Great place for relaxing and retreat. Quiet and peaceful. At night all you can here is the sounds of the insect in the forest. In the morning the you will here birds singing beautifully. Suprisingly bugs never became our problem considering it's in the forest. Staff's are very nice and accomodating as well. Foods are amazing. There are limited villa's so there's not a lot people. They also offer free transfer to ubud and back to hotel. It's cold at night and it's morning sunrise.

Nice place. Scenic mountain view cottages. Only bad part is ants are crawling on the decks and not much options for veg food.

Great romantic place. Recommended for honeymoon. The view is so fantastic! The service from the employees is good.
But at night its a little bit frightening for me, its so silent, we can hear the sound of crickets, birds etc..
The location is far from everywhere, no mini-market available near this area.
Road access to the hotel is verry narrow.. only 1 small car fits into the road, skilled driver is required :p

Lovely place in the middle of a village with such an amazing view! I would definitely recommend one day here, staff is courteous, very rustic feels in the villas, morning view and view from bathtub is so freaking amazing! However, vegetarian food is average and the rooms are very damp and everything gets wet if you don't switch on the air conditioner.

It doesn't look great from the outside, but the rooms are great, the view is exceptional, for the jungle like hill. You can enjoy it even lying in the bathtub. The one thing that make me one star less happy was the breakfast. We ordered Indonesian one and we've waited a long time for separate dishes, and a way too long for the last one - noodles. It took us 50 min, normally we need 20 min when we are in a hurry, and we were because of the driver waiting to take us on cycling trip. Also this last dish didn't smell too good, I've taken the risk to eat it (and survived), but my wife decided not to.

This villa actually good to stay, quiet and secluded, but sorry to say the room need to update and the hotel area less maintenance.

I stop there just for a breakfast and its an amazing beautiful place.. Food was good and not too pricey, considering the view you get.. There is a nice pool but they charge to get in and for the towels..lol..

The views are just amazing, set in the jungle-like hills, best views ever. Great if you're looking for a peaceful, quiet and romantic setting. Also appreciated that staff were happy to prepare an early breakfast for us as we needed to leave before normal breakfast time. On the downside: To get from our hut to the restaurant/reception/exit, we needed to climb a great number of steps as the huts are built on to a steep mountain. Although the location and views are awesome, the location of the resort is a bit in the middle of nowhere, with no restaurants or supermarkets within walking distance. Wasn't an issue for us as we were there with a rental scooter, but I can imagine if you don't have own transport, it feels a bit isolated. Also, because of the high altitude, it's usually a bit cooler than in the south of the island.

We love this place and had been back here for the third time. We love it because it is away from all the crowd. It is not far from Kintamani so expect a much cooler air and fresh compared to Ubud. This resort has only 10 villas, all are facing a valley. Expect the sound of nature like birds, cock crows, frogs, etc. The staff are friendly and eager to please. Value for money too, as it only costs USD 90 net. I would suggest to rent a car if you are on a Long stay. It takes about 30-40 minutes drive to Ubud town.

I was there in July 2014. Great and sincere service. The only thing which is both a pro and con of the place is that it is in a secluded area which takes a while to get to, but once you get there.. You literally can get away from the usual Bali experience. Also experienced the trek to their sacred fountain and had a great walk through the paddy fields and their temple.
