She's a great host and will really look after you. She organised anything we needed and sometimes more! She's really cool and down to earth.
Our one night stay became a week. Local restaurants and transport were easy via Motor and Grab. Chilled vibes at the place as it was cosy and very clean.
Free water and breakfast. Had the pleasure of chilling with two cats during our stay.
Will miss everything! She made Jogda a very cool place for us to visit.

First of all, you need to tell the owner around what time that you will check-in because she has another work outside the house. This comfy place has only 2 bedrooms that you can rent with 1 shared bathroom (cold shower & western toilet).
All bedrooms are equipped with a double size springbed, fan, & bath towels.
It has facilities such as free WiFi, shared kitchen, light breakfast, mineral water, coffee & tea that you can make anytime, & also milk.
And there's an adorable cat named Shifu!
As for the price, you can contact the owner directly ;)

superb!! havin a real good time there. I was in a very tight deadline when I stayed at KaliKala that I didn't have much time to socialize with fellow travelers and Delima the host (SAAADDDD), I felt so restless for quite a few days but KaliKala helped restore my sanity lol xD The homestay's atmosphere was so laid-back, in front of my room there's a small water fountain that worked like a therapeutic tunes that people might play before sleeping--except this one is completely natural. It is located in the heart of Yogyakarta, yet the sonic atmosphere there wasn't like in the middle of urban environment--it's so village-y, in a good way. In the morning Delima bought me some traditional snacks, and we had that short-but-nice morning tea talk while occassionally playing with her fluffy cat Shifu, and the next thing I realized was that i forgot the pressure of my deadline (i finished it on time anyway, in a more chill attitude). I love how Delima treats her guests like an old friend, and Kalikala's facility was more than just ok. All I wanna say is, it's amazing how little things could mean so much to other people; so keep doing what you do, Delima & Shifu, keep being awesome!

This place is amazing. Makes you feel like home, but then you'd want your home to be as cozy and nicely decorated as Kalikala homestay. From the moment I booked a room I was contacted by the owner, Delima, who will help you with every detail of your trip. Even before you get there. Also, if you miss your pets, you can have some pet time with Shifu, the cat. There's also a fish in the fish pond outside. The place isn't easy to find, it's well placed on the maps, so that will help. The neighbourhood is quiet and people are very friendly. Lots of artsy cafes and restaurants in the area, Delima will surely help you pick one. ATMs , 24/7 store and a supermarket are within a 5 minute walk.

Delima was an excellent host and was very accommodating of our last minute booking when we found out we couldn't stay at our previous homestay. She was very helpful in answering all our questions about the area and finding us a cab for the airport. She even went out of her way to mail my sunglasses to our next hotel when I left them behind! Thanks so much for that Delima :)
The room was very clean and cozy and we were offered anything we needed in the kitchen and fridge. Delima was also very accomdating of letting us stay late while waiting for our flight. Great place to stay! Highly recommend if you're in Jogja!
