Lovely ambience and fast service. Loved the sharksfin soup, roast suckling pig and the fried spinach with pumpkin!

Suit for business, casual or group lunch/dinner. Easy to access and situated in prime areas

The food is good with ample parking. Staff are friendly and they try to accommodate your requests. Menu needs to be increased as they number of dishes is poor

Good place for Chinese fine dining. Expect large crowd on weekends and holidays.
I'll choose off peak to be there. Pricing on the high end and quality is always there.

Do not come here during festive season, especially chinese new year, we booked 8.30 pm but got serve a table way late than that; around 9.30 pm. The customer scramble for seats and there are no one to assist us. Once we are seated the food arrive much later (as expected).

Good food for wedding occasions and lunch. Well cooked and good presentation. Moreover lots of parking and good service. Reasonable price to most of us.

Poor service
We were unlocking ofo bike in front of bei zhan restaurant and someone poured the water on us from the rooftop.
As the ofo bike we get it from other place and park outside of a restaurant nearby, out of sudden, we saw a man from beizhan restaurant come and ride two of the bicycles the bike and park it outside beizhan restaurant. What the purpose of occupied the bike?

Cosy and clean place for a meal with family or group of people. Best to be there before 7pm for dinner to get a table or make reservation ahead to avoid disappointment. Food was delicious but gets thirsty after some time possibly some additives. This place also cater for weddings, private parties and events.

Poor service.
Went and ask for wedding packages, showed lack of interest in entertaining questions. Immediately turned us down while walking away immediately after we asked about halal food availability. Very rude.

Dined at Bei Zhan. Curry fish head, sweet sour and few other dishes. The taste and price is standard. Like the restaurant colonial design and very spacious. It has some private dining area very good for private function.

Bad service. We arrived but no one serve us. Till we order at the counter. Half an hour later , we don even hv drink from them. We just reminding at the counter. The 'boss ' with glasses raise his voice to us as we hv to inderstand they r peak season. We don expect apology from them, just need respect from the boss. I will never visit again.

Seemingly shunned by Malaccans, it comes as a surprise to most customers from outstation as it is known to be a Chinese restaurant with some unique dishes that is reasonably priced overall.
Two floors of dining make plenty of space for diners, although most will prefer downstairs that's more roomy, which has mostly to do with its tall ceiling. Both floors have a lot of seating space, making either one a suitable venue for wedding dinners.
A few specialties here include Mongolian Lamb and Crispy Piglet among some of the more common Chinese restaurant dishes.
For a place that is bright and modeled much like a colonial building, prices are reasonable and make it a primary option for many people. The restaurant is certainly crowded during peak hours and reservations are recommended for big parties.

this chinese restaurant, i dont know why, people around here say, that
this place is good, but for me, i think it's stupid for letting your customers
to wait such a long time to get a table to feast. All this restaurants always
forget that without your clients, your restaurant is no way. The food here
is not so fency at all.

I had a very bad experience here. They recommended me to order the Braised fish paste with yam and tofu. I agree as it's suitable for my kids to eat as the fish paste is boneless. To my surprise, when the food was served, i noticed that the fish paste were full of bones and luckily i did not let my kids eat. I called the management person and informed him. All he said was "i will remind the cooks" and walked away. He did not apologize nor offer any service to change the food at all. We were also charged accordingly in the bill without any discount as we did not eat any of the fish paste at all. Very bad experience!!!!!!!

Food was definitely at the pricey end . W/o the weak Ringgit ,most probably will not want to eat here. It has been a decade since I last dined here with the family.
Food is good but not as outstanding as in the past .they had changed their decor since a decade ago..seems to be doing with some regular customers . The Pa Tin fish is simply awesome ...totally worth the 70 Ringgit. Oatmeal prawns was decent , nothing to shout about.
Overall a good value meal for singaporeans but a pretty expensive meal if you are local.

Spacious... Looks grand... clean... service are fast and best of all is foods are Good and it comes with super unexpected price as it is very reasonable. Worth of dinning there...
Pls take note always check your bill details before any payments are been made. We hv the experience where the item that we did not order is in the bill.... as usual human makes errors... no worries over all it is worth of going ....
