We can learn life values and philosophy through wayang stories painted on paintings at this gallery. Javanese wayang takes the stories from Indian masterpiece which are Mahabharata and Ramayana, but the Javanese artists develop it in their own way resulted in unique style of wayang paintings, stories, dances, operas, and show.
Herjaka himself also develops his own style of Javanese wayang. Apart from taking ideas from Mahabharata and Ramayana classic stories, he also takes the contemporary society issues as the paintings ideas.
