For the price we pay, we would expect that (at the very least), there's peace and quiet. On our last night, there was constant noise from both neighbouring rooms. We are not certain what is the cause, but it did not made the experience peaceful.
Also, we were surprised that we had to pay for a restock of coffee. We're happy that you've provided coffee capsules for consumption (that was great). But, there should be other coffee alternatives such as instant coffee for those who like to drink coffee regularly.
Finally, you should have placed a higher priority on parking space for hotel guests. We could not find parking on our 2nd day there, and had to wait a little while for space to be available.

Visited the Spa Village. Great ambience with the lounge by the pool and well-appointed treatment rooms, great services and compenent masseuse but prices are on the high-end for a 3-hour treatment.
Overall a good experience and will visit again if I am in Malacca.

Comfortable and luxury hotel, friendly and professional staff. Colonial building, open bathroom, four poster bed! What more would you ask?
Swimming pool rather small, but manageable.
Definitely will come back again.

The building is rather old but the interior is renovated and good. Small number of staff remember my face and provide heartfelt service. A tiny set of traditional sweets provided in the room every evening. Felt at home. Very impressed.

Comfortable hotel but the air conditioning didn't really work well during my stay and I had to use the fan. It was hot. But I'm sure it works great on normal days

The entire hotel is beautifully & tastefully decorated. You'll feel as if you've taken a step back in colonial times.
Loved everything about the hotel, beautiful decos, central location, comfy beds, great attention to details. Hint: You'll be served with hot teas and traditional snacks!
The only downside is it's swimming pool, which looks more like an oversized bath tub (but I'll be honest, it's pretty).

Beautiful boutique hotel - perfect for your authentic stay in Melaka.
The best thing at this hotel is the food in the mansion. DO NOT miss dinner at this hotel.
The rooms are good, the bathroom arrangement is a little odd as there are no walls, but simply sliding doors to divide the bathroom and your room. The room itself is good, but very echoey and also you can hear what is going on in the room next door.
Location is great and within walking distance of some good bits of town.

Unbeatable! Interesting concept, clean room, exceptional service. There is ample parking space at the back of the hotel and your vehicle will be well taken care of by the staff. Pool is tiny and is right in front of the gym - awkward. Otherwise, no complaints! We enjoyed our stay here. It is possible to walk to the river where the bars are, and a little further down you will reach Jonker.

Charming small old style hotel. Beautiful bathroom. Breakfast could be bigger and better. But all in all very satisfied.

Lovely heritage building with modern block behind. Comfortable rooms, extremely friendly service. Only negative notes are the rather boring breakfast and the one album of classic rock covers on endless replay in the lobby and restaurant.

Oh, we juz luv it. The heritage architecture designed, the hotel is clean with comfortable bed, good breakfast, cozy reading corner. We really like the open plan concept with wooden sliding doors between the bathroom and the sleeping area. Our kidz just can't get enough with the swimming pool. 15min walk to Jonker Stree & we come back with night river cruise. Highly recommend.

Very thoughtful staff whom prepared my wife's birthday cake. Room is clean and has a nice claw feet bath tub. Bed is huge and comfy, has all the necessary amenities. Has nice coffee shop (Mei Sin) nearby serving really good local food for breakfast.

Elegant colonial building that kind of reminds me of the last marigold hotel,new accommodation building to rear of original fits in well with this high class hotel.

Very good service. Definitely posh. A great place to visit, if you can afford it. The Kristang cuisine served in the dining room is really good, and at night they have classy live music to entertain.

Like other YTL hotels, it has class. Friendly frontdesk staff. Overall very nice ambience everywhere. However, the soundproofing between the rooms is very bad as I could hear next door talking clearly and tap water running sound too !

Good location good service. The bed is perfect. Breakfast lacks variety but service makes up for it. The main food streets are a short walk away. That said a bit pricey for quality.

The hotel is very unique, it took over an old building and rebuild it into a classic hotel.The hotel staffs are very professional, check in / out is fast able to speak in good English.
The room is clean and dust free, bed is firm and comfortable that gave me good rest.Public area is very clean, even the floor is very shining.
I enjoy the breakfast very much, the selection is about 30-40 items but all are great quality food. I'd suggest to order the Majestic Omelette, waffle and the nasi lemak ( Coconut milk rice ), The Nasi Lemak is really tasty and smell good! the chili paste is hot and delicious.
I had a massage treatment before I check out, have a free hair treatment on the period, amazing set-up to have TV on ceiling to watch the old school Malay movie while having the hair treatment, the Swedish Massage is good, I fell in sleep immediately till the therapist woke me up to turn my body.
I really suggest this hotel for whom want a great quality stay in Melaka.

The peranakan food here is awesome. It's not truly peranakan but their take on it is very good. Especially try the assam ikan and chicken ponteh. No sambal kangkong here though.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms and the clean styling of them. Everything I could need and no extraneous fluffery. The bathroom in the room arrangement is neat, would be great to be able to chat or share a glass of something whilst you're in the bath. The shower was huge as well. Really liked the ceiling fan. They even turn down the beds at night.
I've gone from there to a world renowned 5 star in KL and feel really hard done by now.
