Aston hotel location is strategic in the central city of Makassar, near with Losari beach and "kuliner". Hotel service is good and friendly, but no welcome drink during check in process. This hotel recommended for the others, just improve your service.

Aston hotel is the place for me to stay during my business trip to Makassar and I am very happy to write this for sharing to others.
The convenience hotel for family vacation, clean place, nice staff and they are working with good attitude/ trustworthy.
Facilities are completely sauna/ spa/ indoor swimming pool etc.

The room was great, it was spacious, cozy and very clean. The amenities were complete. The service was excellent, fast and friendly. The food/breakfast was delicious. I simply enjoyed my stay very much.

Hotel location near to Losari Beach, center of culinary and handicraft. We can walk around 5-10 minutes to find them
Room is quiet and clean
Breakfast menu is good, serves typical food from Makassar in addition to food in general
Need improvement of front liners when check in and check out, especially in speedy and friendliness.

Good points:
Reception and security staffs are very friendly and smiley to be willing help guests always.
Bad points:
The breakfast is much worse than before; less variety and quality for western foods, such as cheese, yogurt, bread and salad. Also service staffs at breakfast restaurant are not so energetic to serve guests, some of staff is always grumpy face to be asked any service.
And bathroom needs much improvement; the drainage pipes were stuck and water was overflowing at wash basin and shower booth.

The location is in the city center. You can reach your favorite place easily. The hospitality is very great!

Very nice hotel near everything. Breakfast is very good with fantastic view. Sky Lounge restaurant on the roof is great place for drink and sunset but is separate to hotel so can’t use room to pay here. Not cheapest hotel in Makassar but value for money.

Cozy hotel with extra facilities. Near culinary place, losari beach, souvenir shops, park, banks, etc. One of the trip advisor recommended.

Not so bad. Love the indoor pool. Fitness area is not so okay. Cleanliness and Maintenance are needed in some facilities. Including the towel.

Lokasi strategis, dekat dengan pantai Losari, dan sentra oleh-oleh Jl Somba Opu.
Tidak jauh juga dari lokasi kuliner iconic seperti Konro Karebosi dan Coto Nusantara.

Needs better cleaning all over. The Breakfast is big, but it's not always easy to get what you want, it can be either out or there is a long line for you to place an order. The thermostat in my room needed calibration. There some annoying sounds produced in the room every once in a while. It is hard to believe this is considered one of the best hotels in Makasar!

Very well managed, comfort room, cool AC, nice tv station, free wifi, fast hot water, large for superior room, many menus serve in the restaurant. There are 4 lifts can be used.

such an honour we were well welcomed by Mr. Joko Budi Jaya himself and he's very nice person with hospitality.
the staff always delivers their unique warm greetings which i assumed that's representing Aston as one of the finest hotel in Makassar.
their delicious breakfast menu were perfectly satisfied my belly with fine palate ♥

Larger room size than average hotel, bright room lighting, 4 lifts (very quick).
But many downsides; hospitality problem, weak wifi, poor quality breakfast and experience are 3 main drawbacks.

Great facilities, great services, great foods & beverages, nice & friendly staffs. Great location too, since it's near Losari Beach & Trans Studio.
But, once in the morning I asked for 2 bottles of 1,5 L mineral waters but it was slow responses, the staff just sent me the bottles in the afternoon which I already bought ones myself using another service.
Other than that, everything just great.

Nice swimming pool and sauna at the roof floor. Front desk is slow and not the most helpful one in arranging anything from transport to an iron or a bathrobe. Rooms are not very tidy and a little outdated. The TV signal is horrible. Make sure you don't get a room anywhere close to the elevator as the constant DING will drive you crazy. Breakfast is packed and gets refilled very slowly, so be sure to be there on time or just leave it as it is very basic anyway. Overall not very pleased with my 2nd stay here and for next time I will choose one of the other places around. And yes the GM replied also last time to my comment and nothing changed...

Room is nice and quiet, front office staff very kind and fast for check in and out, location is good... but not for the room service food and housekeeping... room service food is not acceptable, very bad.. especially the Salad what I ordered... even they change it with the new one after I complain... still came not the one I order.
Housekeeping is unprofessional, when I'm gonna leave my room the housekeeping staff passing by and I request to them to clean up my room and one of them already came into my room, but when i'm back to my room after 3 hours, the rooms is still untouched and my room in UNLOCK condition, luckily there's nothing lose..
I'm gonna think twice to stay again in this hotel.

this hotel is an awesome hotel that keep the privacy of all guests, especially at the facility like pool and gym...
and also the restaurant at the top is very amazing, you can get a very nice view of Makassar city...

Hotel in heart of the city and near to the infamous Losari Beach. Near to Supermarket and fast food outlet. A skybar at level 20 with great view of the sea.

Spending three nights here was the right decision I made during my business trip to Makassar. A memorable hotel and it was simply a pleasant stay. Check in/out process was quick and the welcome drink (local drink of Sarabba) upon my arrival was excellent! A bit suprise noticing that the lobby is not as big as a normal four star hotel. Really love the spacious and quiet bedroom with four generous pillows and large bathroom. What I find phenomenal was the pool at the 15th floor! It was a perfect pool with unmatched view and perfect depth and length. The breakfast was also an acceptable one
