Some hotels are worth a stay when you’re already close. Luxe is without question worth a dedicated trip. Owned by a lovely couple, Grace and Paul, as well as their sweet pupper, Abby , Luxe offers peace, love and kindness with unparalleled friendly service.
The hotel is small, though incredibly well and gorgeously built. Surrounded by beautiful rice patties on a path which is too small for any cars. And the restaurant! Possibly the best steak (get the wagyu) we’ve ever tasted.
We’ve stayed in many hotels and villas across Bali and Lombok. Some of the most expensive (Hanging Gardens, Alila, etc), as well as many reasonably priced. Luxe is without question our favorite of any we’ve enjoyed. Beautiful, simple, peaceful, elegant, fantastic service, reasonably priced for this level of quality, and most importantly, wonderful owners and staff who take pride in making sure you are always happy and cared for.
We will come back!

Great vegan options for breakfast and dinner, beautiful setting, peaceful, clean rooms, incredible staff, free motorcycle ride to Starbucks in ubud, they provided cell phone to use, Paul and concierge were incredible.

Charming little hotel/restaurant a little of the beaten track. You either need to walk a bit or call the place for a free pickup. The walk is beautiful and give you a chance to see the local Ubud area. The free pickup is done by scooter since the road to Luxe is very narrow. Both the food and the 4 suites are very recommendable.

Staff goes the extra mile, no detail left untouched, excellent food, feels like 'home' with superb location in Ubud, close city center but in rice fields, calm and serene.

Everything was amazing. Paul and Grace have done an absolutely incredible job at building world-class accommodations in Ubud. I've stayed at a lot of places throughout the world, and this is absolutely among the top of the list. If you're reading this - thank you.
We literally stumbled into Luxe Villas on a hike and were shown around by Paul. Not at all pretentious and very welcoming, it felt like home from the get-go. We ended up booking the Sky Suite the very next day.
The Sky Suite Penthouse we booked was like no other place I've ever stayed. The room, itself, was spectacular. Extremely spacious, high-quality furniture (that bed is awesome), stellar bathroom, and breathtaking views of the rice paddies are just the start. The personal sky terrace was unbelievable. Super discreet, super comfortable, and super amazing. I'm not sure I can describe quite how awesome it was.
The food was great. Most luxury hotels I've stayed in exaggerate the quality of the food (not to mention the prices), but this wasn't at all the case with Luxe. The food arrived fresh and delicious every time. High tea is also a tradition we'll carry with us for some time.
The staff also exceeded any expectations we had. Always smiling, a pleasure to speak with (their English is super impressive), and always accommodating.
While Luxe Villas is a (doable) walk from the main road, we loved the Vespa rides to and from.
The entire facility runs on filtered water. After some time traveling in not-so-clean locations, this was a really unexpected positive.

We paced by and asked for directions, they where really helpful and great guides of ubud.
Next time we would stay there.

Orchid Villas West.. Overlooking the rice fields, a pleasant 10 minute walk to centre of town. The owners are most accommodating and helpful to make your stay even more enjoyable. Can't be beat!
