Super delicious Tex-mex served here using fresh and locally sourced ingredients.
Everything is prepared well and is quick. They also offer Take-away and delivery

Very reasonable prices, good service, fresh and delicious food. Beef crispy tacos are simply awesome definitely better than the chicken ones, enchiladas were very good too with fresh guacamole and sour cream. The beers are ice cold, margaritas are average. Great experience all together!

Best taco place in Ubud! A little bit pricey but the portion and taste justify it, so overall a good value. Service was also quick and friendly. They also have vegan options if you're into it.

Tested twice. All the menu is fabulous. And not expensive. Service perfect. Fully recommended !

Flavours are good and portions are pretty big. Not in the main part of town so they don't get a lot of walk in traffic. Went here a couple of times whilst in Ubud. Had the 8 Layer burrito both times and was thoroughly impressed at the preparation and execution, would recommend.

I have been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in America, this place was just as good or better in regards to it's homemade style and flavor. Everything was also reasonably priced for the amount of food served.I highly recommend to anyone visiting and missing some good old Mexican food. Vegetarian friendly as well.

Standard Mexican selection of tacos, burritos, nachos etc which can be customised to order. The restaurant itself lacks some character but is clean and tidy. The burritos are perfectly tasty but not the best I've had in terms of depth of flavour and balancing of ingredients.

Good Mexican food at affordable prices. We visited their temporary location while the main site is being renovated. The guacamole was fresh but the nachos were slightly heavy. The fajita was extraordinary, as was the wet burrito and the 8 layer burrito. There soft tacos too were good albeit with a little g light on the meat. The service was friendly and the toilets were clean.

Now this place knows how to make Mexican food! Variety of options, cheap prices and tasty food. I literally have nothing to complain about.
You must get the nachos!!!

Not a bad Mexican restaurant for Indonesia. Would be 3 stars but where it's located should be taken into account. However, if you are in the mood for authentic Mexican or Mexican fusion, this is not the place for you. I would avoid the quesadillas, as when i had them they didn't really have a lot of flavour. My partner's tacos, on the other hand, were pretty good.

This was a great find! You would not imagine Mexican food in Bali to be as good as it was but it was thoroughly enjoyable. The food was reasonably priced but is seen as one of the more pricier options in Bali as it is designed to be more of a tourist friendly option. It is nice if you are craving Mexican food or simply want an alternative to the local cuisine. There is plenty of parking too and the staff are very friendly.

Discovered this place one evening the vegetarian restaurant I wanted to go to was closed already and this was one of the only places that was open. Didn't had big expectations, but wow was I surprised of what I got, and happy the other place was closed! Very good, very tasty and pretty authentic Mexican food, all dishes can be made vegetarian. Open kitchen, very clean. Prices are fair, staff is very friendly, will go back!

Classic Mexican, very tasty. Shrimp to recommend. Very fast service and we were much pleased. The drinks are not so much to cheer for so stick to beer.
Manny Sandhu (29/10/2017 02:17)
Decent. However. Found it not to be this large portion as the reviews. Very average size average priced
Good food and service however. Always seemed busy. Good sauces and smoothie choices.

This place offers very freshly made tacos. The only problem is it is small and always crowded and meal time. Prices are reasonable. The menu offers a nice variety. Wish we had been able to eat there more times.

10/10 on food served and staff service. Everyone very accommodating and friendly. Best Mexican in town, maybe even on the island. My only complaint is that they have no proper parking - just a tiny little walkway out front that fits one car and maybe a couple of bikes.
Tony Gentilcore (07/08/2017 06:20)
Super fresh and light ingredients combined in all the right ways. The food would hold its own in any California city. They even make their own tasty, but not too spicy, hot sauce. I'll also mention the tamarind margarita was refreshingly delicious and the WiFi was strong!

Cool restaurant in the middle of crowded area, sometimes it's so hard to find a parking spot, if you ride a car.
Satisfied your passion about Mexican food here, from Chips, Nachos etc to vegan choices. All the menu well prepared and delicious, the price is worthy and the service is good......wow!

Brilliant food, I've returned multiple times. Often fairly busy and can be hard to get a table but definitely worth the extra wait. Staff are friendly and helpful
Andrew Petrie (18/07/2017 12:36)
This place was busy but it's worth waiting for a table, it only took five minutes before we were seated.
We had beef nachos to start with tender chunks of beef. Then chicken tacos and enchilada fof main, really fresh and tasty.
The margaritas were good too ;)
Michael Bye (07/07/2017 05:54)
WOW!!
Taco casa was awesome. The Mexican was some of the best Mexican my partner and I have tasted. I loved the tacos and my parter would very highly recommend the chicken enchilada. Everything was reasonably priced and service was prompt. I loved how the menu even had photos to show what options were available.
I would recommend booking a table as venue is only quite small but very popular.
Overall I would highly recommend to visit Taco Casa for great food and a great experience.

Great food! Great experience! The soft tacos are delicious, try it with an add on of avocado! 😉
Rick James! Chatas (29/06/2017 08:33)
Ate here in Canggu and this one is definitely more busy, but the food is exactly the same, consistent and awesome. Loved coming here again while in town for the week. Chicken enchiladas were awesome.
Melanie Garrison (20/06/2017 13:24)
This was lierally the best Mexican food I've ever had in Asia. I was pleasantly surprised. We had tacos, a burrito, chips & guac, and a jug of sangria. Everything was great and the staff was friendly. Will go back again.
Lexmy (25/05/2017 02:22)
If you like Mexican food you should definitely go here! The wet burrito, quesedillas, and nachos were all delicious! Always very crowded though. Not a good place for a long dinner, but simply go for the food.
Spaghetti Hair (11/04/2017 05:10)
Great food with options for both vegetarian and non vegetarian people. Prices are reasonable and staff are really friendly and provide an excellent service.

When traveling to new places, I typically don't like to eat at the same places twice. Just because there's so many places to eat and so little time. However, we stayed in Ubud for five days and ate at Taco Casa twice. The first time we ate at Taco Casa I had their hard shell tacos (beef, shrimp, and chicken) and it was really tasty. Crunchy and so fresh! It came with sour cream, black beans, and their homemade red sauce is absolutely delicious. The second time we got their huge steak burritos... it was filled with meat, rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, and of course I poured their red sauce all over. If you're visiting Ubud, please go try this place. Surprisingly good Mexican food.
joanou deschenes (14/02/2017 12:53)
Peanut free kitchen. There is not a peanut on the menu at all. A little over priced but a nice feeling not to have to be too concerned about an allergy. They also say to ask them about your allergies on the menu and seem to actually understand when you tell them :) the food was also the best Mexican food we have had in our trip so far! Not to be compared to real Mexican food, but It tastes a lot more Mexican style than anything else we've tried
Jose Tenorio (10/02/2017 13:45)
I'm Mexican, so I was very skeptic about this place. However, my wife and I went there to had lunch today. I have to accept that this guys serve a really nice TEX-MEX food (is not real Mexican). My wife had tacos (the soft tacos were good, but the hard-shell was just ok) and I tried the Fajita (good taste, but the tortillas should be heated). The staff was very friendly. So if you feel like having some kind of "Mexican" food (with an Indonesian touch) in Ubud, Taco Casa is the right place!
I would also add more salsas options. They just have one bottled salsa which is not good.
Alex Downie (28/01/2017 11:55)
We had dinner at Taco Casa last night. Food was so fresh prepared in a kitchen in full view from the restaurant, very tasty and at a great price. If you love Mexican food you must visit and try, you will not be disappointed!
Kim Madsen (28/01/2017 07:51)
Honestly didn't think it was going to be a good idea to eat tacos in Bali but these were amazing. The best tacos I've had in Asia thus far...definitely worth checking out! Good prices and fresh food!
Gage Keenan (15/09/2016 06:53)
Wow. This would have to be some of the most amazing flavourful food I have ever had before. If you find there's a bit of a queue, it's for a good reason and totally worth the wait!
Piyush Patel (31/08/2016 12:41)
The food was excellent. Waited about 15 mins for a table of 5 but was advised of that beforehand. Great size portions! Friendly staff as well. No real desert menu but you won't need it!
Peter Tran (25/08/2016 13:14)
Very fresh. You can tell by the amount of staff and customers. Full house when my wife and I visited so get in early. Naked burrito and fajitas were great but for most westerners, meat content will not be enough. Still loved it. Pricey by indo standards. Naked burrito, Fajitas, tea and sparkling water came to $20aud. Must try at least once if you're eating indo food day in day out.
Jordan Oliver (19/08/2016 03:10)
The 5 layer burrito is huge and delicious. It is one of the best western meals we had and we went back twice. They even deliver. The price is a bit higher than more traditional local foods, but worth it for a big satisfying meal!
roland kamsika (01/08/2016 14:44)
You can get many different types of cuisine in Ubud, and most of it is very good. This mexican is no exception. Enjoyed every meal here. Classic Mexican food with great levels of spice - be careful!
Shannon Carper (07/06/2016 12:55)
Very delicious and authentic mexican. A little pricey by ubud standards but we'll worth it.
Ingrid Frey (20/05/2016 00:37)
Love, love, love Taco Casa! Ate lunch here 5 times in a row, never disappointed. Had enchiladas, wet burrito, and crunchy tacos (all beef). Beef marinated in seasoning, lots of guacamole, very filling. Classic margaritas made with lime juice, not sweet. Service is fast, sink to wash hands, bathroom ok, lots of fans, good atmosphere, and you can watch the kitchen make food. (For reference, American and visited May 2016.)
Daniel Slezak (26/04/2016 07:35)
The experiemce made me make 2nd or so review in 5 years. Have the Cheese Enchelladas with beef and you wont go anywhere else in Ubud. It was the best dish in Bali I had throughout. Servis great, professional, smiley. Top job whoever made this happen
Elise Mulford (17/03/2016 11:39)
Best Mexican food ever. Fajitas don't come premade so you make them yourself. Everything made in house and done right!
Octavian Ciubotariu (26/01/2016 02:55)
We were here back in 2013. The food here was excellent. We came here for dinner and I had the beef fajitas with the corn tacos and my partner had the vegetarian 8 layer burrito. My partner is vegetarian so she was very happy that all the meals had a vegetarian option. Both of our meals were amazing. Service was very fast even when it was busy. The restaurant is very clean and you can see the chefs prepare your food with the open kitchen. Everybody here was very friendly and they try to make sure your meal is the best. If you are in Ubud you must stop for lunch or dinner.
