I have a bad experience with this VW authorised Service Center. On Oktober 2012 i bought a new Polo Sedan (CBU unit) with them but now my car got gearbox problem (gear shift from D1 to D5 when i stop for red or in traffic jam). The poor thing is I send my car twice to them from 2 September 2014 until today 18 September 2014 they cant even know what wrong with my car, what is the solution for my car problem and when it will be fix. The story start from 2 September 2014, I call them to inform my car gearbox problem, they answer me that there are too many car to service and make an appointment for my car on another week ( they dont even think this problem will make me crash in an accident if a car behind me which want rush for green light but my car cant move with D5 position) then i write to VW Malaysia to inform this problem. After 3 hours at the same day, i receive a call from them to ask me send my car for inspection. After 2 days inspection they claim that my car already fix and ask me to get my car and they say my car problem is only some socket loosen with my gear sensor. After a day i take my car back, on 5 September the gearbox problem exist again then i call them on 8 September (6 & 7 September off day) and they ask me send my car again to them for a thoroughout checking. But until today they still cant diagnose my car problem and how to solve it. The worst thing is they have no initiative to let me know how my car problem solving progression, every time I have to call them but no use because after the reception answer,she take my phone no. and say that the technician advisor will call me back but I keep waiting from their call and they dont call back. So on 15 September I have to go their Service Center which 50 km distance from my house to get know about my car problem. The service advisor say my car problem maybe because of gearbox failure which will cost RM 36,000 and maybe take 2 to 3 months to replace or maybe because of car wiring problem which may take 2 to 3 days to resolve. 17 September 2014 I call them to get know what cause my car problem either the gearbox failure or wiring problem so i can arrange my transport to work but after the reception answer then no more feedback from them. Today 18 September, I decide to take my car back and send to others service center so i call them to inform my decision. They ask me give them a few days more for checking my car wiring and they will give me a spare car for my use and I accept their offer. What make me so frustrated in this case is although they are very busy with their work but at least they let me know what is my car problem and how long it will take to fix it but they dont. I hope they can improve their responsibility, profesional and expertise in my case. Thanks.
