Wonderful time here! A driver picks you up from the hotel and brings you to a local market to tell you about the different foods and spices. Then takes you to an outside kitchen where our teacher taught us many different Balinese dishes.
Our guy was funny, friendly and very helpful in creating culinary delights. The owner even bought a cake and sang to me for my birthday (completely unexpected and very thoughtful).
They give you the recipes to take home with you afterwards so you can recreate the food at home. Pro tip, eat a small breakfast as you'll be eating a lot for lunch, and bring a reusable container if you can't finish you can take the rest back with you to avoid waste.

Personal muy amable y muy buenas explicaciones del energético profesor Made. La limpieza es sobresaliente, tanto como la calidad de los productos. Clase totalmente recomendada para aprender sobre la cultura de Bali!

Very kind people, great opulent menu, good explanation, you really cook yourself and you have to eat it, too 😋learn about fruits, vegetables and spices. Ketut is a very good cook and teacher. Highly recommend!

The nicest chef! Very passionate about food and Mr.Ketut is so funny! Loved his energy. They pick you up from your hotel and take you to local market where you are taught about the local spices. You are then taken back to the school where you are given aprons, and a station between 2 or your own if you are alone with help from the assistants.
The whole experience was so interactive and inspiring. The menu is vast and varied making about 5 dishes. So much delicious food!! You can take away if you wish. I have done the 'Casa Luna' cooking class 3 years ago as it had amazing reviews, but personally Ketut's cooking class was far superior and cheaper as you do your own cooking to your taste. The place was clean and very efficiently run.
I am a coeliac/ gluten intolerant and they easily helped adapt the menu to my dietary needs (which Casa Luna wouldn't do.) There are vegetarian options also. After the class you are given a copy of all the recipes!
Highly recommend!

It is worth going here just to meet Ketut, he is funny and friendly and has the best laugh you will hear all holiday.
The cooking class was great, we were picked up from the hotel and were shown around the local market and got to taste some of the local fruit.
We made 6 courses on total and the team helped with the preparation and the cleaning. The food was amazing and a real taste of Balinese cuisine. We were given a recipe book you take home.
