Only serve tasting menu, food from local and food from around the world. Tried both and both have their own impressive and disappointed one. Service was great but I can see it is better if you were white..... The manager kinda ignored us the whole time but only talking to the white ppl............

Most of the food was wonderful! Do not eat the pigeon or rabbit if you do not like gamey!! Everything else was great.

Amazing food experience. I took the 6 courses menu with wine pairing and I had a blast. A bit pricy for ubud but not for the overall experience. I recomend this place if you'd like to have a nice and romantic diner.

I am giving this restaurant 5 stars without a doubt. What a wonderful food experience in Ubud. Amazing friendly & super attentive staff. We had the 8 courses menu with Local Ingredients and it was absolutely out of this world. Every single dish was presented magnificently with very clever touches and proper introductions. The staff was very knowledgeable and professional.
Make sure you check out their breads, I have never had such delicious breads in Australia. I asked for more breads like 3 times.
Indeed, highly recommend and will for sure come back here when Im in Ubud next.

Five full stars with a + at the end. We tried the Indonesian 8 course taster which is truly delicious , varied , balanced and utterly remarkable. Unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before and a true assault of the culinary taste buds. Pricey but as expected for quality this high.

Amazing food experience. Loved the way they had a tray of local ingredients on the table that they refer to with each course that came. I took the "around the world set menu" and my boyfriend took the local set menu. We particularly loved the ceviche dish and the egg dish. But all the dishes were great.

Great setting, experience and food
From arrival to departure the experience was Michelin starred all over with friendly and subtle interactions with staff and seamless service. The food is excellent and they have two tasting menus (both available as 6 or 8 course options) - international style or local style. We had one of each (it's great that they let you split like this) and thought the local farmers menu was fractionally better but both were delicious with no courses which we didn't enjoy (which is a rarity as restaurants seek to push the boundaries more and more!). The drinks (especially the cocktails) were brilliant and there were lots that we wanted to try!
Thoroughly impressed and would return in s heartbeat!

Best meal of my life. It was a beautiful build up. The wine pairings were excellent. The curry leaf martini was a wowza! Cant wait to come back again.

We had the 8 course local farmers and the 6 course international between two of us. No wine pairing. Each course had its special twist! Also love the amuse bouche!

Just wow. Amazing food, service and setting. Bit pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

It was fabtastic from beginning to end. The service, staff knowledge, the food, the atmosphere. Everything! Definitely one of the best birthdays I have ever had.

Stunning food and beautiful location and ambience. A fantastic gastronomic experience that I'd highly recommend doing if staying in Ubud.

Made a reservation for 4 a day in advanced with no problem. Set menu courses with an option or "local cuisines" or "around the world cuisine" with 6 or 8 course options.
Ordered the local 8 course set menu at 1mil rupias. The food defined represents the local cuisine but with all the French influence.

The service was excellent. The food was beautifully prepared and presented, but the flavor combos weren't all that appetizing. We opted for the local flavors 6 course menu and had a couple of cocktails. A couple of the courses were very tasty, while others were average. For Bali it was very expensive costing over $200 USD for two people (no wine).

We had the local 8 course and international 6 course between both of us. Both with wine pairing. It was heavenly. Fully recommended for anyone going to Bali.
The restaurant had the middle of jungle look throughout-very unique. I also like how they make sure to have a backup dining room in case its raining (the backup dining room is always ready but not used unless it is).
The owner was so nice, he went and chatted with all the diners and explain some of the dishes.
Protip: the additional 2 local course wasn't worth it. It was nice but we feel that we would've been as happy without it :)

Absolutely hands down the best restaurant in Bali. From the attentive and sincere service staff, to the quaint dining area outside and most importantly the great food being served. Pics shown below are from the local produce menu. Highly recommend to make a trip down here.

Lovely staff and incredible food. We had the 6-course menu and enjoyed every bite. Well-crafted flavours and beautiful presentation. The premises are a beautiful experience, and dining outside under the trees added to the atmosphere. The most impressive element of the experience, however, was the staff. Well spoken explanations of the food and I enjoyed the encouragement to interact with the ingredients. My companion was feeling ill and the staff handled it professionally, while still allowing us the full experience with the meal. Even security staff were very friendly. I'd go back and would also recommend to friends.

Had the 8 course dinner selection and left very full! Food was great with many different flavors shown on a platter of ingredients that is visually shown and described as each dish is brought to you. Ingredients are very fresh. Dining time was close to three hours for us, so take timing into consideration. The restaurants will also close if it has too many canceled reservations, so be aware of this and call ahead even if you have already confirmed.

Excellent food put together with talent, effort and love. A real experience to remember. Definitely will come back when I'm in this part of the world again. What more can I say? It's now one of my favourite restaurants.

Outstanding gastronomic journey. The art of fine dining "a la Balinese" . Wonderful premium wines pairing option to accompany a 6 or 8 set menu. U won't regret it. Service is great, food surprising and fully-mastered. Worth the price. One of the top-two restaurants in indonesia.

A fantastic experience from the offset. We had the 8 course menu, and not a single dish wasn't to our liking. From the wagyu cone to the lovely petit fours we must say that this was truly a meal to remember. I don't think Bali has Michelin stars, but this place sits up there and would probably get two back in Europe. Lovely to see the chef come out at the end for a quick chat also. 5 stars.
John Butz (13/09/2016 16:54)
A truly fantastic culinary experience. We opted for the six course menu with premium wine paring as the regular wine paring seemed like more regional Balinese wines. We really enjoyed the staff explaining what went in to each meal through the ingredient basket as a centerpiece. A must do when you visit Bali.

Very elegant place. My dinning experience really amazing. Love all the dishes, wine and dessert. I know now why it's hard to get a reservation

If you want a Michellen hat 🎩 5 star food safari for a very affordable price then this is it. You can't get better than fusion Bali and French
Rik van Houwelingen (09/04/2016 13:42)
To expensive for the Quality of food. Intensive service
Ashu Chowdhry (09/09/2015 13:44)
Very expensive for what you get. The cocktails are watery, the food is not haute cuisine and the wines are okay.
Cannot recommend this place.

We visited Mozaic in Ubud for a special occasion with our daughter. The prix fixe menu is very generous with small portions that don't overdo, but are presented artfully. Each course gives you a sampling from local, vegetarian and meat and fish selections. My favorite part of the evening was the plate that was brought out early on to explain local ingredients that would be used in the cooking process. Top this off with a lovely green terrace with ambient light and you have a recipe for the perfect evening and a top notch dining experience!

Great food and service! However, the price is far too inflated and informative!!!!! Will not return based upon the price!!
