Great Cocktails, brilliant staff... We didn't eat here but had plenty of cocktails to tell you they are brilliant. Make a killer expresso Martini, has a strong battle with the most UK cocktail makers!
Well done! Very impressed!

The quality of food is very good. Everything was very nicely cooked. The smoothies were delicious & so were the soups. The restaurant has a nice overall ambience. The service was quick. The staff is polite & helpful. Will visit again on next trip to Bali.

Great location in Ubud, we stopped in after a big day. I had the selection of Tapas & partner had the chicken curry which he scoffed down. The fresh juices were the best! Service was great.

The food was delicious here! Though I had pasta & not a traditional Balinese meal. I got the pesto pasta which I enjoyed, but there was almost too much pesto. Keep in mind I've only had 1 or 2 pesto pasta dishes in my life so others may not find it authentic. I also got a spinach ravioli thing for my appetizer which was also good. I would come back here again.

Dinner was DELICIOUS. We had a starter of Cheese & Spinach wanton (cheese & spinach in pastry) & a Seafood Curry 2 share. Place has GOOD service & English is good here. Cosy, cute place overlooking the busy main road, so expect LOTS of scooters & cars, but that's the FUN in Bali!

Best experience for us to visit this place.
We have walked pass many restaurants and have stopped here. Staff very nice and friendly introduced her name and give us details of food very helpful. And they got free canapé for us and when the food served nothing to complain !! Taste so delicious as I'm the person who love to try many restaurants. Have to say it is the best restaurant that you have to try in Ubud. Price a bit high but compare to the taste and service you will got great experience back anyway.
Should try ! If you are there.
I want to go back one day. Amazing !!

The food was exceptional, but the portion sizes were slightly too small. The decor was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Lots of variety on the menu, and the cocktails were very unique. It's worth going to if you're not on a tight budget.

We went to this place for dinner after checking the reviews and were so disappointed :( we waited for an hour for ours meals: pasta, soup, salad, lumpias. It was the worst food I have tried I think in the last few years!!! The pasta was hard and tasted like (you know what) the soup was so sweet it's was like a liquid dessert and everything else was awful. To avoid disappointment and a terrible evening go somewhere else!!!!!!! Food is cheap but you get what you pay for.

They served a complimentary mini appetizer the moment they sat you down. Tapas is amazingly tasty - choice of 3/6/9/12 combination. I especially like the babi kecak(pork).
Service is exemplary; the table behind us was a family with a crying baby. One of their staff came over and offered assistance to pacify their baby while everyone gets to enjoy their dinner

Quick, friendly service. We were promptly greeted with a smile and seated overlooking the street, which allows for people watching between services. The budget-friendly menu didn't disappoint. The chicken satay and beef kabob were perfectly tender and tasty.

Nomad is a nice clean and comfortable restaurant but lacks ambience. The staff were very friendly and service was prompt. Our waitress made good recommendations and let us know about items that were sold out. The snapper was nice and cooked well, although I felt it needed something a little extra.
Overall, Nomad was pleasant but it wasn't a memorable experience.

Very nice ambience, but the restaurant is more style over substance. The second floor balcony overlooks the main street, a nice setting. I had chicken curry for dinner, which was flavorless. If you've had chicken curry anywhere else, you'll be disappointed. It's also way overpriced. If you want a nice place to hang out or have a drink, it's fine. Don't eat though.

Service was very prompt and efficient. The waitresses were very attentive and professional. The food on arrival was well presented and very tasty. We ordered the spring rolls in veggie and chicken and then the Nomad mie Goreng. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed this restaurant a lot. I can say we had the best dinner in Bali here. One of the hosts is also very nice, friendly and helpful.
I didn't give it 5 stars because the other host was quite rude and didn't let us in the restaurant once at noon. Because the waitresses are introducing themselves with western names which to my opinion is strange and useless. And finally because it is too touristy. And they are managing it that way. Apart from that - very convenient location and delicious food. Would recommend it.

Cozy open space on a very busy street. Excellent menu and food, friendly service. One of the best places to eat or stop for a drink that I found in Ubud.

Wasn't expecting much, we chose here to eat because we were tired of walking. Pleasantly surprised!

Awful cocktails. Don't be tricked by the happy hour. They use crappy. Local. Spirits and very bad juices /mixers.

I ate at nomad twice. The first time I ate chicken curry. Although it tasted wonderful, I had an awful stomachache afterwards. I gave it another shot because it has a great location and many positive reviews. I ordered the vegetarian club sandwich. It was pretty good. Overall I would not recommend due to the higher prices and average food.

Despite some poor reviews about the Butterfish on Trip Advisor, I was quite happy with the texture, taste and size of the portion. Service is a tad slow but the staff are courteous and friendly. Also tried the Arak, which was pleasantly tasty and DIDN'T make me blind. I suspect the stories of methanol poisoning are an urban myth. If you like to people watch this is a good place to rest, should you be lucky enough to be seated in front.

Service was pleasant but was slow and confused; the drinks came after the food; food was fine but unremarkable and the Balinese chicken curry gave me a bad stomach. The music was TERRIBLE- horrid breathy lounge versions of popular songs.

Great food for the price. Nice place to eat and watch the street crowds bussle by. Raspberry watermelon smoothie and the Nasi Goreng( chicken and shrimp fried rice) were super delicious.

Great value for money and more importantly very tasty good quality food. Will definitely coming back before we leave Ubud

Location is really nice, it was on the main road, service was good, food quality was great too. The food caters to foreign palate so some dishes are a bit bland but if you tell them to make it spicy, the food served is oh so good.
Hanny Kusumawati (03/09/2016 04:06)
A semi-fancy place for lunch or dinner. Usually busy with tourists. Select the 12 tapas should you like to taste various Balinese dishes. The tuna steak is good. May need reservations during weekends in the evening. Quite pricey for Ubud but food is good and the ambience is nice.

found a dead cockroach on the bottom of papaya salad. the manager told me that he wouldnt charge me for the salad. but what i needed was sincere apology. And sate and tuna steak wasnt great infact, papaya salad was good though it had dead roach

Very nice restraunt. Very highly recommended! Good price amazing food ! Had the tuna steak and blew my taste buds away was to die for. My wifr had home made pumpkin ravioli, she really enjoyed the pasta they make fresh daily.

A little classier atmosphere than a standard warung, but standard central ubud prices. Got the sate and it was tasty, good spot to people watch, always full and extensive menu

Good food, very friendly server, but avoid the table in front of or near of the kitchen door...the aroma of garbage, spoiled vegetable , blown occasionally by the wind is bad. The night we were there, the restaurant was full so no choice to get another table.

they serve local meals with different ways and you'll love it.

Reasonably priced. Great food. Fresh and clean atmosphere. My boyfriend is talking about going back to get his second hamburger for the day. I enjoyed my spring roll snack and martini. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu

very bad experience in point of teast and hospitality
lindis åse (05/07/2014 06:45)
OK. Pretty touristy and half-hearted service. I was there in the afternoon and just had coffee and a smoothie, - as the menu wasn't very extensive and didn't include any small and truly healthy alternatives, - which were average. The inside was quite dark, but then again, it was a grey and rainy day. Average prices.
Still, due to the very central location I came back a couple of days later to eat, and then the service was great and so was the food. They have a very creative twist to the local food. Well worthy of a second chance.
