Such a calm and serene place. Enjoyed a lot with my family. Highly recommended for a family based vacation. Exceptional service by hotel staff. Private villas with private pools are the best part of staying here!

Amazing resort. We came here for our honeymoon and our villa was upgraded on arrival, free of charge. It's a beautiful place, the restaurant has fantastic free breakfast and afternoon tea options, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend for a relaxing and luxurious stay in Ubud.

Absolute paradise. Staff are incredibly friendly. Personal villas make you feel like royalty. Included breakfast is a la carte, making it a tad slower, but really excellently prepared. Will hope to come back again!

Lovely Hotel resort. The staff are really friendly and attention to detail is superb, the restaurant breakfast and evening meals are beautiful. Enjoyed our facilities at the villa and also the main infinity swimming pool. Would recommend to others.

Beautiful experience at Ubud hotel. They have amazing restaurant with a very good healing tea. I felt so peaceful at ubud resort. We were very happy with our villa. It had a beautiful pool with two beds outside. Just be little careful of the mosquitoes outside the room.

the staff are amazing. that's the only good thing about the place. villas are old and infested with insects. so good if you like those things on your vacation. I found it deserted and didn't come out of the villa after 6pm. it's a beautiful place, don't mistake me.. but I guess it's not for me. I like a few people around, a nice swimming pool...with some views. this place had none. even the swimming pool in the villa...we weren't comfortable using it. but one upside.. the frogs sing you to sleep :-) (and bad wifi BTW). so if you wanna get out of everything and be in your own world with your loved one.. perfect spot.

Beautiful resort in an amazing location. It is next to the Ubud market, monkey village, temples and more. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. Rooms are enormous. We went here for our honeymoon, so they provided rose petals on the bed, walkways and hot tub. please note that it is in the middle of the forest. Please have expectation of some bugs, ants mainly are a bit of a pain.

Amazing stay at this wonderful paradise for our honeymoon. The beautiful people of Ubud are so welcoming and friendly, hotel staff, food, spa everything was perfect.
Regular shuttle buses are also available to take you around to locations such as the Money Forest and Ubud Market which is very good to have. We will miss Ubud but we will return again very soon!

From the moment we arrived here, we felt completely welcomed and appreciated. The staff couldn't do enough to help us. They even let us check in early, recommended things to do including lots of things that were free. Our villa was incredible and we were welcomed with lots of decorations and fruit.

Location is nice as it is out of the busyness of central Ubud. The only downside is you have to walk on a busy road before there is a proper path and at night without a torch it's quite difficult to see the road edge but there is a shuttle bus every hour that takes you in to the centre and brings you back. You just need to wait at the sister hotel to be picked up for return journey. The rooms are very big and the private pool nice. A great hotel for honeymooners. The staff are very attentive and friendly. They go above and beyond to make you as comfortable and have everything you require. The food is expensive though and not as nice as I would have expected from a 5 star hotel.

Best Getaway! Perfect Service, extremely polite personell..every wish is granted, often you do not have to tell them what you want..they know it already.
Thr Hotel is very peaceful and romantic, perfectly located to reach ubud Center quickly.

My return visit to The Ubud Village Resort & Spa this year summed it all! There are many aspects of the hotel that made us came back for our wedding anniversary celebration - the ambience, the villa, the food, the warm hospitality and excellent staff services. We'll definitely come back next year!

Nice beautiful resort in an idyllic setting. Villas are huge and well maintained. Overall cleanliness is good too, although some furnishings are a bit old/worn. Service staff is attentive and thoughtful. For those who can't stand creepy crawlies, be warned there are some insects, ants and frogs around.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and we enjoyed our stay at the resort thoroughly..The resort was beautiful, calm with scenic view and very warm and helpful staff , who always had a smile on their face.i would recommend this resort to anyone coming to ubud. Its close to the city centre and shuttle service is excellent . I wish i had stayed longer to experience more if the resort.

Their foods are very delicious. Nice breakfast, Sweet free afternoon tea and the best dinner in the restaurant. Time goes slow so it is like our private resort.

Simply amazing. The breakfast choice was sublime! The staff were the most helpful and couldn't do more for us. Our room was slightly overwhelming...I did not want to leave the room!

One of the best hotel experiences we've had. The surroundinga are really beautiful and the service and breakfast were impeccable. There are some very minor details in the room that were becoming a little dated but this is nitpicking and the maturity of the place from the moss covered stones and high walled paths to the villa's were stunning.

Very relaxing, not crowded at all, perfect for romantic vacations.
The staff is very friendly.
The shuttle bus for the city center, the morning trekking and the morning yoga classes are complimentary services that we really enjoyed.

Ok hotel with beautiful grounds and the service is generally good - warm and friendly. However, we have stayed in better villa resorts.
We spent a lot of time in our dirty pool :) (it wouldn't flush out Bc there is a design flaw). Villa we were put in needs a facelift and the aircon wasn't working the entire time! Engineers were coming in and out trying to fix it (not exactly relaxing) and even brought in a mobile a/c blowing air around. We even tried to use the ceiling fan. At least the air was circulating but the room just wasn't cooling. No reaction from the front office when we provided the disappointing feedback for the sake of future guests.
Although location is excellent and there is transport to town and back from here, we would not come again b/c it wasn't worth the money.

It is our second time at the Ubud Village Resort & Spa. It is absolute bliss. The staff is extremely professional and friendly. They will do everything to accommodate one's specific needs. From romantic dinners in your own villa, to day spa facilities, breakfast and tea time overlooking the nearby rice fields, the Ubud Village Resort and Spa is the perfect Bali-Ubud experience. Their Angkul Angkul Restaurant serves a delicious variety of dishes, that cater to different palates with a mix of east-west flavours with a balinese twist.
I'm very happy with my second experience at the resort. I'm sure that it won't be my last time here!

Amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing! This hotel was spectacular, particularly from a hotelier and service perspective.
The rates are very reasonable, especially when you consider you're getting 3000+ sqft for a bedroom.
- Breakfast was part of our ritual here as it was so good
- The views are amazing wherever you look in this hotel
- The pool was a big plus as it was well kept and equipped with gorgeous views
- The spa is comforting and well-equipped
- The staff is super friendly
- The afternoon tea is a MUST (can't believe I just said that, but it's true)
- They offer free knock-off DVDs at the reception (ah, Indonesia)
- They also offer free shuttles to Ubud on the hour which is really convenient.
Overall I think the staff really makes it, it is an upscale resort and spa that I would recommend to everyone. One of my favorite hotel experience in years.
