Fantastic! Amazing! Words like this still don't do it justice!! The cocktail... Martini Express was outstanding! Tasty and WOW! The food (mushroom bruschetta), steak and pork tacos were outstanding! Rich in flavours that just work!
Well done! Fab food! Chefs should be proud!

Must try truffle shitake risotto. Great fusion East-meet-West food.

The Nori Tacos with prawns, washed down with a super refreshing homemade ginger ale. Too good to go past. Shhh! Don't tell anyone. ;-)

Tapas style resto in Ubud , hard to find.
Tried the platter, so many tasty treats.
Service good also.

This place is a hidden gem! Yummy bites, killer sangria. Also check out their DJ schedule for cool tunes.

Amazing and very tasty food. The place looks very simple but don't be fooled, the chef knows his job! The dessert platter was absolutely delicious with different textures and tastes!

We shared the veggie platter with some of the starters as a tapas style dinner... everything was delicious! Honestly best vegetarian food we've had in Bali!

Surroundings here not for everybody. Quite grim interior design! We arrived at 9, it was quite empty. We tried the vegetarian platter. Beautiful! Then the chocolate mousse also really lovely. Good value for money.

Holy hell. This is good food. An unsuspecting place with heaps of flavour!
The vegetarian mezze is super good 👌🏼

We like the creativity of the food, excellent taste and generous portion. We weee not hungry so we didn't order a lot. We had lamb rump and caprese salad. Lamb was tender and tasty and the combination of salad with lamb, was very good. Caprese salad has crackers in between mozzarella and tomatoes.
We think it will be better if the menu has some pictures particularly on the Japanese items, which we were not familiar with. Also limited item on the menu. But the real issue is that this restaurant allow smoking. With such a small restaurant, soon the smoke filled the entire place and we have to go right after the meal.

Best Dessert in Ubud so far. It was absolutlely incredible! Try the dessert plattern it's a bit of all desserts and enaugh for two people. Everytime again.
(Main course was delicious as well but the dessert was stunning and a real surprise)

This was a really cool place. If you're from Melbourne you might think that it could fit right in with the bars and restaurants in Fitzroy/Collingwood. The arancini balls were super delicious and the Parmesan/truffle fries were yum yum yum. Big platter also great too 👍🏻only thing that was a bit disappointing was that you could smoke inside and there is no outside area or place to get away from it because it's small. A whole bunch of people came in towards the end and most of them were smoking so we left.

Best food I ate during my stay in Ubud. Fantastic cocktails, amazing staff and relaxed and friendly vibe. Highly recommend the platter and all the desserts were incredible. Would highly recommend.

The big platter was excellent and very filling - share with four as starter but the ribs on pate? Awful. 2 ribs and a overwhelming pate.
Don't order wine by the glass, the volume changes from order to order.
Service was friendly and helpful but it is expensive for what it is.
Worth going? No
Cost: Expensive for type of venue and quality of food. Much better value and surroundings to be had in Ubud.

Amazing food and atmosphere . We would come back here time and time again and would highly recommend Laramona to friends and family that travel to Bali 👍Drinks were on point too

Absolutely sensational food! There is so much thought put into their menu and the food pairings they offer. Everything is cooked, seasoned and presented to an excellent standard. Nice chilled dark atmosphere and also good drink options.

We wandered in early evening and had a fantastic time. The food is amazing and very innovative. It is a must try whilst in Ubud. Best tapas. We will be back.

Just to cut to the chase: this place is fantastic! I came in for a light dinner and was not disappointed in the least.
The Blue Cheese Bruschetta I had was on the salty side, but simply changing the type or amount of blue cheese you put in the dish would cut back the salt levels and make it mind-blowingly good.
Also had the Paté with Maple Fry Bread. Amazing stuff. Pure and clean Paté with a hint of Cognac. A classic combination spread thinly on a square plate, dotted with prunes, apricots and coriander. The fruit cut through the richness of the Paté beautifuly, and the slight sweetness of the bread was a perfect accompaniment.
Atmosphere was great considering I arrived rather early and the staff are fantastic to boot. The entrance is a little hard to find but, if you're in Ubud, this is a definite must eat.

Some of the best tapas and small plates in Ubud. The atmosphere is hip and often times you will find a DJ playing.

Hands down. One of the best place in Ubud. Be prepared to get blown away by amazing array of fusion foods

Superb food, nice eclectic vibe. The chef explained to us about the food we're about to eat. Vegetarian option available, too.

Top notch food, lots of small wonderful dishes. The place is small and feels more like a bar than a splendid place for dinner. But if you want "fine dining" this is not the place for you.

Great place, fish and prawn tacos were both delicious. Good drinks and wifi too!

Feeling like a local
A little nook in the wall where the grungetastic meets the exquisite. Laramona's atmosphere and vibe and mix poetically with it's devine cuisine.
Vegetarian and gluten free folk will leave with happy bellies, hearts and tastebuds. Try the lychee cocktails and be sure to get more than one serve of the the blue cheese aranchini, they are too tasty to share. Laramona feels like a home away from home and is my favourite place in Ubud.
kikyreski (13/05/2016 07:14)
Prawn taco is a must try one on the menu and don't forget to have red sangria with it. Soooo worth it. The owners are super cool!. They just got it sorted it ehhh!. If you're in Ubud you should go there and try all the food and the drinkss

The food may be good, however I cannot guarantee since my partner and I ending up walking out after 10 minutes. The interior is beyond basic, with no windows or atmosphere, and is filled with shirtless hippies and what looked like band members sitting on their MacBooks in the corners.
If you want good food then maybe this place is for you... but if you want a nice dining experience then it most certainly isn't.

Great little spot! If you get tired of nasi goreng and curry it's definitely worth a try. You'll pay a bit extra but you'll get your moneys worth.

Great atmospheric place, nice music, impromptu fun and friendly cool people. I walked in here because I heard nice music playing, ended up staying for hours and met some awesome folks!

Amazing food. Very interesting take on tapas -
the sharing platter is a varied delight. The garlic confit and miso hummus particularly good. And the tomato bruschetta was the freshest thing we'd eaten in days.
