Visited on a weekday off a reco from a local.
It's about one km off the main road, thus you could get misdirected to another outlet offering the same stuff.
Food in generally fresh and service is quite prompt.
Pricing is about midrange.
Supposedly, it can get pretty crowded on weekends although they do have the capacity ( about 30 tables)
Pretty standard fare overall.
Can't go wrong if you are not a fuzzy eater.

A great grilled seafood place in Malacca, and though the place can get packed on its own, it is a great "out of the hustle of city Malacca" gem to head to for great food.
Food is fresh, has minimal seasoning before cooking (unless you're ordering something of that nature), and the food quality has not disappointed each time we head up.
Getting there isn't an issue, even if you're not driving. We used Grab to get there, and to head to Jonker after dinner.
Do get there early to beat the crowd! We reached about 6pm on a Saturday and the place was starting to fill up. But don't worry, the staff clears the tables so quickly, any wait is a non issue.
To end, the prices are really a big draw for both quality and quantity.
Highly recommended 👍

large variety of fish and food. reasonable price (just double check their price for squid). nice ambiance. quite distance from city centre but it'll worth the trip. come early, before 7pm, to avoid long queue

As always...this is one of my pitstop for seafood whenever I'm in Malacca. Have meals there in a big group which will be cheaper than eating in a small group.. so far the taste meet my expectations. Delicious 😋

One of the best Ikan Bakar spot in Melaka. We went there early around 5.30pm after few hour the place became so crowded & ppl need to queue to book a place to sit. Very clean, well managed environment & delicious food. Nice view too. The staffs are very friendly & very attentive.

Superb seafood! Way cheaper than the Muara you get in Klang, Selangor. Good service. Food arrived within 15-20minutes. The size of the bamboo clams are big and meaty. The deep fried battered squid is perfectly tender. You can choose a fish and request to be cooked in 2 different ways. Totally worth it!!!

Personally for me there's nothing special except for the huge crowd. The seafood taste is normal, the price is normal. I have tasted far more delicious seafood without having to queue up for too long at the same amount of price. It's not worth my time for just having to wait for a normal seafood experience.

My personal favourite seafood place. The ikan bakar and sambal is amazing and the freshness of the seafood is out of this world. My wife and I would make day trips to Melaka just to have dinner here.
Come here by 6pm as it is always packed during weekends and public holidays resulting in a long queue for tables.

The seafood is fresh. Just as you expected from a restaurant that is located by a river. The dishes are above average. To avoid long (very long!) queue, better make reservation and order ahead.

Good service. Really popular place, if you're not lucky this place may be full house. Can organize a group or family dinner here. The food is delicious. The seafood is fresh and they have nice view. One of the cheapest seafood restaurant i had ever been to.

We ordered squids but unfortunately we got less than that. Ask them to check and was proven less. They cook in a huge portion and they got mixed up between tables.

Malay style seafood with a view. Come early around 6pm. This place will pack after 7pm and you will have to wait to get seat.

Very delicious ikan bakar done in authentic Malay way. Reasonably priced too, unfortunately, the parking issue is quite difficult there! I'll certainly be back. :)

Varieties of seafood can get here. Friendly worker and environment very nice.
ZulHairi Mahadi (10/02/2017 07:19)
I can only recommend this place if you are an experienced Umbai-style seafood eater.
I.e, it is to be eaten with Nasi Lemak, you know which fish to be cooked in which style, you know how much to order for the number of people that came with you, you know what sides to order, you keep track how many Nasi Lemak & Otak-otak your party ate etc..
Then you'll enjoy this place. The food tastes good and made as ordered. Due to the inrush of people going in and out, you can't waste time talking and asking for recommendation. Go someplace else first for that. Then come back here.
Emelda Jamel (09/01/2017 17:50)
Good variety of seafood. Big crowd usually, might have to wait for a table. Service is quite fast.
Haziq Suhaimi (06/01/2017 13:02)
This restaurant was recommended by my friends which according to them it was good in terms of service and food. I can practically say that the food it was nice and good, but the service here is very terrible..
When placing and order, the staff seems to be in rush like they didnt want to take the order.
I also would like to emphasise here that NEWBIE to this restaurant will face a major problem as the staff not really helpful to reccommend.
This will be the first and last. Based on my true experience.
safuan yusoff (18/09/2016 09:34)
Be prepared to wait during weekend or public holiday.. 30 minutes is considered very fast.. worth the wait..
Iriz Persona (15/09/2016 14:52)
Crowded but that is what food hunters loves right ? The service is lil bit slow . The food was quite good though . Just as its name , everyone would enjoy the breeze of Muara Duyung while having meal here . :)
Harith Zainudin (06/09/2016 00:59)
The food is woww!! I loved it.. And also the scenery
Izhar van Apaque (16/06/2016 06:32)
Dont go here on noon of holiday, heavy traffic ahead. Not only order, queuing for table also take time
KHALID (17/05/2016 17:32)

First time eating in this spot. Brought along foreign guests who loves seafood to have a taste of the local dishes. The staffs paid attention to our fussy wants and needs, accommodated us where they could and dished out an enjoyable dinner! Needless to say, it was worth the money.
