Incredible beauty and artist excellence that leads to sense of peace and wonder. A slice of heaven on Earth.

Nice enough spot. You don't need to pay entrance fee from what we could see. You can take some pics of the entrance, the walkway and side of temple. But nowhere could I see that you could go in at all. Apparently in the evening there are dances and that you might need to pay for.
It is right in between a Starbucks and Cafe Lotus. You can sit at the restaurant (Cafe Lotus) and have quite a nice view. But honestly the food wasn't that great for the prices. Have a coconut, enjoy the view and move on. The temple itself is pretty enough if you can get a good pic. But it seems to be the spot for tourists and locals to have Photoshoots. I assume due to no entrance fee.

The temple is very beautiful, classic balinese architecture, if you want to go in, just mind the custom that you have to abide by, they will provide sarong that you can borrow.

This may be my most favorite temple because of the water lilies. Its really a nice place and it's just in the middle of ubud just right beside ubud palace and ubud market. Theres also a nice coffee shop there.

A beautiful hindu temple both inside and outside with a lotus pond. surrounded by restaurants where you can have good food.

Behind the only Starbucks in Ubud is a magical oasis of serenity and Balinese architecture. A path flanked by lotus ponds leads you to an impressive example of an ornate kori agung gate. The kori agung gate, is a portal wide enough for only one person that leads to the inner sanctum of a pura. These gates have steps and a towering tiered roof. Pura means temple. Taman means park. And Saraswati is the Hindu goddess of knowledge and art.
Needless to say, this epic scenery is a perfect backdrop for wedding portraits, romantic dinners, and traditional dance performances.

Absolutely stunning entrance through the lotus pools. Didn't go inside the temple itself but took about 15 minutes just to photograph the pools. It was raining and there was hardly anyone there so that was a nice stroke of good luck. Most impressive sight in Ubud town.

Beautiful temple with lovely waterlilies. Good for a quick visit, but not worth the 80k entrance fee

Nice and peacefull place in the middle of Ubud, we liked it, but there are so so many better places on Bali, which worth visiting much more

This is one of the beautiful temples in Ubud and the highlight is the lotus pond in front of the temple. This temple belongs to the king of Ubid and is close to Ubid palace. Visit here in the day time, so that you can also see the lotus flowers.

A must visit place when in Ubud. Waterlillies pond is mesmerizing. Be sure to catch 7:30 pm show, but arrive early (1hour) to get cool seats.

The temple is tucked away behind a hotel and restaurant. The Lily pond with the impressive gate behind it is romantic at any time of the day.

Tucked away in the heart of bustling town, this quiet space provides a nice break from the fast-paced shopping surrounding it.

Very nice temple. Only one thing spoils this enviroment - Starbucks.
Ming Zhou (30/08/2016 14:53)
Never expect something so old and serene located right along the most busy street in ubud. It's a paradise. Book yourself a dinner place seating along the lotus pond for 7pm traditional Balinese performance. Magical and mysterious!
Deepu Vinod (14/06/2016 08:18)
A picturesque pathway over a lotus pond, leading up to the temple makes this compound stand out from numerous temples dotting Ubud. It is picture perfect and comically ironic, being practically attached to a Starbucks.
Vinod Kumar (13/06/2016 03:51)
Lovely place taken over by starbucks and another coffee shop.
Need traditional bali dress to enter inside. No entrance fee
Christoph Iwasjuta (23/05/2016 09:53)
Magic place hidden in the center of Ubud. Free access most of the time except for events. Can be closed for Dance events or shows. Beautiful at night as well!

We arrived after 5 so it was already close, but it turned to be perfect. Sunset made the temple really nice for pictures and there was no people around.
