There is a small sign next to a temple wall showing the direction of the Tukad Cepung Waterfall. There is an entrance fee counter but not sure how much the charge is. I reached there before 8am and it was closed at that time. It is about 5-10 minutes walk. Just follow the small water canal downstream and it will lead to the waterfall. The sun rays through the trees is beautiful. The experience of walking through the dark route to discover the waterfall is awesome. You can check the video uploaded for that. Managed to take a dip and enjoy the view. If you don't like crowds reach there early as I was the only one there at that time.

This waterfall is not my favourite. It is a little manufactured as the concrete structures used to create the effect are clear and obvious. Having said that, it is a beautiful experience- along the way down, you will likely see Balinese children frolicking about in the aqueduct likely built to feed the rice field surrounding. Well worth a quick visit.

I have seen a number of waterfalls but this is one of the most interesting as you stand in a cave with water gushing in. Need to be fit to hike down to the waterfall and then hike back up. Was it worth the effort? Definitely!

A 10-15 min walk with lots of stairs, we didn't think the trek was hard either direction but passed a few people who had to take a few rests. Well worth the 10k per person. Very beautiful. Like other comments, try to get there before or around 9am for better photos.

Nice falls. Not too far of a walk down to it. Entry fee was 10K per person. You walk through a small slot canyon to get to the falls. If crowded can take some time to get a nice photo. Nice place and not too far from Kuta (1.5 hours).

Beautiful place! Though the waterfall is not the biggest nor it has the strongest flow, the beauty lies in it coming through the cave hole from above, and allows you to get up close to the falls. To get here, it’s an easy 15mins walk + about 150 steps (quite steep though and do be careful if it rains).

Such a beautiful waterfall with nice clean water and inside a cave. Great for swimming. 10k per person for entry and the trail is nice the whole way. Becoming more popular so it might get crowded. Best bet to go in the early morning or late evening. No changing area except maybe behind a rock. My favorite falls on Bali.

Simply stunning waterfall! Big decent over insane high steps, but it's definitely worth it. When u reach the bottom, signs tell you to go left to the waterfall, but u should definitely take a peak to the right, for a beautifull authentic jungle experience. Not gonna place to many pictures, you just have to go check it out yourself.

It was absolutley stunning. The walk down consists of large steep and uneven steps with a lady selling drinks and snacks half way. At the most it only took 10-15min to reach the fall but due to my mass amount of photo taking it took longer ;)

The walk up will get u hot and bothered again so enjoy the time in the shaded cool water.

We went earlier in the day and there were'nt many people which was fantastic!

Magical place. Worth travelling there. Its a bit deep inside the village.

This was quite the adventure for our group of 15. It is work to get to the waterfall, through a lot of trails and steps, but the destination is worth it. Be sure to wear shoes with a good sole that you can get wet. You will want shoes at the Falls, where the bottom is quite rocky. It's not easy to take photos as the cave where the waterfall is situated is rather dark. Enjoy!

Diamond in the rough, a must see place - well worth the drive. Lots of steep stairs getting down. If you get there at the right time the light comes through beautifully through the leaves.

Secret waterfall. Nice view and you can walking to the waterfall with fresh air.

The waterfall is quite hidden, will need some effort because the route to reach the waterfall is moderate. A bit slippery route for sure. The shallow areas in the bottom of the waterfall will be a nice place to get yourself a picture.

Nice small waterfall. It's recommended to come here with friend. It's scare enough if you alone in waterfall area in gloomy semi cave/small canyon.

A hidden gem...must visit for nature lovers adventure seekers and obviously photo enthusiasts.Quite tiresome hike from parking lot..you have to step down many steep and high stairs...part of the track is covered with tropical forest..and the last part is through rocks and inside cave...so on returning back you have to climb up the same steep road and stairs...but after all these tiresome effort you will get the site of heaven...beautiful waterfall..shorts,sweat shirt and anti skid shoe must.Waterfall is particularly beautiful in early morning and that time the place is less crowded too.No entrance fee,but you have to give some donation..I paid 1 lakh IDR for 2 adults and 1 child. There are many sitting arrangements and few local restaurants all along the tracking path.

Stunning waterfall and the walk leading to it was even better. We went there around 11am and there were only a few other people there. Can't really swim as the water is quite shallow.

Collin Kempkes (15/06/2017 10:54)
Really nice and astounding waterfall, not very hard to get there, maybe around 10 minutes by walking but even the way is beautiful

Ridwan Hassen (07/04/2017 10:19)
The trip is worth it. Bring shoes that can get wet but have some grip. Semi rigorous trek, but it's not too hard.

Veronika Kütt (19/03/2017 00:25)
Beautiful waterfall. Go in the morning though as it is quite 'crowded' in the afternoon. Crowded means, like, 15 more people there at the time I have been with 15 Selfie-Sticks. Was a bit too much. So better go early and enjoy the waterfall by yourself!

One of the best trip.
From jimbaran is about 1.30 hours.
I drove a car in almost 60 - 80 km/hours.
When got to the gate, you guys need to donate some money. So it's almost free.

And then you need to walk down about 15 minutes.
After that you can take alot of photos and make a good one. Cheers

Very beautiful hidden waterfall! You have to walk in the wild and under rocks to get there. It makes the experience more magical. The waterfall is stunning and i recommend you to visit it. There is not enough water to swim, but the water falling from everywhere makes it chilly and nice 😀

A hidden jewel in Bali. A must do if you love nature. Need a bit of effort to get to the falls, but very worth to do.

Cool waterfall.. not extremely big and u dont have to hike for ages to get there (steep steps though). Ure not gonna swim in this place (too crowded and shallow water) and flip flops are fine too (u dont newd waterboots)

Tukad Cepung Waterfall is the hidden gem of Bali. Nestled away in the valley, there's a short hike to reach this special place. To reach this natural wonder is well worth the hike. Be prepared to get slightly wet or all wet if you want to stand under the waterfall. It completely took my breath and my words away standing in the cavern as the water flowed down from above. Please consider making a donation to support this place.

What clear water..so fresh!

Todd Briggs (02/09/2016 02:29)
Hard to get down to the waterfall but well worth the effort. Beautiful

Beautiful waterfall. The Best i've ever seen.

One of the most magical places we visited while staying in Ubud. About an hour from Ubud this is one place that is unspoiled at the time this is being written. A few people in the parking area leaving as we were arriving; a few coming down the trail as we were leaving the waterfall; and a few arriving in the parking area as we pulled out. Leave a donation, please, it goes to the maintenance of the trail.
