Very homy and countryside vibe, would've given full points if there was a wheelchair friendly access.

Dirty, barely working AC or WiFi. Pool was unusable due to amount of mold and algae. Photos don't look like this place - maybe taken when they had someone good keeping up the grounds, pool and common areas. Seat cushions were disgustingly dirty throughout the entire place. Rooms were clean but they tried to mask the moldy smell with multiple air fresheners. WiFi is horrible and AC units in 2 rooms we were in barely worked. By morning the rooms were cool. Great communication and very remote which is great for those looking to escape the city.

We had a wonderful time at the guesthouse. Wulan, Cahyo and the others are caring, helpful and friendly hosts. Price-performance is really good. Self made tasty food and many tips what and how to do in and around Yogyakarta. Pick up service and scooter rental possible. We highly recommend the place.

It's wonderful place to stay if you wonder how's village living...far from crowded city and everyone smile back at you with strait eyes..hahaha. anyway you will meet Mrs. Astuti herself if you lucky, she is an Artist..

This stay was the best stay for me and my friend when we were in Indonesia. First of all the family was very welcoming to us. The service was very good! But also the family was very welcoming to us and very easy going to talk and have fun with.
This homestay is also a gallery as the name clearly implies and there are many beatiful paintings by Astuti. The homestay is runned by the daughter of the artist Astuti and sun and daughter.
The family really made as feel welcome as part of the family. They could give advice over the places we wanted to see. Also the food was very good. I will definitely come back here when I will visit Jogjakarta again.
