Truly a jewel in the jungle in a big old volcano crator. It was so awesome I didn't want to leave.

While there's great reasons to recommend this place, I also want to insure potential visitors know the drawbacks.
To better understand the drawbacks from my perspective, I was there alone, for 4 days.
For a single night or two most, I would give it 4-5 stars.
The good:
+ Great place, especially as a relaxing base while taking a tour to Mount Batur or as a romantic getaway.
+ The villas look and feel luxurious.
+ Service level is above and beyond!
+ WiFi included
+ Breakfast included
The bad:
- No hot water in villa shower after sundown
- Included breakfast was boring, low on nutrition and too small portions
- Food from the restaurant follow the same standard as the breakfast
- WiFi coverage is bad in the villas, to the point where devices will disconnect if you turn the wrong way. Internet speed is also too slow (peak speed of 1.6Mbit). This is a huge drawback, as there's little to no cell reception in the area (tested with both local and int SIM)
- Not enough to do. Once you've been swimming around a bit in the volcanic heated water, taken a tour around mount Batur, there's really nothing left. You can rent a bicycle or go canoeing (min 2 persons) or get a massage at the spa. That's it.
Hope someone finds this useful

This place is popularly known as Toya Devasya. It is a great place. After seeing the review(bad staff, toilet, etc) , i am a bit skeptical. So i do not expect anything. But when i am here, the place is quite good. It has several pools but the most favourite one is the pool with lake view.
The pool is filled with natural spring water(they say like that) but i think it is not a natural hot spring. Still, it is very good and my family like it.
The view is awesome. Enjoy the breezing wind while soaking in warm pool.
It also have spa&restaurant. The price is not expensive around Rp 20.000 -above
The entrance fee is Rp 60.000/person(for domestic visitor) and Rp 150.000/person(for foreigner)
You already get shampoo and soap. The toilet is clean, with shower too.
You can also lend locker(add IDR 20.000) and towel (add IDR 10.000)
For foreigner, you can enjoy your own pool with bar(maybe because you pay more)
Personally, i think this hot spring is better that hot spring next door because toya devasya has this infinity pool.
Hope this review can help you :)

Amazing way to relax after hiking Mt. Batur, this hot springs resort overlooks the lake and a volcano. It was such an amazing view with the natural landscapes surrounding us. Even better was to be floating in the hot spring water with a cool, fresh drink from the bar. Would definitely recommend doing this after a long hike!

Pretty cool hot springs. Still being built big a nice place to stop none the less. You can swim, get drinks and food or go for a massage. They provide towels and lockers with the admission ($15 cad I think). Pretty spectacular views!

The place was quite easy to find. Building was new and decorated with their signature purple color, sadly entrance was only available if you pay for the ticket (to swim and/or hotspring?), so we could only see the view from the lobby. The view was beautiful, but it's unfortunate that they won't allow people to come in for sightseeing.

I was so blessed to camp here at the edge of the lake with my yoga master (Bali Yoga Master) and a group of amazing Balinese people. I don't think I've ever seen so many stars, and the sound of the waves gently lapping the shore was a perfect lullaby.
Yoga at 6.30am, before the natural hot springs in the infinity pool looking out over the lake, stunning! Then a New Moon ceremony in the temple followed by ceremonial blessings in the holy hot springs. Such an authentic, spiritual experience. Loved every second. Thank you, Terima kasitt 😍🙏💞

Loved this place. Vibrant ambience and friendly people around. However the changing room and washroom facilities need to be improved.

Beautiful views of the lake and mountain but the facilities are not clean and it is full of flies. As much as I enjoyed the view the facilities made me feel disgusted. Food is not good either. 3 stars just for the view otherwise 0.

Staff were sweet and helpful, however the loud music makes you feel like your in a trashy bar. The food was dissapointing... industry style chicken that was incredibly dry and tasteless. Rice and veggies were cold. Ordered a ginger tea and came with no ginger... (Mostly water). Most expensive meal so far on our trip and worst. We will go to a local warung next time and avoid over priced poor quality food. Maybe we were fooled by the flashy resort style environment.

This is a lovely place to come for swimming as a solo traveller, with family or in a large group and as a couple. There is a separate area for large groups/families and couples and in both areas the pools are wonderful. The views from both are spectacular!!!
There are also different options for food, either ordering from a menu which has both small meals and larger options or a buffet style option.
I'd highly recommended coming here!!!

Great location with amazing views. The hot springs are just a few pools with heated water. There is an entrance fee to Mt. Batur area and then an entrance fee to the hot springs itself. Entrance fee includes towel and use of locker and shower facilities.

Fantastic hot water springs. Great views of Mt. Batur!

Good hot springs, can't speak for the rooms because i only come here on day trips, never spend the night. Food is ok and reasonably priced considering it's an attraction. But i have to agree with other reviewers that the music is too loud. Some music is fine, but it would be better if the volume was a little lower
Nicolas Makelberge (19/02/2017 23:32)
Blasting Justin Bieber music from a bar by the infinity-pool gives you a headache. Nothing like the Zen-like spa experience I was expecting.
Gus Ngurah (17/02/2017 00:06)
Came here to do a team building, swiming in hotspring pool and canoing, such a good place to have fun with good view. Friendly staff. The foods are good.
shinynova (02/01/2017 14:22)
Too commercialize, i doubt it is natural hot spring. Nice infinity pool, but no private showers. Outside tables and chairs are full of flies. Not worth the visit.
Nisita Marella (01/01/2017 00:47)
I am never coming back here again. Overpriced. Bad service. Food is awful. Only nice infinity pool. And a few staff thats quite helpful. The rest is just a terrible experience
Bart Klaassen (21/12/2016 09:00)
Do't go, the hotspring itself is nice but really overpriced. We paid 360.000 IDR for two persons. Locals pay a much lower price. The complex itself was under construction for a large part. A lot of flies, near the bar and at the tables. The staff was not really friendly and the food was not fresh. (accept for the springroll)

Wonderful place to visit as vacation. Awsome activity!
Tonny Setiawan (27/07/2016 11:43)
When I go there for lunch and thinking to use the hot pool, they're under renovation in the public pool, so everybody soaking in the other pool with a view and with an expensive fee. Very noisy and not calm at all.
The view from the pool is very nice, soaking in the hot water and you can view the Batur lake with a mountain background....
The food is average, but the price is bit expensive or very expensive? But maybe this is the decent restaurant in the area. Sure everything in here is bit over priced, but understanding the location is far from central town, they need to run the resort in the low or high season, maintain the attraction.....all need money, so if we think it's too expensive then leave it, or you just enjoy your visit.......
Maybe its good idea, you visit Trunyan early morning, then soaking in the hot pool of this resort, then eating lunch, then go back to where you belong.....

Dwiyan Pratiyo (22/05/2016 05:48)
Nice place to visit. They have a good facilities such as a hot spring straight to the lake of Batur, serving a great view to lake & mount Batur. This place also have a good camp optional for outbond and outdoor activities. The air is really cold, so you need to bring a jacket or sweater. The food option not recommended i thought, but overall this is one of a good option to put on your list destination in Bali :D

Experience the difference. Now become one of favorite tourist destination. Toya Devasya is having complete facilities for visitors: two big size lakeside hot spring water swimming pools, beside an Olympic pool and the other three small hot spring water pools; executive camping facilities with spring beds and blankets or bed covers; 13 executive villas, which all are facilitated with private pools; adventure activities such as cycling around the Batur lake, canoeing across the lake, and other facilities for water recreation, hiking or down hill, team building and temple and agriculture sight seeing and good restaurant and resto.
Ady Wijaya (08/09/2015 02:59)
Great location for family and couples. The room service can be as the other positive point. Few times coming here for 1 reason, the private pool. Its a pity this hotel has all the facilities but really poor maintenance and low level of services. Better update the conditions prior your booking to avoid a frustrated holiday.. Cheers
