This is the second time we came to this cafe. It is a very nice and quiet cafe among the busy street of Jonker.
We had a special baba coffee, salted egg toast with mushroom (option for chicken) and salted egg pasta. The food are very tasty.
Personally, we prefer the ham than chicken for the pasta but it depends on your tastebuds.
Price is also reasonable along with friendly staff. This is a place to come by if you come Melaka.

Quaint relaxed cafe with simple food and lovely feline companion called Kiki.

Nice little cafe tucked away parallel to the busy Jonker st that offer a bit or getaway from the heat. Didn't have food here but the Kayak Special Coffee was fantastic, not as sweet as typical southeast Asia "kopi", but full of flavor. Staff are extra nice and environment is great.

Good coffee. Best to order at the bar or you can keep waiting.

Relaxed cafe, with friendly staff who leave you alone when you want to work on your laptop, but are attentive as soon as you wish to order something. Free wifi and good quality drinks, 'Welcome to Melaka". They also recently put in a air-conditioner!

I'm definitely love the place and environment here! It's such a place that away from noisy and busy city~ so much relax here~ is an ideal to bring a long with a geng of friends and/or family to have a brunch here~ Enjoy their Melaka Elvis, Salted Duck Egg Spaghetti, pumpkin sup and a cup of cappuccino~ Portion is quite big and I love to share it with friends, all is nice, delicious and worth for the price and waiting time. Highly recommend it and I will come back here for my next melaka trip!

It was good and the place has a super cosy feel to it. The food is good, but a tad overpriced given the local cost of life.

Slow service and overpriced. 4 piece toast costed us 18rm

A decent place for coffee and to chill, wonderful vintage atmosphere. Price is a little towards the high side though.

Nice place to have breakfast or lunch!! The place is a vintage style coffee shop, nice staff, quiet place to stop and take a break after walking around the city! I recommend the salted egg duck pasta, and see you again for drink!

Great food and a very friendly staff. Nice place and confortable. We tried the salted egg spaghetti, the pumpkin soup, and the kaya breakfast. Everything was delicious! Good place to go more than once.

Slow service. Average quality of food and beverage. Don't go there during peak hours because you can wait forever

Cute little cafe with a European feel! Reasonable prices

The hospitality is something you'd expect from a cafe here in Jonkers, and this place is no exception. The ambiance is very old world-esque, which fits nicely in its theme. The food is tasty, flavourful and reasonably priced.

Service is lousy, they serve you coffee in a bag! Disgusting. Overpriced local coffee and paired with fresh milk, it's all wrong. kaya butter toast is also substandard. Western fare not any better.

One of the many pseudo-retro cafes popping up in Melaka especially in the Jonker area. Passable quality food but the prices are reasonable. Be prepared to wait even when it's not crowded. They do take some time to prepare something as simple as pancakes. Nice cozy ambience though sub an old world feel.

This place is OK.
Marinate in kaya we must, and ordered we did. 3 orders were placed for honey walnut toast, kaya cheese toast, and ying yang toast! After a brief fight with our taste buds the kaya cheese managed to slaughter it's way to the top of the food chain! Long live kaya cheese toast!

The cafe was good and its a bit secluded so I don't expect so much crowds here.. Oh yeah please try their Cheesy Wedges as they served it in a reasonable portion and the cheese dip was so good!!

Nice place to breakfast, big portion and delicious. My favorite is salmon in Kaya-Kaya + with affordable price
Matthias Stephan (11/02/2016 02:53)
Very friendli staff and a nice place.
But they had no more banana, no more espresso and the 2 thin and smal pencakes were like bread and tough. A big disappointment.
