Nice place and nice owners and staff. Beautiful view of Batur Lake on one side and mt Batur on the other side. The restaurant on site was quite good also. The road to get to the hotel from the main road is absolutely horrible. Nobody seems to care about keeping it even somewhat driveable. Also the neighbors next to us got up at 3am for trekking and were incredibly loud shouting across the yard to us, however that’s not the hotel’s fault. I’d suggest that they strongly advise their guests to be quiet in the morning to respect other guests

The owner is nice and the place is clean, but paper thin walls have spoilt the impression. I had a feeling that I had the neighbors right in my room. It was impossible to sleep...

Clean, convenient for trekking to the mount Batur (volcan) Happy staff, spacious rooms, comfortable and good atmosphere, good food in a small restaurant. Close to the lake. Wifi is very slow.

I stayed at this place for two nights. Because I wanted to get away from the business of Ubud. And it was just the right place. Very peaceful and relaxing. The staff are great and service is good. Food is quite delicious though the cook tends to make it salty. The Batur mt. sunrise trekking is nice also but you have to be prepared for inhaling a lot of dust. One downside is that ther is nothing much to do in the village besides this trekking. I just walked around here and there and it was a nice opportunity to meet local people. Rooms at Mapa is really clean. The garden is beautiful with many flowers. I had a great stay.

A bit further down the road but worth it. Great hospitality. Staffs helped in arranging for the Mt. Batur trek. Food was delicious!

The view is very great. The food is ok here. The tour in this hotel is very nice. There three kind of the mountains hiking. The short one,the middle one, the long one.the price is 40k.45k.50k,you can pick the middle one, it will be good view, sunrise, but it much harder to climb on the volcano, and it's a little cold when you're climbing, the road is terrible,so it's a good way to take anything to keep your safe and warm.

This beautiful place is a little bit further down the road which is great as it offers that quiet rural setting. The staff here are lovely and helpful. We checked in a bit late but they were accomidating and helped arrange our hike early in the morning from our door step. The food here is very nice too. The local fish was very tasty, we had grilled and in a curry soup. Rooms were very comfortable and relaxing with a Hot bath and the sound of finches. April 2017 Jack and Ash

Nice and clean bungalows with great view on Batur. The owner can arrange Batur climbing, but be ready to negociate the price. Departure straight from Mapa Lake

Extremely clean grounds and rooms. Staff is very friendly and honest. Slightly further away from the main town, but very close to the Mt. Batur trailhead. Highly recommend this place!

Super friendly owners, great Balinese cuisine. Room a bit outdated, bathrooms needs renowating (loose tabs etc). Lots of insect. Good for a night or two in order to trekk Mt Batur.

Simple but genuine. I loved the place. Book room with lake view and have breakfast on your veranda. Friendly staff, lovely place to stay.

Adequate accommodation before our trek up Mt Batur. Breakfast was Ok. The view of the lake and vocano was somewhat obstructed but still picturesque.
Fairly basic accommodation, similar to some homestays we've stayed in. The price was quite high for this level of accommodation. However there aren't many options in the Kintamani area. It felt understaffed, at times there was no one in the office with no means of assistance. The room lacked aircon, however we found Kintamani cooler than some other places we stayed.

Very nice place:) the territory is green and beautiful, the rooms are neat, hot water in the shower, real bath. No aircon or fan but it was not hot that's why we didn't need it. Be ready for Muslim singing:) the mosque is nearby. The staff is very friendly. Welcome drink included, water in the room, but if you want some tea you have to go to the canteen two steps outside:) everything is close. But I can add that at Puri Bening Lake Front Hotel the view on the lake is better (from the second floor):) oh! The wi-if is really slow. But the territory again is pleasant, good for the kids.
