I stayed three nights. Very picturesque. In a tiny village just out of Ubud.
The road getting there was very sketchy, with big holes dropping down to a canal underneath the road. The driver could barely get by. Good for motor scooters or walking, not cars.
The resort itself was beautiful. Lovely landscaping. Large comfortable rooms with air-conditioning. Each room is unique but has everything you need. The bathrooms were very large.
The kitchen served vegan. Very well done. I was with a group. They served us a breakfast and dinner buffet daily. The menu was varied and creative, tasty and full of local fruits and veggies. We got a fresh coconut and a green drink every day. Yum!

My family and I have traveled a lot - many different yoga retreats in many countries. My son, who is now 13, has been along to all of them. Yoga is about inclusiveness and spiritual work. I've never been to a retreat center where any child there was "bad" or "difficult". In fact, I've found that all the children I've encountered at retreats were some of the most grounded, easy to be around humans I've ever met. Any yoga retreat facility that does not welcome or allow children is, in my option, a center who has backward values and is not practicing any true form of yoga. Rather, these are facilities athat are very ego-based and out of touch with life & our next generation of young beings.
