The oldest warung in Bali. Deserves all of it's stars and attention. Multilevel, and each is beautifully and uniquely designed. Food was great, but it's rather pricey. So sad that this place doesn't seem to be able to compete with the new and hip restaurants in Ubud.

Highly recommended! Excellent place, very good Indonesian dishes. Lovely staff very kind even with tourist (which can be rare), passionate about their cuisine and history of Ubud. Ask for the lounge, you'll find a floor just for yourself, one table with nice view.

Im obsessed with their bebek betutu! Oh my, melting in my mouth! The waitresses very polite and attentive. Its rare for me as we are interracial couple. Most of the times I got treated less than my hubby. Especially in places packed with tourists. So its really big matter for me.
Great view, many sculptures and decorative things but doesn't feel crowded very balance very calming. Definitely a place to go when we coming back to Bali.

Murni's Warung exists since 1974 in Ubud and is still in good shape: Inviting clean cosy place, the interesting building clings to the abyss like the nest of a swallow. First thing people do when they enter: Go to the balcony and have a look down 3 storeys to the river. Good food and very friendly, patient service. Try Balinese food: The Bebek and Ayam Betutu are spicy and very tasty.
Try also coffee and the cakes.

A valley view restaurant with a relaxing ambience. The staffs were super friendly they wanna talk with you most of the time. The food is alright, not so special. But try their dessert!
I judge a café or restaurant by its toilet, if it's clean then I can safely assume that the kitchen area is clean as well. The toilet is a bit too small but quite clean. Not really comfortable for people with claustrophobic.

Good food, nice tiny restaurant close to a small forest. It's not too pricy. All you can ask for in Ubud for a quick and delicious bite.

The view is lovely, the staff friendly, but the food is dissapointing. Expensive for bali and the food was not as good as in other Warungs.

Love the quiet downstairs lounges with views of the valley . Comfy couches. Great food. We come here for lunch at least once every time we come to Ubud.

View is lovely but my meal was disappointing. There were three kinds of meat in the dish but they were all very dry and two were hard like they had been overcooked or left to dry out. I love medium spiced sambal in Indonesia but this was way too hot for me. My partner enjoyed her chicken soup. It was more expensive than the two local warungs I went to yesterday and loved and my meal was disappointing in comparison.

Was pretty disappointed based on all the reviews of fantastic food here. The view is definitely nice and service was good but the food was just ok, it was the only average meal we had in Bali.

We were all very happy ! Me and my boyfriend came last October and really love this restaurant and to ight we wanted to show it to my boyfriend's mother and her husband. They loved it too ! Food was great, desserts too, very good brownie and coconut cake !
Place is still lovely up the river, best is lowest level. And the decoration of the floors is very nice with Ganesh ...

Great location, beautiful down by the river. Ask for the terrace below. Enjoy the lovely food, atmosphere and cocktails (of which the only problem is what one to take!). Excellent service as well from the first restaurant in Ubud!

Nicest staff we have met. You immediately feel at home. Great food and drinks but a little pricey but the atmosphere makes totally up for it. WiFi is not that strong but I suggest you don't go to a place Munris for the WiFi...the yogurt might not meet European taste buds ^^ enjoy!

Food was extremely average considering the prices and has clearly been watered down for foreigners. Sambal chilli was not spicy at all!

Sulky and unpleasant service (very surprising for Bali, where service is almost always very pleasant and engaged). Food is average, especially considering quite high prices (especially given the name "Warung", which suggests rather simpler eateries).
Generally - a total disappointment. Maybe my hopes were too high after many positive comments here and on TripAdvisor.
On the positive side - the building itself is nice - hangs over the Campuhan gorge, providing a very interesting view. But it is not enough to make me go there again.

The service was good. The food was excellent, traditional but also had some influences of the owners. We sad on the top floor, which was nice, with a great view.

Very nice ambience. The usual menu -- signature dish is bebek/ayam bebutu, nasi campor, soto ayam ..... 3-4 storied, riverside dining. Will make it here again.

#lateposting: must make time to visit here whenever I'm in Ubud, Bali. The ambience of green Valley and river in the low level part of the warung gives peaceful feeling. Try bebek betutu (really slow cooked Duck in special sauce mixed of onions, chilli pepper, coconut milk and others).

Beautiful ambience, great menu and polite staff that don't pass comment on you in Balinese to their coworkers. They are very professional
