I really enjoyed the tour this morning the crew is always happy to help and very funny, the electric bike makes it very easy for anybody so you can be sure to enjoy it. There are very well-organised and very easy to reach. Make sure you connect with them if you want to do a great tour around Ubud!

My wife and I took the half day tour and really enjoyed it. The view of the rice fields was breathtaking and gave us a great opportunity to commune with nature. the guides were very friendly and knowledgeable and also took great care of our safety by ensuring that one guide led us and the other followed behind us with a buggy following us all the way. A great way to do sightseeing and would recommend the same highly

I don’t write reviews very often but my friends at eBikes Bali deserves to know they’ve done well.
I was promptly picked up from my hotel and driven to the meeting location. I paid for my ride and chose the lunch I would have at the end of the tour. It’s included in the price. The bikes are electric or mechanical. You can use pedal power or electric, and you will need the electric at certain points. I was in a small group of 4 other very nice people. The sights and views were breathtaking. The tour operators and people of the region were delightful. After the tour, we ate lunch as a group and was then returned to the hotel. Please do hesitate to ask questions if you have them!
The extras touches like water, chilled towels, and guides that treat you like family make a huge difference. It was like riding with friends.
I love bike tours when I am traveling and I’ve done quite a few but this one was another level of wow!

Dear Ebike Team. Thank you sooooo much for most amazing experience we just had. It provides a choice of being effortless or being challenging, depending on what you chose it to be. As you can either use it as bicycle or “motorbike” at any point of time. Everybody in the team is extremely helpful, friendly and very very professional. After this tour I have a feeling I read a book about local culture and traditions. Above all, it can be quite challenging to get teenager to visit site seeings, especially when it is really hot. And adding this experience of “almost riding a real motorbike”, while actually bicycling gave my daughter, who is 13 years old, a lot of new perspectives to the tour and ability to say to her friends that she actually bicycled 16km ;-)... once again, thank you very much for everything and I hope to see you all again to make couple of more trips around this beautiful island. We both wish you a successful growth of your incredible business, which indeed doesn’t cut corners and provides just excellence! 🙏🏼🌺❤️

This by far was one of my favourite activities in Bali. The scenery was exquisite and picturesque!
The tour guides were very friendly and had us all laughing. They also gave us interesting facts about the locations we stopped at. I was very glad we chose ebikes as it was a warm day, this meant we could take it easy should we want to, especially with hills.
Overall it was an amazing experience and would definitely do it again.

Traveling in the open air on quiet electric bikes along paths through the Tegalalang rice terraces that are inaccessible to cars was a unique and unforgettable adventure. The guides were excellent, provided plenty of opportunities to take photos and even provided photos of us at the conclusion of our outing. We visited an ancient temple and a Lewak coffee farm along the way, and finished with a complementary lunch. There is a "golf cart" option for family members who don't want to bicycle. This was my first time on an electric bike - very easy to master. Excellent outing in all respects!

My husband and I experienced the 3 hour bike tour to Tegalalang rice terraces and it was one of the major highlights of our week-long trip to Bali. Before this tour, I hadn't been on a bicycle for 12 years, but the bikes were easy to manage with simple gearing and powerful motors that make short work of any hills. The guides were wonderful - helpful, informative and funny. We were kept mostly off main roads (I'd been a bit anxious about taking on the Bali traffic), and our trip through the rice fields was tranquil and scenic. When we DID come to a major intersection, one of the guides would skilfully hold up all oncoming traffic and wave us through! The rice terraces are beautiful and well worth the visit and the coffee and tea tasting stop was both a welcome break and a lot of fun. The ride home after that is all downhill, and when you dismount, there is a tasty meal to look forward to. This was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, and I would happily do it again...

Great bike tour! First time on e-bikes and I am not sure I can ever go back! The guides were great and we had the tour to ourselves. They took great photos for us and explained a ton of information. One of the best tours we have done in SE Asia!

Fun day travelling around Ubud with friendly guides. The bikes were in superb condition and came with a battery to push you along the entire journey. We saw a few cool sites, especially the rice fields. I felt safe the entire time, even on the busy roads. We each got a water bottle and a meal provided. They took photos of us, posted them on Facebook and emailed us the link. It was fantastic to have a conversation with the guides about culture and life in Bali.

We came to eBikes as part of a bachelorette! Had an amazing time and the bikes were such a blast to ride and so easy since they were electric! The guides were hilarious and so fun - highly recommend!

Great fun and fantastic way to see rural Bali. Used motor pretty much all way round except downhill bits! Buddy and Juice were knowledgeable and always had our best interest in mind. Bikes in good order. Lots of photo shots.

It must be one of the best experiences to explore Ubud this way. Getting real close and personal with the sights and smells of the countryside and the magnificent rice terraces. The guides were very good in making sure everyone received a great experience. They made sure everyone was safe by guiding and managing traffic as the main roads leading back could be very busy with many cars. Thumbs up to these guys! Very much recommended.

It was absolutely pouring with rain the day we had planned to do our bike tour. However, despite the rubbish weather, we really had a brilliant morning. The guides were superb - very knowledgeable, good fun but above all really cheerful despite the heavy rain! We felt this was a bit more off the beaten track than other tours and the scenary was stunning. I would highly recommend this activity. Thanks guys for making a miserable rainy day a super fun and memorable experience.
Jay Lee (29/06/2017 01:39)
These guys are awesome. We had a fun time riding bikes on the road. My wife could not ride the bike after a while and they were able to quickly assist by having her ride in the buggie that followed us!
Eva Godwin (26/06/2017 12:46)
I did this tour with my daughter and it was fantastic. The bikes are of high quality and really make riding enjoyable if you are not the fittest in your life yet you feel you are doing outdoor activity. The guides are knowledgable and make it all interesting and the little stops break it up into sections. Hi am so glad we booked this tour and I highly recommend this company - very professional and caring.
Ruth Teys (23/06/2017 11:31)
We did this tour and can highly recommend it. The knowledge from our guide about the local customs was really fascinating. The bikes were way better than i thought they would be. They are very easy to use and do not take long to get use to. We had two guides with us and they made sure we were safe on the roads stopping the traffic at intersections if necessary but we were not on busy roads any way.

Fantastic tour with impeccable service! Thank you to the amazing tour guides who guided us through the villages and gave us an insight into the culture. We loved every minute and would highly recommend coming on this tour. In particular the electrical eBikes are amazing and the reason why we choose this tour. My 52 year old mother could enjoy using the electrical bike, in fact all of us did not pedal and used the electrical option.
Glasslugger (01/06/2017 03:20)
Recommend you do this. Helpful and knowledgable staff who made the whole experience enjoyable.
Ebikes were great & easy to use. You can coast uphill or enjoy the pedalling. Views stunning in places. Regular stops. Good photo opportunities.
Tania Kinal (21/04/2017 15:53)
the tour was great and the guide was super funny as well. definitely recomment it! ebike is amazing and if you are tired or a tad lazy to pedal, the button does the job for you!
MA Yee (19/04/2017 04:08)
Really great tour of the rice paddy fields and rice terrace. Tour guides were funny and informative and the ebikes were well maintained and fun to ride. Would definitely recommend ebikes tours!
Jennifer Crawford (16/02/2017 15:42)
My husband and I did the 3 - 6pm tour with eBikes and it was spectacular. Route is beautiful - through villages, exquisite rice farms with exceptional photo opportunities. A stop at a coffee roasting place, a simple but good dinner enhanced this fantastic trip. Majority of roads quiet, and eBikes has excellent safety systems. A guide in front and back, plus a vehicle. Guides speak excellent English, are knowledgeable and fun. Peddle as much as you like but pressing the button to go is great ! and you cover a bigger area. I've done some tours, and this is outstanding and highly recommended as a must do.

Two Mum and 4 teenagers had the best day with eBikes visiting rice paddy's, temple and coffee plantation and then a great lunch to finish off. The guides were so awesome, friendly, caring and put our safely first. We learnt so much about Bali village life from them, it really is a must to do!

I took the morning tour, and it was a blast. The e-bikes were a lot of fun to ride, I got to see places on the island I would not have known to go see. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and had a good sense of humour. They gave us a lot of insight into Balinese daily life. Would definitely recommend.

Hi, we booked this tour wanting something different when staying in Ubud. It was absolutely wonderful. The guides were fantastic, funny and very knowledgeable. Learning about the culture and travelling the same track as the movie was great.
The processes was seamless and the bikes were great. We felt a bit lazy when letting the bike do some of the work - but in the humid conditions it was a welcome relief.
We would not hesitate to recommend this bike tour.
A great way to enjoy the beauty of Ubud and surrounds.

This tour was one of the better ones we had in Bali. A very close and intimate look at life in rural Bali. The guides were very detailed in their explanations of things of interest and were very friendly and helpful overall. You do need basic cycling skills for this tour (just like you would for anywhere else) as the tracks can be narrow and a bit rough at times - but nothing that most people couldn't handle. Well worth it.
Nigel Peters (07/09/2016 07:02)
Great trip with helpful staff. Made sure we knew how to use the bikes before setting off (which are very easy to use). Had additional staff to make sure intersections / road crossings were easy and safe (and take additional photos). Goods paths through the ride fields and a fun day for all

Had a great time riding through the rice paddies. I'm pretty small (1m58) and the bike is pretty big so it wasn't always easy to manoeuver but it was still very nice to ride. The landscapes are breathtaking and the trip is very well organised, with stops to take pictures and get explanations along the way. Water and food are also provided. I was impressed by how the guides were always mindful of our security and well being. Totally worth it!

We were a group of 3 adult family, a total of 8 in the tour. We had a fantastic day. Betul and Ajus were very helpful. The ride was pleasant and where we stopped our guides gave us good local information and were able to answer our questions. I do believe you need to have some bike experience, not a high level, but to have ridden in recent times. The ride was great, through villages and paddy fields. 1 of the 3 of us did get sick after the evening meal at the local café, which was part of the tour, which we did attribute to this meal. Otherwise a great day.

Just enjoying delicious meal after the morning tour. Great, great, great! Driving the bikes is fun, the scenery through Ubuds surrounding landside is a must see. Lush greens, rice fields, the famous rice terraces of Tegalalang, cemetery and of course Tempel were included ;)
The bikes are in good condition. All safe and comfy to ride. Only little seetings could be done, but just what I see as bicycle mechanic. Nothing what risk your safety. At all the guides, we had 4 for 16 participants, are not only very friendly and knowledgeable, they also make sure all is safe. Stopping the traffic when passing main roads and make you aware if a tricky part is to pass (which there are just very few).
At the end also seeing and getting explained a place where they produce these expensive Luwak coffee. Pity to see the animals locked up, and kept only for luxury production of..uhm..normal coffee taste..we tried one cup. Was good, but not special.
We had a great time on that tour! Big thx to eBikes Bali!!

Highly recommended. Great way to get out of Ubud and see surrounding countryside including rice paddies, temple and coffee plantation. Electric bikes were easy to ride, guides were very friendly and informative. The afternoon was finished off with a lovely dinner at local Indonesian restaurant.

We had an excellent morning out with Ebikes Bali yesterday. Three guides came with us, Gading, Komang & Guna. Lots of information & frequent stops for photos. This company has quality bikes in different sizes & is well set up. Bliss not to have to pedal hard up the hills & freewheeling on the return journey was great! Lovely scenery all the way. We're a couple of reasonably fit seniors 74 & 69 - so glad we did this tour & we highly recommend it. Thanks guys!

We made a wunderfull afternoon trip with Komeng & Guna, (the best guides ever ).
They told us many things about the Balinesian culture. We ride trough sawahs, past some tempels and met some locals. At the end we got dinner at an authentic restaurant. We had a great time, highly recommend Ebikes when you are visiting Ubud.

Thank you so much to our friendly guides Guns and Gadink, we had the best time. The tour was easy to book from the website or just call and book. Equipped with helmets, water and the best thing ever, our Ebikes, we started our tour. Gadink in front, the three of us in the middle and Guns in the back. Gadink guided us through the not very busy traffic till we reached the rice fields. Being a humid day we just loved the help of the motor, we could have either both, motor and pedaling, motor or just pedaling. The scenery was just beautiful, we stopped at a temple, for photos, for a cold drink, rice fields, coffee plantation, cemetery and at the end for food. It was fantastic getting some insight information from our guides about customs and life of the people.
Great trip, worth every penny, we definitely recommend Ebikes to anyone visiting Ubud.

Different Approach, Great Experience!
The guys form eBikes recently started their company and are taking a different approach than all other bike tours. Instead of regular push bikes, they use electric bikes. These bikes allow you to drive different, exiting and beautiful routes. They don't just fill the day with visiting authentic villages, monkey forest etc., they offer a half day bike trip.
Small groups, two guides, you are in great hands. The lunch at the end of the tour is absolutely great, served in a local warung. You could just go to Tegalalang by car, but going their by bike offers you great sceneries. We value this tour as a must have in your explore Bali package!
Barry Chew (26/02/2016 03:33)
This tour was very well organized and the guides were knowledgeable. The highlight was the bikes themselves as they were easy to ride and made the trip less strenuous. I think the tour took us about 2.5 hours and we got to see many things including the famous Tegalalang rice terraces. It ended with a lunch which was quite good.
The group that I went with was small and that made it quite nice. We saw another tour with a lot of people and it looked a bit hectic.
Two thumbs up!
