Best of the budget hotel in Melaka. THE BEST! A rare gem. You can't beat the value for money of this hotel. Worth every cent you spend on this place. Also not far away from Banda Hilir and surrounded by shops. Not tricky to find as it is just located next to main road.
Last time the room rate was inclusive of buffet breakfast, but now it is no more. But still value for money. Confortable bed, enough space for 1 person (if you take up single bed shared bathroom option), got Astro channels some more. Check in and out is a breeze and plenty of parking spaces in front of the hotel. What more can you ask?

One of the best cheap hotels i have ever been in! I rented the single room with shared bathroom and i must say that the shared bathroom is very clean and the ambience of the hotel is very comfortable. Worth the price!

This hotel are good for business trip. Reasonable price and good environment. And this hotel have some rule, they will charge you, if blanket, pillow case, bed sheet and towel found a stain. The highest charging if they smell cigarettes smoke inside the room.

Very clean house with auto gate, washing machine, microwave, fridge, fully air conditoned. When we checked out the staff sent the cleaner to check the room before return the deposit to us. Very strict on the no smoking rule and the house is very well maintained.
Down side is the deposit must be paid in cash.

Clean quiet budget hotel. Water was lukewarm, perhaps too many people using at the same time. Not too far from the city if you have a car.

Saya bersama anak2 terkejut dgn hotel ini yg sgt cantik drp pandangan luar. Apatah lg bila masuk ke dalam. Mmg cantik, wangi dan sofa di ruang tamu sgt selesa....
Bilik walaupon x lah sebesar mane, tp biliknye sgt besar dan unik sbb ada 2 shower dan ada tempat duduk! Katil, bantal, tv, tuala semua sgt memuaskan...
Pekerja pun sgt ramah dan membantu bila ditanye mengenai tempat makan yg berhampiran

Me and my kids are surprised to see this hotel from outside. The interior design is sooo stunning. The ambiance is amazing, fragrance and the sofa are so comfortable
The room fits us just nicely, but the toilet is so big ang unique coz it has 2 showers and a seats! The bed, pillow, tv and towel all are very satisfied
The receptionist is friendly and helpful when i asked of the nearest place to eat
I am definitely gonna come back to Sunflower Hotel!

As budget hotels go, this is the best I've stayed in. Clean and comfortable bed. Bedroom and bathroom of decent size. Complementary bfast is pretty basic but for an add-on of just RM5 you get a meal that should last you till lunchtime. Nice cosy cafe. Strong wifi signal. Overall value for money.

If you are just looking for a place to rest, this hotel is decent. Uber off-peak to enjoy cheap fare (We came back to the hotel at 3am from asam pedas and Uber charged just 7ringgit)
There is plenty of room types to choose, select the suitable one.

I'm frm jb to melaka for celebrating my uncle's birthday,checked in on 06/01 after read some reviews from the net, but when come here sightly disappointed with the breakfast and wifi, the wifi conection is very poor, the breakfast is hopeless, tasteless, the noodle , fried rice have no taste at all, the food is chill, there is no milk, cereal.. Not much variations on breakfast.... The best thing about this hotel is CLEAN , beautiful environment .. Really cosy.. If they improve the food and wifi I sure definitely will recommend my friends and family

In my opinion, one of the best budget hotels in Malacca. It may be quite far from the city center, but not too much a problem if you have your own car.
The rooms are cozy and comfortable. The bathrooms are very clean and very aesthetic (the best maintained bathrooms I have ever seen). Staff are also very helpful and friendly. There's also a cafe owned by the restaurant right next to the hotel so you don't have to worry about looking for a place to eat if you're not in the mood to go out.
Just remember to book in advance if you plan on staying on a weekend since it can get fully booked. All in all, you won't regret staying at this hotel if you come to Malacca.

Clean, spacious and pleasant stay in Sunflower House with WiFi and breakfast served. Recommend for families and groups.
I will come again despite little things happen.
Below are the details:
Check-ins :
We decided to check in earlier, so we reach Sunflower Hotel about 12pm. Unfortunately, receptionist informed us that we only can check in around 2pm.
Thus, we roamed around for tea.
We back around 2pm. Yet the house is not ready.😥
However, the staff treated us politely and inform us cleaning is in progress.
Nice waiting area with a scene of Sunflower.
Getting into the house :
The house were spacious! Clean and comfortable for us. Well equipped with kitchenette with dining table, water kettle, microwave, small fridge and sink.
However TV channels receptors were not strong. WiFi moderate.
Automatic gate with carpark.
Bedroom & Bathroom :
4R3B. Aircond in good condition. Comfortable bedding and fluffy pillows.
However one of us got locked in the bathroom as the lock is faulty and the piping burst! 😨😱😵
We contacted house keeping for rescue.
They arrived right away, and rectify on the spot. 😰 The housekeeper were good and attentive at fixing those,leaving us at ease.😌
Lucky! And we continue to enjoy the stay. The rest were fine.😀😀😀
Breakfast :
Cosy café. Limited selection. But food taste fine.
Thanks for the free upgrade though.

Positive: affordable cafe food, great bed, great room, wifi complicated but still accessible, car park spacious, went the extra mile to reserve a slot for motorcycles.
Negative: No motorcycle lot in front of hotel. Hotel door doesnt have "suction close" so we need to properly close the door. No extra hotel card so your room will be warm when u are away. Lobby full of mosquitoe that doesnt bite.
The negativity are minor stuff but worth mentioning. Ill definitely visit again if I dont travel on bike.

Very pleasant hotel.
Clean and courteous staff.
I've enjoyed the include breakfast.
The missing star in due to their wifi being very weak at moment and the location. Not much whiting walking distance, but them again a taxi to most point of interest will only cost you about 8$.

It was an exciting low cost moments spending my single night here. Every rooms are provided with an aircond and a wide screen tv. I enjoyed my morning bath as the room was also provided with hot water shower and everyone will be able to grab a breakfast at the cafe' next door.anyway, the WiFi service wasn't good as I wished. The speed of the data transmission need to be increased.
