Use it's ifthar promotion package Rp.145.000,-/pax for gathering with friends and it worth every rupiah. The food was delicious and have enough variety for everyone, the dining area was spacious and all the staff were nice and eager to help. Keep up the good work!

This is the biggest hotel in this city, the services of this hotel is nice, and the room quite large for the deluxe rooms. The variety food for breakfast of this hotel is amazing and delicious. The minus side is that sometimes its hard to find parking spaces especially at the weekend.

Hotelnya besar dan bagus. Fasilitas lengkap dan strategis. Tp sayang, lift di gedung lama nya agak menakutkan dan kurang byk. Tdk sebanding dgn jumlah kamar yg byk sehingga agak berebut dan perlu menunggu cukup lama sampai bisa masuk lift.

Stay here during transits. Clean and proper room. I stayed in the "new building" row... it's nice. Breakfast variant are fine, taste average.

Nice hotel with friendly staff and decent range of food. Rooms a little smaller than average but quite comfortable. Linens are clean and in good condition but mattresses could be a little firmer for my aging back.
Pool is very good with two shallow pools for kids and a large one for adults and older children.
Breakfasts are decent as well with a good range of food.

Nice place to stay over. Hotel with 4 stars plus, they give the best services.
But for smoking rooms, sometime we need to ask them to provide the ashtray and we have to wait for more than 30 minutes.
For breakfast they have many choices, from western and traditional foods.
The hotel also provide taxi if you need one, and no need to wait for long time. The taxi is flat fare depend on the distance or zone. A bit weird if we often using the "argo" taxi.

Breakfast was good, the room was quiet clean but i could smell the smoke in the room eventhough i booked the non smoking ones. I love their welcome drink as well, the markissa juice from makassar

Book a room with pool view and its awesome. Its not a good choice for a budget travller since the rates is quite expensive with the average services and facilities.

I booked a nonsmoking room, but when I came, I was given a smoking room. My mom and I can't stand cigarette smoke and forced to stay because it has already made payment. There's no effort from the hotel to provide non smoking rooms that I have previously ordered.
The bathroom door could not be closed tight and could not be locked. Electricity often goes out. 3 days 2 nights I live here and in the last 2 days the electricity often went out. On the second day, my mother and I had to climb the stairs to the room because the lift did not work. I live on the 5th floor.
I didn't imagine what would happen if I lived on the 16th floor and had to climb the stairs to my room because of important necessities.
One star I give each for breakfast also for frontliner and housekeeping crew friendliness.
For breakfast, there are plenty of choices, from local to international food. There must be typical Makassar and local food presented in 1 day: kue talam, bongko klapa, kue traditional, kolak campur, coto makassar, sup konro, gado-gado, bubur ayam, nasi uduk.
For international food also provided many types of cheese, muesli, almonds, donuts, salads, yogurt, cake variations, toast.
The waiters were also spry in summarizing the dirty dishes on the table without being asked.
Try their sarabah (a drink made from ginger juice and javanese sugar) at the lobby. They serve it as a welcome drink. Good enough to refresh our body. When I came there was a man playing traditional instruments at the lobby. You can watch it while drink the sarabah.
The frontliner crew and housekeeping very kindly gave me an explanation of every question.
Well, changing nonsmoking room into smoking room is very fatal. If only I were given a good room and nonsmoking room as I had already booked, I would have given more stars.
I hope in the future this hotel can seriously listen to customer requests.

Clean, staffs are polite and helpfull, room is spacious and relatively clean except for the balkon. I doubt they clean it everyday.
Downside is the breakfast. Many options but lack of taste. Getting a cup of tea during breakfast requires some patience.

The room is quite comfy, but somehow become unpleasant because of the bathroom's door that couldn't be locked. We only found one pair of slippers for 2 guest in our room (not prepared, i think). The food is quite good. Has a bike rentals, which I rarely found in another place.

First i come to this hotel,my expectation very high coz i got some good information about this hotel from reviewer & from my friend,but actually im really disatisfaction,first i come no one from the concierge welcoming me.my check in time little bit longer,my request for late check out is rejected by FDA "AYU".arraving at my room,i think very standart room with type "superior room" that i booked.cleanliness week,some pillow case dirty.for bfast experience very weak,variety of food a little, isn't attractive,taste of food very standart,to much staff incharge @ legend restaurant but no one care,no SOP.no greeting at all from every staff that i meet around the hotel.overall i think its my poor experience since i stay at some hotel.very not recommended.

One of the best hotel in Makassar I think. Avoid rooms near swimming pool, as it will be noisy, especially when they have pool event.
At weekend, music beats from the club might be heard at night.

Great Hotel in town. I feel comfort when spend my time at this hotel. Breakfast menu is so various, and the taste is so delicious, and you can find local menu as well.
Swimming pool and gym have high international quality.
Although makassar city is not big enough and you can reach any corner easily, the location is not near shopping place, but near to telco business building, university and local culinery.
