Spacious parking space. Clean rooms. Lobby is pleasant. Shopping centre and restaurants can be found within the hotel building.

This is a great Hotel for any kind of stay.
It is located very close to the city center, which allows for quick visits downtown (which is really worth it btw). The service and staff was great.
The room was nice, we asked for the highest available floor, so the view was great as well.
The pool and gym area was fantastic, I wouldve liked to stay longer just to spend more time there!
And finally the price was great, for such a high quality stay I was expecting to pay more, but it really was a great stay and more than worth the little money.

Nice and cosy hotel for business traveler and for family vacation as well. Room is well maintain and overall cleanliness is excellent. This hotel share the same amenities with the adjacent the shore residencies. The pool is a great attraction for the kids especially the slides. Fitness centre is well maintain

Stayed for 3days 2nights..
Location wise.. Good.
Safety wise.. Good.
Balcony.. A bit scary at night. (from 17th floor)
Breakfast (@The Garden Terrace)..
Had a good ambience. Not busy.

The location is excellent with respect to accessibility to the touristic location but still have quieter environment. The huge lobby welcomes you with a unique scent which provides you the necessary freshness especially if you are all sweaty roaming around the hot and humid city.
The rooms are big, nice, clean with either city view of pool view. The bathroom is huge and clean. The fixtures are great! The air con is excellent. A great hotel to stay.
However the buffet breakfast did not provide too many options to choose from, but still the taste was good.
All in all a good hotel to stay in Mallaca.

One of the best hotel here in town just beside the famous Melaka River. Strategic situated with ample parking, shops and places for local food day and night. Brightly lighted with good service. Never doubt that.

The main attraction is the pool.. Kids love the playground in the pool. The infinity pool also good for relaxation.

Great pool. Great location opposite the river. Rooms are alright but had to asked for hairdryer and iron delivered (which I thought should be standard offers in a hotel room). Keycards kept disfunctioning. A couple of staff was not helpful and rude went explaining about the keycards. Meals were average though the curry laksa during lunch was delicious. Not impressed in general for a huge hotel chain.
Chiu-Oan Ngooi (08/08/2017 22:33)
Wonderful pool and mini water park, very close to food options and activities like the Melaka River Cruise. The only reasons this isn't a five star rating were that the keycards to our two rooms deactivated easily and needed to be reissued a few times, and they wanted to charge a half day rate for late check-out beyond a 1 hour grace period.

Very convenient. Free parking. Shopping and restaurant. Not jammed.
Wong Timothy (04/06/2017 01:02)
Good location. Shopping Centre just next to the hotel. River Cruise is a few step away. Room is clean but can be improved on facilities and maintenance. Check in time takes longer than normal. The parking at the building is confusing since the parking lot shares with The Shores Hotel. There are not enough signs to direct the hotel guest to which lift to take directly down to the lobby. The wifi connection is poor. Access is near impossible.

Stayed there over Easter. Hallways, lifts and rooms were smelly. Rooms were dirty, thick dust and grime, had to change a few times to get a cleanish one then had to insist it was cleaned again. Aircon broke down - had workmen in the room with their boots on at 10pm trying to fix it. Stay off baloney especially if you have kids as feel like death traps. Pool felt slimy and grubby, no life guards and areas that had slippery corners and jagged edges if you have kids watch out! Staff although very friendly looked at me like I was overdoing the complaining - not really what you want to hear. Malacca is beautiful and interesting, just don't bother with this hotel.

Everything is ok until you experience long waits for their lift. The worst one was upon check in, their housekeeping was so lazy as they never change bedsheets, quilt cover, pillow case! See photos for blood stain, hair, and crease bed linen. We wrote in to raise this issue but they never replied, hence we make it public here.

A strategic hotel and a well designed one too.
I feel that the reception could be faster. There's once came a bus full of tourist, though every counter is opened, but the waiting is slightly more than 1 hour. It needs to be improved. Otherwise, the ballroom is great. The room is nice too.
Oh and, great swimming pool.

A mixed experience.
The hotel has many positives in its favour - the location and connectivity to a mall are strong features. It also (currently) has free parking. The pool and water play area are sizable and when we were there, the water play area was filled with children enjoying themselves. The decor of the hotel and room is modern and well thought out.
The hotel suffers from maintenance issues. While we only stayed one night (and hence we weren't unduly inconvenienced), some of these issues would be significant for a longer stay. Issues we encountered included:
1) sliding door which separated the bedroom from the rest of the suite was off its hinges and not movable.
2) Wifi signal didn't reach the bedroom
3) Safe didn't work - suspect batteries to be the issue
4) Weighing scale didn't work - battery was missing
5) Side table had 2 phones - the standard hotel phone and a smaller cord-free phone which wasn't even plugged in. Not clear what purpose it was supposed to serve.
6) Part of the bathroom marble base area which the sink rests on was broken. Not just a crack, but a whole slab. This piece was wedged into the broken space at an angle with just gravity holding it in place.

Nice rooms, modern and clean. Check in process was very fast and seamless. Located next to a mall so it is very convenient. There is a great view from the lounge at level 30. Great place to chill with a drink at night.

We booked this hotel mainly our regular hotel was fully booked and for the pool facility for our kids. Firstly for the price we are paying, it does not come with complimentary breakfast. Waiting for lift from the carpark to the rooms is a nightmare (And you need to transfer from another lobby!). Also they are always out of towels at the pool even though we went early. Housekeeping didn't turn up for the 3 days I stayed there until I call to request. The hotel's so call "international" breakfast buffet have limited choice of selection.

1. We had to ask the porter to help us with our luggage after checking in. He had expected us to lug it ourselves to our suite.
2. There was no safe in our suite and several lights did not work. Worse still, we came back in the evening to a pool of water in our suite because water had leaked through the ceiling from the floor above us.
3. We were moved to another suite and we had to carry our luggage ourselves. No porter came to help us.
4. There was a safe in the second suite but it did not lock.
5. The shower head dropped off when the shower was turned on.
6. We called the reception four times for a box of tissues. None came.
7. There were fruits in the suite but no plates or cutlery.
All in all, this was the worst hotel we have stayed in. And we have stayed in many all over the world. The management is very very poor. These people haven't the faintest clue what hospitality and good hotel management means. One star is being very generous.
Kenny Boey (24/12/2016 12:35)
Worst hotel ever. Do not be fooled by its luxury appearance. Staff were rude and inadequately trained to handle customers. They were unable to provide the rooms we had made bookings prior. The manager "disappeared" without solving the issue. Be warned before booking this hotel. You may regret it. If you are skeptical about my post, there are many complaints about this hotel just by googling. Try at your own risk!

We stayed here last year during our short-holiday in Malacca. We liked the spacious rooms, the great location and the friendly staff. Value for money.

I think Swiss garden Melaka is the worst modern hotel that i have stayed so far. Checked-in on 1 July 2016 @ room no. 11010. The moment i stepped in, saw unlocked balcony door, curtain dropped from the rail, hair on bed, someones shoe box on the floor, used glass with noodles in the fridge, used toothbrush and tooth paste at the wash basin, rubbish in dustbin... and i wonder whether i entered someones room or what. Called the maintenance guy to fix the curtain. The moment he entered and opened the shoe, the room got filled with "aroma". Is there anything else in store for me..? Damn Swiss Garden Melaka!!

Good hotel.
But the problem is enterance on mall.
A bit crouded.
Mohd Syukri Abdullah (04/06/2016 00:54)
The room is big enough. Clean and tidy room. Good view from the top of the hotel. Strategic location with the free car park. Other facilities provided for the customer are gym, tennis court, basketball court, fantastic swimming pool for kid. However there are few things must be improve to keep the customer come in.
1. Waiting for check in up to an hour to your turn. Even though the number of customers is less than 10. My previous experience is more than hours for line up at the reception counter. After than, 20 minutes for beautiful receptions girl key in your information to the system and check the available room. I'm really frustrated for this situation.
2. Normally no breakfast included with your booking. You have to purchase about RM40 for adult and RM20 for children.
3. Lift system is very slow and take up to 15 minutes waiting time. In addition, the lift is always full.
4. Staff is not really friendly.

Hotel was nice. Big room. Not as crowded amid school holiday. A lot of amenities. Love the gym. Surrounded by a water theme playground. River view was fantastic. Lacking anything? Definitely we could point out many negatives. I just enjoyed the positives.
Sim Bajaj (04/03/2016 09:22)
Nice hotel. Brand new. Comfortable and in a good location. Parking is really easy. It's attached to a mall and has a lot of amenities nearby. Overall pretty happy with my stay. Front desk can be slow but I wasnt in any rush. I'm guessing not many people from Melaka are.
Melvin Quek (26/12/2015 16:43)
This place lift system is very bad n i think in my personal opinion the worst lift system in malacca. I also have to wait 30 to 45 min to get a lift to go out or come back to my room. I even had to walk down to level 8 carpark from my room at level 22 on the day of my check out with a heavy load of luggage. Unless it improves otherwise i will not waste my money to get frustation on my holiday.
