Basic lunch place. Burgers and food alike. Small shop and can get quite busy. Since they also sell fresh meat, I would think that their burgers are also fresh --and it seems like the case. A bit pricey (burgers about 100k).

Good food, quality is reflected in the price but definitely worth it! Not a good place for vegetarians..

The branding is cool, but the food is underwhelming. To be fair, we didn't try the beef burgers, which is what the place sells itself on. But the chicken burger and prawn hot dog were both pretty poor. Bread was dry and the sauces tasted like cheap supermarket brand stuff.
The vibe is cool though and the service was friendly. Price wasn't too unreasonable for Western food in Ubud, but you can get better value elsewhere.

We had the chicken burger and the prawn hotdog. The texture of both was pretty bad and the flavours nothing special. Fries were good. Will go back and try beef and pork dishes as perhaps they are better. Super friendly staff, great decor and good ambiance.

Eat at Locovore for plates of art, eat at Locovore To Go to see what a pro chef and cooking team can do when they turn their hand to simple deli classics. Great soups, salads, burgers, fries and sandwiches and mostly western food.

Fantastic burger, cooked to perfection. The fries was really good, but be aware it’s cooked in pig fat.
Coffee was awesome as well!

If you can’t get reservations at Locavore’s main restaraunt go here for a quick bite. Small meat focused dishes and tasty fruit smoothies make this an enjoyable lunch time treat. The place is small so try to go on off hours to get a table. Locally sourced but not local cuisine with a focus on pressed sandwiches.

Pretty fancy place.. nice and modern interiors. The service is impeccable, very professional yet friendly. There are a good number of options to choose from. The food is very well presented and tastes good. The only drawback is probably the pricing, for Bali standards its a bit on the high side.

A very trendy little breakfast and lunch spot, every menu item looked absolutely delicious! A real mixture of Asian flavours and European cafe culture...
I loved the details in the decor, furnishings and food selection. It really gives the impression that a lot of thought has gone into things like glasses, wine list and so on. See also, the full restaurant (Lochavore) on the same road.

First time here and instantly fell in love with the foods. Especially their triple-cooked fries. Seriously, you have to visit it while you're in Ubud.

A welcome reprieve from the overpriced, tofu-toting veganite chow houses, Locavore is satisfying, healthy and offers comfort food with a sophisticated umami palate.
For breakfast, we ordered the Benedict and breakfast burger....top notch!
This place is relaxed like your favorite coffee shop, the staff is friendly and informative, and the food is five star.

We came in for a late breakfast. Started off with a pretty good flat white and then got some sourdough and passion fruit jam on the house. Very yum.
We ordered the granola, egg benedict and breakfast burger. The eggs Benedict were fantastic and the fries were amazing - very different from all the other ones I have had before. The burger was decent but lacked the something special.
Service was quick and friendly. Overall we paid around 350k

I was there to satisfy my graving for a decent burger. When the order arrived I was very optimistic because it looked delicious. But I got disappointed. The patty was tasteless, actually, I almost didn’t taste it at all. The ketchup and the bun dominated everything. It was not really bad but not good either. Then I considered to order an espresso because the bar was well equipped. But I refrained from it when I saw both portafilters in the sink (and not in the grouphead to keep them hot). Otherwise, the restaurant looks stylish and clean and the people are nice.

Ordered the pork sausage and fries, very tasty and large portions. It's slightly expensive for Bali but this is a cool little place and worth a visit. They also offered 'Stark' Wheat and Dark beer (only 41,000).

Really nice sandwich and service. However it could improve in price los compared to others. It is worth it. Pulled pork sandwich
Truman Burger (03/08/2017 10:20)
I had the burger, which seemed good according to the reviews. It was, but for 151k, I expected it to blow me away. It didn't, it was maybe slightly above average, but nowhere near worth that price. Staff never checked on the table either. Very disappointed!

Hamburger = super delicious. Creme Brule = super delicious. Service = fast and courteous.

A tasty menu for something relatively simple and easy. Great food.
Chris Van Damme (07/06/2017 12:22)
Transformed a Hamburger into an other dimension. Its not a local cuisine, but altogether amazing. French fries (Belgische friet) of high level. Must think on recipe of Sergio Hermans.

I think this place is fantastic. In my opinion, one of the best little deli's to have lunch at in Ubud. During our short trip in Ubud we went here a bunch of times to try different sandwiches. We had the Reuben, Cubanos, the pulled pork sandwich, and a daily special with duck sausage. All were tasty and delicious. The sides are great too and the place is easy to find. I'd also recommend the daily fruit juices. This is definitely a restaurant I'd consider a must when in Ubud and in need of lunch.

Beautifully presented creative food! We stumbled upon this little gem one day while walking around ubud and we're quite pleased because Locavore the flagship restaurant had been full.
This place defiantly lives up to the hype.
My husband had a prawn hot dog in a brioche bun and I had the duck salad.
Friendly cheerful staff and speedy service.

Amazing food but space is too small and crowded..
kevin huddleston (08/04/2017 06:55)
Sweet little cafe with excellent bites and good service. Definitely worth a visit for breakfast or lunch. Try the Cubanos toasted sandwich.

I've been to this place several times over a few months. Cappuccino with coconut milk is nice, but tastes even better with regular milk. Food has consistently been very good, as well as the service from the friendly staff.
Asma Hinawi (24/02/2017 06:45)
This place is amazing full if flavours. It's a must to try
I had the chicken burger you will never regret it if you are fried chicken lover. The french fries is out of this world. We also got the lemon grass green tea it was so refreshing asking with the garden salad
They also have butter biscuits you definitely must try it
Over all it cost us around 300 Rp. It is a bit over rated but definitely worth it

Amazing food, fresh bread and lovely service. A must when you come to Ubud for breakfast or lunch - the pulled pork will make you very happy!

Great burgers and fries if you wanna cheat on your vegetarian diet in Ubud 😂
Mikiko Hiroi (23/06/2016 13:32)
One of our Indonesian friends recommended this restaurant. All meals were amazing, very creative and unique. We had the 5 course meals for lunch. Though, with the extra dishes it was more like 10! For dessert, we had 4 different dishes! You'll definitely need to make a reservation as early as possible for both lunch and dinner.
Jack Eastes (01/09/2016 08:04)
Delicious, easy to get in to, and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend their juices and teas. Would return in a heartbeat.

The best upscale dining in bali!! The food is just amazing, from the appetizers to the desserts my friends and I can't stop 'wow'ing. We got the 7 course menu and we left abit too full because on the interval of the course there are alot of small bites. Better come here hungry. The only downside is we have trouble finding space to park our car, but not a problem if you go by bike.
Roberto Serra (30/05/2016 20:01)
Incredible experience, some of the best food I ever had in my life. We got the 7 courses menu with the drinks. Each one better than the other. Money best spent, recommended
Tricia Fallows (26/04/2016 23:28)
It is local luxury. Every course was divine. Great service and a beautiful dining experience. In my opinion it was up their with Noma!

Amazing food and service. Couldn't fault anything. Really strange mixes of food and cocktails but it really works. Top marks to the chefs
Wai Keong Lock (29/03/2016 15:14)
Amazing local place. Every dish is done to a very high standard. Not your standard fare, definitely worth coming at least once when you are in Ubud. Check out the food photos. Highly recommended.

Exceptional. Excellent skills and imagination from the chefs meet awesome ingredients meet great service. No wonder they were among Asia's Best 50 Restaurant in 2016. Even from the amuse bouche they had won me over. That happen at the tomato consomme to be exact. I recommend!
