3 sets ayam penyet (fried)
1 set ayam penyet bakar
1 bakso with mihun (RM5)
1 plate tempeh + tauhu (RM1)
1 teh panas
1 teh halia ais
1 carrot milk
RM40.50
Ayam penyet:
Soft crisp on the outside, tender on the inside. Very hot spicy chilli paste. Better than Favorich's ayam penyet which is hard on whole and lack of spice aroma.
Ayam penyet bakar
Although badly presented due to presence of kicap soaking all over and topped rough cut onions, the meat is smoky sweet, tender, mild spicy. A bit small portion.
Tempeh goreng is another creative dessert and taste good with its sauce.
The soup that serve together with penyet set is palatable albeit saltiness is an issue.
The soup of the bakso is salty sweet with very mild sour (due to chilli vinegar sauce), served with 5 beef meatballs and generous vegetables in it. The meatballs have slightly strong beef taste.
For penyet set that comes with plain rice, raw cucumber, lettuce, cabbage slice and 1 bean sprout, its price tag is on the high side.
No aircond, open air dining is available.
