Staff are pleasant, Room is clean. If you are light sleeper, don't stay here. The wall and windows do not keep the noise away.

Had a beer and a crispy duck salad while waiting for my feet to recover from foot tour of Melaka.
Duck salad, had olives and capers plus salad and shredded duck. Nice East/West idea.
Beer was served in long glasses. Very cool

This hotel is located just at the heart of jonker street where all tourism in melaka takes place. The hotel is old, but it is still well maintained, except lift needs maintenance.

We were here with my family so we had 2 rooms booked on Agoda, room was slightly smaller with basic amenities,call down and requested 2 extra towels but was told we can't have it so that bad.

Excellent location... night market , shopping area, all major attractions at throw away distance. Decent rooms.

Hotel location is great. Less than 10 mins walk to shopping, Jonker night market and river. Room is big and clean. Hotels staff are very friendly and helpful. They attended to us very quickly for any assistance. When my son handphone fell through the lift gap onto the ground floor, the hotel staff immediately attended to us and get help from the lift maintenance. Would love to stay in this hotel for our next trip.

Comfortable room. Clean bathroom. Small elevator. We took the breakfast included package, get to choose a set from the cafe's menu for FOC.

The building is beautiful and rooms are big. The staff is not very professional. We booked this hotel because they have a jacuzzi on the roof and we have a child, so we taught it would have been a good idea to stay there, just in the centre of Melaka and few steps from Chinatown and museums area. I insisted over the phone about the jacuzzi (Melaka is very hot!) and they told me that they have a jacuzzi and we could use it for free, etc, but when we arrived the pool was empty. So we asked why and they didn't know what to say... after 10 minutes they told us they have to clean it and it will be ready for the next day in the afternoon. My friend argued with the lady at the reception and at the end they gave us a 10% discount. Not very nice at all. The next day, in the afternoon, we could have a bath there.
At the ground floor there is a quite good Italian restaurant, Bamboo Hut Bistro, but a bit overpriced. Staff is friendly and professional.
Poor breakfast with fixed menu.
