The Sidji offers great accommodation with very affordable rates in the centre of Pekalongan... you are welcomed by their friendly staff with sincerity and I really appreciate this..

Arrived at 8 PM
Use GPS to locate sidji hotel
At the first glance the hotel just small with Javanese aura
I ask for double bed
But unluckily full
The staff here quite convenience and helpful
So okay i try for twin merged become one (but always hate this type because usually your bed moving around and theres space in the middle)
Theres pool in the middle
The room quite ok for that price
Its better than the last hotel at tegal i thought
The slipper quite comfy
Theres refrigerator here
For the breakfast was great

Currently the best hotel in Pekalongan, for me :)
Preserving heritage house as front area of the hotel.
Friendly and helpful staff

A return visit. Reliable hotel for quality of rest and great breakfast. Nice big room and bathroom.

love the room, love the breakfast here, but not the toilet (only a slide door and there's no lock for the door)

A relatively small hotel. The front part of the hotel is a distinct colonial house with a tasteful colonial style interior, which makes the hotel stands out. Room is comfy, modern, and each has window overlooking the swimming pool in the courtyard. Moderately priced. There are some good restaurants around, within walking distance is also a shopping mall and the city plaza ('alun-alun'). The only downside is that I can hear (loudly)when the shower in the next room is running ... and so many people are smoking in the seating area around the swimming pool, which unfortunately I have to pass everytime I need to go out of the hotel.

Picturesque hotel that used to be the home of a prominent Pekalongan businessman. They tried to preserve some of the old characteristics of the home for the main office, hotel and meeting rooms. All other rooms were newly built and equipped with modern amenities. Staff is friendly, helpful. Ideal location for exploring Pekalongan

As mentioned in their website, their staffs are all local and are the best person to ask about hidden spots in town. At one night one of the staff insisted that we had to try the local food "gemblong". Though the gemblongs was sold out when we arrived, we witnessed interesting way the seller made the gemblong, consists of some small cakes and poured with coconut milk.
Rooms are clean and staffs are friendly. Breakfast is nice and has local and western options but probably useless since the best place to breakfast in Pekalongan is at street vendors.

A nice decorative heritage hotel. Price is reasonable, room is ok. But too bad, towel is a bit old and wear out.

Old javanese house ornament on front of the room building give this place history alike place, and make it more cozy and bring javanese hospitality.

Quite nice and clean hotel. Unique too. Pool is quite shallow and small. But good interior. Old house infront but buildings for rooms are new. Room is not that big but nit too small. Consider still ok.

Overall this hotel is great... Just lots of mosquito... May be because the hotel has lots of open air places
Bobby Pranata (18/06/2017 16:52)
The room is super comfy & clean and also the breakfast is really good. They keep the old building in front of and tell us the story about it. Unique-vintage concept!

The roof building is broken the material using low price material and now its broken and my house is broken because the guy who build the sidji is 10 cm from my house
(Mepet) because that my house wall is cracking

Clean, easy to find, in the middle of the city, when breakfast sometimes we get traditional food /beverages but unfortunately very small parking area

What a lovely classic hotel. But parking is not easy. Restaurant at the rear of the building. Affordable local foods.

Indri Kristina Hardjasatya (15/11/2016 11:42)
A very interesting concept combining old and new. Hotel is lovely, clean. Was sick when I stayed there so relied on room service for meals. Food was good and not too overpriced. Breakfast is standard hotel food but the opor ayam stood out. Hopefully can stay there again and have more time to enjoy the unique aspects of the hotel next time.
Daniele Besana (25/08/2016 03:52)
Beautiful place, colonial style mixed with peranakan Chinese style.
It's live sojourning in a museum!
Service and restaurant live up to the expectation.

Pius Andhika Gustianto (26/12/2015 03:29)
Pros: Brand new place with nice design, clean, comfortable, great service, and nice room facilities.
Cons: room size is not too spacious
