I only visited The Royal Puta Maha. Through the entrance, you can see the side of a mountain as well as a cliff with a river running through the bottom. It was very beautiful and we also got some snacks while we were there.

Everything about this place is amazing!!! I can't give it 4 stars as we did find mold in the living room and blood on a towel. But those views... just breathtaking. Breakfast was the best part of the day with great food and amazing views...

The most luxurious experience ever...we booked the Royal Pool villa. The pool size was great - you could actually swim unlike other pool villas that I’ve stayed in. They need to improve on their service and concierge. We struggled with arrangements for our onwards trip to Gilis. Pita Maha staff weren’t very well informed and their suggestions actually gave us a very bad experience

Excellent villa! Large pool. Large bathroom. The massage was good. Beautiful scenery. Polite & helpful staff. Everyone is treated warm & special. They know what their guests' need, we amazed when we easily found an umbrella near the door when we wanted to go outside in a rainy day. The area is really large, like it has its own village. It has romantic ambiance in its every corner. It was great experience to spent 3 nights for our honeymoon here. Surely will come again someday. :)

A trip to Bali could not get accomplished without mentioning an amazing experience at Royal Pita Maha. One may really get the feeling of being a special guest at there property they treat you as one. Warm greetings, polite staff smiles on there faces. The hospitality they offer has its own special touch. The word Royal is justified with every actions in there treatment. Yes of course tasty food with Royal and exclusive taste was undoubtedly so delicious. Had really a great time there. Superb experience ❤️❤️❤️

Staff is extremely courteous. Great view and decent in-room dining. The only downside was that the bed sheets and curtains were not very clean. 4.5

Attended a wedding. Beautiful hotel, the grounds are majestic making it a village of its own. Very helpful staff, meticulously caring for the property and happiness of guests.

Amazing hotel villa!! The pictures do not do it justice. The place is so unassuming from the outside but from the moment you start the drjve up from the streets, you realize this place i grand. We took over an hour just to explore the grounds. Lots of outdoor walk paths; rice fields; lagoon; whitr water river, etc.

Excellent villa with private pool surrounded by exotic ancient forest. Very nice luxurious facility, most of all, kind staffs make you welcomed all the time. The small creatures residing inside your villa is a must-have experience about Bali.

this hotel is jaw dropping amazing it has to be seen to be believed the staff are incredible, and the surroundings rooms and service are second to none. Staying here was like a dream come true. Best hotel we have ever stayed in. the closest thing to heaven we have seen. Graham and Rachel Cheal New Zealand.

The hotel is roughly 10 minutes from downtown Ubud without traffic, which can occasionally back up. The shuttle downtown was timely and made getting around a breeze. The room and grounds were fantastic. Any reasonable person would be very pleased. Some areas near the river are still under construction or being renovated, but it doesn't detract from the overall ambiance of the grounds. The staff and service are what you would expect with the caliber of the resort. I would happily recommend The Royal Pita Maha to friends and family.

High luxury standard, a ferry tail environment, familiar and professional staff, your own luxury villa with private pool. The best deal for honeymooners. Your best and unforgettable holidays for sure! A must have thing to do on your bucket list.
VILLA / GUEST ROOMS
Our villa is a wonderful oasis of luxury, intimacy and comfort. Every detail, each corner is designed to make you happy and feel special. Every corner is perfectly clean, the sanatory facilities smell like flowers and are perfect clean and in best condition. Towels and the bed are perfectly clean, too. In your own bathroom you can choice by different soap smells. You have everything you might need. And a small hairdryer, too. (guests with very long hairs might need a more powerful one)
From the bathtub and from your bed you can see the forest and watch the sunset. The housekeeping will clean your room, change towels and fill up complementary water bottles twice a day. They prepare the mosquito net around the bed.
GASTRONOMY
First on arrival we ordered some ice cream to our villa. The so called "Assorted ice cream" was one of the best ice cream we ever had. It wasn't just some sorts of ice. It was a perfect combination of rosted almonds with delicious vannila cream and cream topped with perfect Baisé. Again you could see the perfection of the service in detail. So the deserts are really excellent.
The breakfast is mainly European. They have really delicious omelette and fluffy pancakes. There are some asian and Japanese breakfast items, too but just basic things and nothing really special or exceptional.
The lunch and dinner food is very good and clean, but not as good and exceptional as we had expected because of the overall high grade luxury standard of this hotel. The restaurant is very good compared to many other restaurants in Bali, but I think they could do this even better. The grilled meat menu's are their top products. And everything is affordable, so that you don't need to leave the restaurant for lunch or dinner. This fact maybe more important than a international star chef cook. We also had a in room dining event and the grilled steaks were really tender and delicious.
The restaurant is up on the mountain and is almost outside, like everything in bali. There is a roof but only one side walled. So there is no need for an air conditioning and you won't sweat or freeze either.
HONNEYMOON SPECIAL
For honneymoon the hotel makes up the room with flower leafs and several special presents as well as a free dinner or a free spa treatment, too. This hotel is really the best choice for honeymooners. In the villa and even on your private pool you feel very intimate. Because of the terrace architecture now one can look into your garden; except the monkeys on the opposite jungle 2 km far away 😀. You can order all breakfast/ lunch/ dinner or even a small desert to your hotel room without any extra charge!!! So that's why this hotel is the best choice for honeymooners as well. It's like you are the owner of your own villa.
MANAGEMENT / DUTY MANAGER:
The management is very friendly and really willing to make your stay perfect. Our special thanks go to Agung Sarjana and an woman from the front desc (she had braces). They have good manners, are respectful, empathic and really accommodating. They made everything for us to make our stay convenient. They really treated us like as we would have been their own family members. They help you in with any kind of problems: when you need transportation, touring tips, they help out with translation or phone calls, they even help you out when you need a doctor or any kind of medication.
LOBBY
The lobby is amazing. Words can not explain the great architecture, the wonderful statuettes and the whole balineese spirit. It is like a balineese point of interest itself.
SPA
The massage has been great. But the whole experience wasn't worth of approximately 85€. The spa area wasn't as unique and beautiful as the rest of the hotel was. The spa experience was really good, but not worth that price.

We were here for our wedding last weekend, we had the honey moon sweet being as its worth over $650 AUD per night we were disappointed in the bed having two single mattresses just pushed together. Spending lots of money for a wedding at that venue then having a bed that's meant to be a King matteress ruins the honey moon suit. We can't fault anything else the view is stunning and the breakfast is amazing!
