Great Tuesday night Leong show. Very amazing expression of Balinese dance. Must see for those who want a greater appreciation for Bali.

Potentially amazing dance show, but to call it’s self traditional and then stop for Dalem to randomly start speaking English and wishing everyone a merry Christmas was just odd and disrespectful to the art form. As a professional musician this is high up on my to do list and with limited time in ubud obviously chose the wrong show!

You can make a great pura foto after you watch kecak dance, in additional you can also visit the tradition religion ceremony

Saw Kecak, Ramayana, and Fire Dance here. Great performance! There is adequate good seating, and you can see well from anywhere you sit. No need to go more than 15 min. before showtime. Wear lots of mosquito repellent! I did and still got bitten a couple of times through my denim jeans!

I had the privilege to join the sacred ceremony on the day before New Moon which also coincided with the first day of this temple's Odalan. My friend and the other foreign students from ISI Denpasar performed Gamelan at the temple, amazing!!! Highly recommend coming to this temple, I'm not sure how their own performances are as we weren't allowed to go into the main shrine (I think only Balinese were allowed that day), but come join a ceremony if you have a local friend! This temple also makes unique turmeric rice mixed with other herbs. We were told that this specific type of turmeric rice is only cooked in this temple. Tasty! If you come for a ceremony, not the regular tourist performance, then be sure to wear proper clothes, for women, you need kebaya!

A great visit. The vocal gamelan is really exciting. A really atmospheric performance. Well worth a visit.
