Set 4.2 km from the Malacca International Trade Centre, this secluded resort is also 1.3 km from the miniature houses at Mini Malaysia & ASEAN Cultural Park and 11 km from Malacca International Airport.
Featuring relaxed decor and neutral colours, the unassuming rooms and suites come with TVs and countryside or pool views. Suites add sitting areas with sofas. Children age 11 and below stay for free.
Amenities include an outdoor pool, a kids' pool with slides, and a Jacuzzi. A fitness centre, a tennis court and a relaxed restaurant are also offered.

Bad experience. Leaking from main pipe outside flooded our room. Kettle also leaking. Complaint to reception but no action.

It's actually a lovely hotel. Room was big and nice. Kids pool has many fun slides and features. Bfast was good.
Downside: The pool water looked cloudy. Slight foul and burning smell from around near the pool area.
Overall: Kids enjoyed the place!

The palace was renamed amverton heritage resort. It was easy to find exit toll drive a Abit more into the main road and you'll see a big sign board. Ample parkings as well. Reception was very modern but the service was a bit slow. Rooms were generally clean but weird that you have to shower inside a slippery bathtub(careful there). Big pool with a just nice height. Fun kids pool with an indoor playground (more work needed there but overall safe). Great place for a family outing with kids budget as well so won't complain to much

This hotel is under going massive renovation. It is very frustrated to stay in a hotel with noise from construction. Room is smelly, bed is broken and bathroom is flooded. It is better for them to close the hotel while under construction. Or at least give a very good discount for those willing to stay. Owh ya, food is not up to par also.

The management of this resort are bad attitude!!!Especially the person that call "Priscilla" n "Zeti" !! Both of them act their role like a Boss! So many people make complains but they said no ppl make complain be4 n said back I'm the one that make complains!! First time that I meet this kind of management!! Trouble!!! Better train all of your management (Include GM) properly first...BAD attitude!!

Water theme park is good.
However, the hotel is currently under renovation, the check in process is quite long.
Air cond control panel hidden behind the curtains, almost miss out with super cool night.

The building is big with a lot of rooms. It's located near Zoo Melaka. The room nice yet it's a bit smelly and the balcony is a bit dirty. Other than that is quite good.
Has wifi and new aircond.

A well established hotel that way passed its' prime time. The room is big, air-condition unit is new and cold but the furniture and bathroom are rather aged.
Sound insulation isn't good at all, we can hear the noise from the walkway. The water piping also vibrate hard whenever you turn on the tab.
Breakfast is very ordinary and the coffee is terrible. Oh, there is a free WiFi, but it's very slow and at this current writing, only available in lobby area.
On the bright side, the hotel is under renovation so there are chances that my less than stellar experience could soon be rectified. The swimming pool shape and layout is unique and does make the property stand out in term of the look.

-WiFi only at the lobby
-Dirty pool
-Too Expensive
-Centralized Air-Cond! - they set it
-Room service after 12pm
-Towels way too old - ragged
-Receptionist not available past 11pm
My worst experience ever for a room with rm200+ per night.Totally not worth it.

Spacious room

Will not come again. No WiFi! Smelly waters, too basic room conditions, only suitable for people who fail to search a damn cheap budget motel in Malacca because that's the standard here. RM50 room with a RM200plus price tag!

This resort should have been torn down along time ago. It is in desperate need of renovations. I was just there Oct 3, 2015 - Oct 5. Unless you absolutely can't afford another hotel, I would not recommend staying here. The coffee cups has little bugs in it because housing keeping didn't clean them before my arrival, nor did they clean during my visit. the bathroom had mold all around the bath tub and the sink. The toilet seat had to been the original seat from when the place was built. It was old and not where I would like to sit my bottom.
there where 2 irons on each floor for the entire guess and we had to iron an a small dresser and the end of the hallway. The bathroom had no hair dryers and did I mention the show head is so low that if you are tall you would have to get on your knees to take a shower.
The swimming pool cements was all cracked around it and the waterfall was not working. No good working WiFi. Well maybe if you stand on top of the building with one leg pointing south and your cell phone pointing Northeast you may connect.
When asked for clean towels, I was told they had no more. From what I could tell our group was the only large group there besides several other guest.
I believe at one port this resort may have been a very nice resort but in the day and age.

Well if u have least expectation u will be happy to stay here. For almost rm200 per room, u might have disappointed with facility in the room. Tv is dirt cheap crt tv, not flat screen, not lcd and it making electric noise. No mineral water provided for free. Tea/coffee set are not serve in a tray. Just arrange on a table. Loose Cabinet door. Bed and pillow is at worst. No carpet, imagine how cold it can be with aircond turn on. And aircond is not controllable, cant adjust temperature and speed. If this hotel is slightly above 100 i dont mind but its nearly rm200. Highly not recommend to stay here. Put it as ur last resort when all other hotels are fully occupied.
