It is hard to get a table without reservation. My first attempt, I came with a pair of sandals and shorts --no luck. The waiter looked at me from head to toe before saying that there's no table is available. Second time, tried to wear shoes. Still no luck. Third time, wore something more casual, and got in. Fine dining restaurant with great ambience --excellent for a romantic night or a gathering with family and friends. Adding 21% service and tax to the already pricey food can skyrocket the final bill pretty quickly. Despite the price, food was just okay --not very special-- either in size or in taste.

Romantic place!
The staff will treat you like a royal people.
The place is cozy and romantic with the river view.
They serve warm bread as the appetizer while you wait for your meal.
There is little bridge with lots of padlocks beside this restaurant.

The restaurant has a spectacular setting. Ask to dine in the restaurants lower levels where are you will have a spectacular view of the river valley and tropical jungle.
The food is excellent, beautifully prepared and presented. The menu is primarily Continental. The service is first class.
It’s a little pricey but it’s a very special. It may be one of your fondest Balinese dining memories.

This shop, restaurant and bar is in a fantastic setting on the edge of the main road in Ubud town centre. It has great views across the bridge and the wilds of the forest covered hillside. The food was spectacular. Presented brilliantly, packed with freshness and flavours and utterly delicious. There were also complimentary palate cleansers between courses. The staff were wonderfully attentive and described the ingredients and flavours of each dish as it was served.
This isn't something I'd say fits the budget of your average backpacker however for those without a budget, expect top notch service and food for approx. £50 for a pair (Inc. drinks).

Get your wallet out. This place is worth the spend. High end, impeccably presented and flavoured food, cooked to perfection. Overlooks the river, has a great view, and the service is unbelievable. If you want a fine dining experience on your holiday this is a must visit.

Tonight we had an exquisite dinner at Bridges in Ubud. The surrounds were breathtaking, enchanting, mystical and magical. We arrived and had a drink at the bar, then chaperoned upstairs once our table was available. Our waiter, Luis was a credit to the Balinese hospitality industry, college and the Bridges establishment, he has an infectious smile, a passion for excellence in dining, customer service and true to his culture and beliefs. His explanation of our chosen meals when brought to our table was unique and welcomed, it was lovely to have our meals explained to us, which were beautifully presented and were divine in taste.
To the Aussie owner from Byron Bay, your venue, service, menu and presentation is of superior standard and a credit to yourself and staff....extremely happy diners from Oz, we will return :-)

Great view, it is facing the river so you can get a new experience eating here. It’s fancy, One of the fine dining restaurant in ubud. I came here for coffee time. There are three mini desserts which all are very satisfying, especially the creme brulee. Service are great and friendly.

Very nice restaurant
Located at Campuhan road with an old bridge as their landmark and you can watch Campuhan river while you have your meals. This is one of the famous restaurant in Ubud. There's a parking area in front of the restaurant.
They served wine and food, good ones, so don't expect the average prices, but you'll satisfied for what you spend in this restaurant. Indeed you can have a romantic dinner in here too, maybe at night it's more excellent ambience. The food is good and delicious, served very well. Their service outstanding, very professional and well matter. Don't expect a big portion of meal, perhaps this is what fusion style is. The price? Well, not cheap but indeed what you paid is what you get....fair enough.
The interior was amazing, very well decorated with touch of Balinese influence. After having a meal, you can walk to the Campuhan bridge, where you can walk and find interesting monument with full of love locks hanging on it. The bad thing is, this bridge already wear out, need restoration immediately, maybe from the restaurant or from the government...so just watch out your step....

Wonderful food, wonderful service, wonderful location. Make sure to call then earlier and book the place on a terrace from where you can enjoy the richness of Balinese flora. All the dishes were simply amazing, Wellington highly recommended. Thank you for this great memory!

Wow. Fabulous here on Wednesday for cocktail evening. Just had a jalapeno margarita... best cocktail I think I ever had. And yummy nibbles here too if your not overly hungry

Amazing atmosphere no matter where you're seated. Do make a reservation and get there early to have wine and watch the sunset. Great with gluten-free and will bring you separate bread!
Nicole Simpson (05/08/2017 07:01)
Worth every penny. Upscale. Brilliant wine pairing. Some of the best food I've ever tasted.
Esin Gurcay (27/07/2017 07:50)
Lunch tasting menu is great to try Balinese dishes. We had it with dessert. Light and bright desserts were interesting and delicious. Definitely do try their cocktails and ask for recommendations. Great place to enjoy a peaceful and romantic lunch.

Romantic. Amazing service. Perched next to a gorge with a flowing river below, sounds of rushing water and sights of nature fill your ears and eyes as the kitchen delights you with fine dining fare. Take a date or go alone and enjoy a wonderful selection of wine as well. Excellent.

Amazing restaurant. Probably the best one around Ubud. Please have in mind a reservation is mandatory during the high season, since the place is always packed. The food is great and the atmosphere is very cozy. Definitely a must!
Michael Sy A Foek (27/05/2017 14:51)
I think this is a great old school restaurant. It's a little bit more expensive than the usual restaurants found in Bali and Ubud, but the atmosphere and service and quality of the food makes more than up for it. On most nights, this place is full and has a great vibe. It's located right besides a green canyon which adds to the charm. It's perfect for a romantic night out or just a dinner with friends or family. You can go Indonesian or Western at this place and from what I've tried it's all very good.

An amazing place and a must when in Ubud. Beautiful view and location. We had the tasting menu and it was amazing! Such a great way to sample everything on the menu and all of it was beautiful. Staff were very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The food was all so fresh and prefectly cooked. Perfect place to spend the night with a great range of unique cocktails and wonderful food.

I had no idea what to expect when I went in. The view from the bar was great. The wine was nice too. I didn't get an appetizer because I wasn't craving anything. BIG mistake! The Wellington was to die for. The bread was incredible. I had 3 bread rolls. The mushroom pate amuse bouche was incredible and the palate cleanser was delicious. Really a perfect place for romance and food.
James Koay (23/04/2017 10:56)
Love the food, the ambiance. A good place to relax after the money forest walk. Serve authentic Indonesian food. A bit pricey though.
Marilina Luna (18/04/2017 07:58)
Lovely scenery with fairly decent priced dishes. I ordered the duck variation which was paired with a potato souffle that was to die for. We got an amazing selection of breads to nibble on while we waited and were given a complimentary dessert at the end. Overall good experience. Wines by the glass weren't that great so beware of selections.
Nathan Taylor (11/04/2017 20:54)
The food... One word.. sublime. Staff are excellent and speak English very well. You can't go to Ubud without trying this place. Everything we are was excellent.
Tina Chen (11/04/2017 15:02)
We had Rijsttafel Indonesian set lunch today and it was very delicious. Good ambiance and service too. Price is very fair.
Andrew Taylor (16/02/2017 13:28)
Amazing view of the river and all the green flora from an awesome multi story venue.
The food and service is very up market, but the price is still modest for Australian standards. The most expensive main was $30AUD, but you wouldn't get anything like it for that price in Australia (remember that you're paying for the venue, view and service).
Nikolas Blem (11/02/2017 23:43)
The place is unique. Interior is a must see. Presentation of food is interesting, however he food looks better then its taste. Overall recommended especially for a romantic retreat or nice photos:)

We spent the final hours of 2016 here and it was quite enjoyable. Devine wine bar offered some sweet treats and good wine to bring in the New Year, the staff were friendly and it was a fun way to spend the final count down. Nothing cheap about this place, but it's sort of expected for a place that caters solely for tourists.
David O'Neil (14/12/2016 20:31)
Food is very nice and would recommend the pork dumplings. Very expensive compared to everywhere else. We stayed in 5* resort and ate in really nice places but prices were extreme.
Raditya Tantra (08/12/2016 14:13)
Food was amazing! From my appetizer, to my main course, to my dessert, every dish was absolutely exquisite! The complimentary treats offered between every course were also a nice touch! One of the best dining experiences you can have in Bali, and that's not an easy feat to accomplish! Well done bridges Bali!
John Butz (13/09/2016 16:45)
A very visually fantastic dining experience. The bar area overlooking the forrest coupled with the dining area overlooking the forrest and bridges sets a great landscape. A special thanks to the Sommelier who found the perfect French rose to compliment our meal.
Tom Nuss (06/09/2016 05:01)
Bit disappointing. I expected oustanding food, but the food, service and ambiance was just decent.
This wasn't our first choice to start with, but other restaurants were fully booked. Depening on what you are looking for, it appears there are better options in the surrounding area.
Tamás Boczkó (12/08/2016 23:25)
The whole experience was amazing! Fantastic stuff! Fantastic foods! Even th starters, the main foods etc.! Very cool wine selection with professional somelie ! And finally the suprise birthday dessert to my girlfriend with a secret gift was a really amazing! It was really easy to communicate this suprise with the stuff! Highly recommended!

Setting is wonderful especially the bar down stairs, service is good and food is decent but not sensational. Appetisers were better than the mains in my humble opinion. What really let the place down was the drinks - cocktails were same price as an appetiser and were so weak that I couldn't taste the alcohol. I complained and they added 2 drops of gin more which didn't change a thing. I found out they use only 50ml to 60ml Measurements for cocktails which is completely pointless and you may as well pay half and get a mock tail. The wine costs x2 more than the food and was just an average bottle of French red wine.

Great food! Especially the duck breast. I recommend couples to at least spend one time to visit Bridges, it is romantic really. I come here with my family and they are also happy with the food.

Love this place the food and the restaurant is awesome. Must come to this place if come to ubud
Richard Levy (28/04/2016 06:57)
Great service. Fantastic view. The full menu looked great. However we were on a limited set menu as part of our tour and I'd say this is not the place to do that because the choice was too limited. About the closest we came to fine dining in Bali but at fine dining prices.
ina ramadhani (10/01/2016 07:24)
Food and desserts yummy, bit over prices but its ok lah...
Wish they serve local traditional desert such as klepon, lupis, laklak
Great place for afternoon coffee and dinner
