Melaka crowd. But less book to scroll since been calling 2nd hand book cafe.
