It is very good to know the family of former governor of jakarta. They sell the merchandise of him. In the front of souvenir shop, there is a big house. That is his parent's house. His parent welcomes the passenger who wants come in.

Actually this is a souvenir shop. There's a cake, quite expensive. And the label is: "created by ahok's mom" Wow, nice strategy to collect money from tourist. Others souvenir also not special, you can find it anywhere in jakarta.

A tourist location. But not much to see and to do there. There is a belitong batik in Ahok Family residence, also a belitong traditional house

This is the residence of Mr. Ahok parents and aunt. His grandfather owns and operate a restaurant and bakery shops 200 meters from here. They all very humble and warm, we were honored to be able to met them.

Little garden at the back is quite nice for sitting and relaxing.....

I admire Ahok, so it is natural if I come here to see his history and childhood house. The souvenir shop contains shirts, pins, photos, as well as snacks made by Ahok's mother. The real house is usually closed, but will open if Ahok's family is there. From the exterior, I can see that Ahok's house is one of the biggest around the area. There is a lodging call 'Purnama Hotel' on the back of the house that has 13 rooms. They keep pets like horses and ponies as well. Too bad the parking space is very limited, though.

If you loves and admire or just curious about Basuki Tjahaja Purnama or known as Ahok, then you should visit this place. You can see big house belongs to his family and if you are lucky enough, his mom; if she's around and well enough, will let visitors in for a tour. You can see the house where Ahok grow up and they have several pets like donkey and pony at the back of the house. The other is house to sell souvenirs if you are into that kind of things (like me)

It is a beautiful traditional wooden house of Belitung! The menu is quite humble. We visited it on 11 August 2016 at 16:30ish and were served by friendly Ava, Opi, and Santi. It is rather bothering to know that they (intentionally?) miscalculated the bill. It was Rp 86,000 on the bill while it should have been Rp 56,000. The bill was handwritten. 😞
