Fietstocht geboekt inclusief batak cursus. We werden opgehaald met een busje bij ons hotel en naar de locatie gebracht (45 min. buiten Yogja). Met een gids op de fiets door de dorpjes en plantages gereden, fantastisch! We werden begeleid door een scooter die zorgde voor de veiligheid op de wegen.
Voor mijn zoontje van twee jaar was een fietsstoeltje geregeld, dus dat was heel prettig. De gids en chauffeur waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
Na afloop kregen we lunch aangeboden, traditioneel Javaanse lunch.
Medewerkers spreken goed Engels!

Nu al het einde! En onder het genot van een sweetie Nasi Goreng en een super aardige, wetenswaardige en locale gids de volgende trip gepland :) Nog maar 1 dag gehad, dus beter post volgt...

De fiets tour was erg leuk. De tour begint in het dorp van de gids met lekkere hapjes. Zeer vriendelijk en vertelt over van alles. Je fietst door een mooie omgeving en ziet hoe de locale leven. Leuk om te doen als je in Yog bent!

The cycling tour is a must do in Yogyakarta. We were picked up in our hotel and brought to a small village. The local people all smiled and waved at us. You can take photos everywhere you want. They are very flexibel in times and things to do. We even got time for a swim in the river! At the and of the tour we made our own Batik art work. This is also a tour with humor! You can laugh a lot because of their jokes. We really recommend this tour!.

I wish I could give a negative score. AVOID THIS AGENCY!!
They will ask you to pay everything in advance and you will be left with a worthless receipt. They will change your reservation without you knowing and - literally - laughing in your face once you complain. Seriously, I didn't expect a flawless trip but this has been ridiculously bad even for Indonesian standards. Apparently you can never set the expectation bar too low.
We booked a three days long journey by minivan to Bromo, Ijen and finally Bali. We have been carried around for the days in several minivans, all dirty, malfunctioning, tiny and overloaded. AC, which we paid for, was broken on one of them, barely noticeable on another and we had water dropping on our heads from it on a third one. Some of the seats were broken and would not remain in the upfront position, some others detached from the floor of the minivan.
We have been dropped on the side of very trafficked street like animals multiple times, with little or no explanation and no time estimate. We waited for hours under the sun in front of their subsidiary agencies with our luggages (backpacks in our case) on the asphalt: at every step you are taken to a local agency were some guy will explain to you and all the other people what there is to see in the area, how much each combination costs and tries to convince people to spend more money. If you already considered your options and bought your tickets, you don't want to wait over and over (for hours!!) for other people to plan what to do and pay, but you have no option. This is really frustrating after more than 10 hours of minivan, with four more hours of minivan in front of you.
This would already be enough to discourage everyone from ever booking anything with this agency, but in some sense we expected most of these discomforts - although not this bad.
What left us shocked and outraged is how they decided to change our reservation without even informing us, dropping us to a different hotel which was 50 km away from our intended destination and rushing us inside our rooms. When we asked for an explanation we have been told that the hotel (that we booked 2 hours before at their agency!!!) was completely full and this was the only hotel with rooms available (in a 50 km radius, can you believe that?!). We asked their representative to call the agency in Probolinggo, he faked the call and repeated us "yes, everything else is full". Having noticed I asked him to call again and let me speak with them. They kept ignoring my requests treating me like an idiot. They offered to buy us dinner as a compensation. I did not accept and asked to be taken to a closer hotel or to be given a refund. They hung up the phone and switched it off!!! I called the agency in The, I spoke with a guy who told me he would look for my reservation, get in contact with their agency in Probolinggo and call me back. He never did. I called him again after half an hour and he told me that he found no reservation in my name, asking to send him the name via SMS. I did and waited again. Again no answer so I tried to call him again. His phone was off. I wrote him another message and after one hour he replied asking to call his boss at another number. I replied that I was running out of credit, asking if he could ask his boss to call me instead. He replied "Ok..." after half an hour and that was the last time I heard from them.
We understood we had no negotiation power so we accepted their conditions. We asked to show us the restaurant, they pointed somewhere in front of the hotel. Being suspicious at that point we asked to be taken there and shown which was restaurant. The guy, laughing in our face, took us to a hawker. At that point we lost our cool and yelled to the guy, who decided he had enough and left to go home, with no explanation.
We went to the room to try to sleep as we had to wake up at midnight. The room was so dirty we tried to sleep in our clothes on the bed, but were so nervous we didn't make it.

Excellente organisation !
Nous sommes arrivés avec ma femme et nous avons été accueilli à l'aeroport.
Excursion au temple de prambanan, puis le lendemain lever du soleil à Borobudur avec visite du village Imogiri à vélo.
Ihsan a été très chaleureux avec nous et nous a permis de nous initier au Batik. Les paysages sont à couper le souffle. Les habitants sont d'une extrême gentillesse.
Je vous recommande sans aucune hésitation.

Fue aquí donde contratamos nuestros tours tanto a los templos de budista e indu como al bromo. Un sitio correcto y seguro, relación calidad precio muy buena. Aunque quizás alguna especificación más sobre las visitas hubiera estado bien.
