I love the fresh juice menu here. The food is also nicely prepared. I give 3 stars for slightly skimpy portions, slow service (which is fine if you’re not in a big hurry), the fact that the server told me that they were out of avocado, which was an ingredient for the salad I ordered, and then charged me for a hard boiled egg I asked to substitute for the missing avocado. The little chairs at the table I sat at were a bit uncomfortable too. I’ve had better dining experiences in Ubud.

This place was recommended by a friend but I will not be passing on this recommendation to anyone else.
Staff were lovely and place was cozy which is the reason why i have given them 2 stars.
The food was bland, uninspired and mediocre at best.
I had the fruit salad with yogurt which is hard to mess up but they were not even ripe. My wife had the tofu scramble. The portion was small and tasteless. Coffee was good. Maybe they should stick to their name.

The place itself is beautiful. Design and customer service is excellent. Big variety of vegan food which is really worth to be ordered. We ate beef burger with fries. Nope! Meat is not tasty, smelly and fries were not fresh - soft. But veggies and salads are amazing! And of course presentation!

Ahhh really not great. Too hot as no fans were on. The staff were slow and didn't seem to understand us much. The Kombucha tasted like vinegar, and though we know it is fermented, it should still be drinkable. Also it was a tiny glass for 33k Rupiah, which wasn't reasonable. The Almond Chocolate cake was not great. It tasted like raisins only. I could hardly taste almond flavour, but at least it wasn't overly sweet. So not my best hang out or lunch spot. But, really clean toilets at least.

Decent food at fair prices. Was very hit and no fans inside so was a bit uncomfortable. Had a veggie curry and the chili. The later had excellent flavour but a small portion. Good option in Ubud but nit good enough to get my repeat business. Check.it.out.if you are in.town.and looking for a good meal, but don't go out of your way.

This place is awesome. Good cheap food. We had Mexican and really enjoyed it. The desserts and cocktails were also great. Lots of vegetarian options.

Cute place with a great menu. So many choices for food lovers. The down side: I've ordered a Bali Coffee and received it in a dirty glass also my Indian Chicken Burger had menaced meat with hard bits that tasted like cartridge 🤔😢 After changing my order to salad and sticking with the Veg option , it was all great and tasted amazing. 5 star to the ladies who work there. The people make that place fab.

Great ambiance and delicious food! Green Thai curry was awesome. A bit more expensive than other restaurants but quality food. My friend had the burger which he says is the best in ubud. Will definitely go back!

This place has been my go-to canteen for mornings and evenings. Atmosphere is calm yet always with people; food and drink options are plentiful. I really enjoy the fresh juices (Vitamin c Blast) and desserts. Also black rice pudding for breakfast. Staff is attentive. Kitchen closes at 10:30pm but you can stay until 11 Pm. Try the upstairs room! Go once and you’ll go back.

We only stopped in for a couple of beers and some guacamole and chips, but I really like this place. The second floor dining area is nice and can be a good place from which to work, if you bring your laptop. There are pillows and comfortable questions to spend a little time.

The guacamole was not like at home, but pretty good nonetheless as we ordered a second helping. That, with a couple of Heineken’s, hit the spot for both of us.

Underwhelmed. I went two nights ago and I just had to think hard to remember what I ordered- which was the vegan mixed indian plate. The rice was cold; the curries warm at best. Mostly bland- the chutney had some flavour but that was too sweet and lacked spiciness.. I visited here because it shows up on google as a VEGAN restaurant close to my hotel- it isn't- it has a few vegan dishes on the menu alongside some cheesy vegetarian dishes. The local coffee was weak and watery. (until I got to the sludge and by then it's too thick to drink). Already overpriced, tax and service add insult to injury. It took a while to get my menu. Food and drinks came quickly after ordering. Had to wait for my bill and change. It has a quiet atmosphere no overly loud music. Too many other options to revisit this one.

Great raw and vegan alternatives. Smiling staff! Good vibes. Good place to come and work with laptop. A little crowded. You can find info + pamphlets of "What's On" in Ubud. Maps + Ads for spiritual, yoga, health and retreat courses etc.

Keep coming back to this place for the delicious and affordable food. They handle themselves really well with efficiency but have made mistakes on several orders that needed to be corrected or were found after takeaway. They also offer free Wi-Fi (but restrict usage on the first floor as they turn it off during certain hours) with respectable speeds but not great. They have air-con but still keep all the windows and doors open so it's not very efficient. Clean restrooms. They have healthy offerings for snacks and cakes as well as alcoholic drinks. Would not recommend their smoothies.

Aleksandar Peychovski (09/09/2017 02:05)
Great selection of healthy food - meal is quite international and has a lot of variety. For example, you can eat a typical Balinese / Indonesian dish, or a Mediterranean salad, a burger, a fajita, etc. Reasonably priced, but worth it you've been travelling for ages. Amazing coffee!!

Giorgio Bona (08/09/2017 08:38)
Very nice atmosphere, and a really long list of original dishes and drinks!

I had a croissant with eggs and tomatos and a great tuna steak baguette ( the steak was perfectly cooked) with pesto and grilled veggies!! The homemade ketchup on the French fries must be tried!

The staff is quick to react (rare in Bali) and careful (i.e.: they repeat your order to make sure everything is alright, even if their English is good).

If you get tired of Balinese coffee the espresso here tastes as the one in Italy (for the same price, ca 1€)

Chloe Rachelle (04/09/2017 00:22)
The staff here and so friendly and nice and the food is divine. They also have a lot of gluten free options as well. Definitely now my favourite place to eat in Ubud

Karolina Szymula (31/08/2017 01:24)
I was here almost every single day during my stay in Ubud. Delicious food and good drinks. Lots of healthy options (vegan, raw) as well as some when you feel peckish and want to devour on a big plate of nachos ;) Staff is very helpful and attentive. Sit on a weranda upstairs and watch the world go by. My only comment, beware of the fax and service charge fees. You might be surprised how much that can add to your bill. In all fairness this is not the only place in Bali that doesn't include tax in the prices on menu but just saying to be careful.

Edyta Gonet (15/08/2017 16:22)
Definitely my best place to hang out in Ubud. Delicious food and drinks. I do recommend the whole menu. You can sit there all day long and watch the street from the balcony. I stayed in Ubud 10 days and I there was only 1 day I didn't step in. 5 stars with no doubts.

Lucie Donzé (01/07/2017 05:58)
Really good ! Vegetarian and vegan options (even non-dairy smoothies). Kafe super salad and vetianmese salad are really yummy (see the pics) ! Alkaline water and free fast wifi :)

Lisa Hussenether (18/06/2017 03:53)
Only tried desserts here and they were really good. They have raw and "regular" sweets (cakes, pies, brownies, bliss balls...). They are a little pricier than other restaurants but it's well worth it.

Josh Sambrook - Smith (01/06/2017 08:14)
Nice and chilled, staff attentive and friendly. Food was really good. Had Asian noodles - recommended by the waitress. Massive smoothie selection. Recommended!

Sander Veraar (28/04/2017 08:28)
Good spot for vegan, simple Mexican style foods, and for fresh juice, coffee, teas, cocktails, beers. Free WiFi with password on wall. Good place for kids, decent kids menu (spaghetti, pasta, chips etc). Service is friendly but very slow (even by Balinese standards)

Omkaar Jaikaran (26/04/2017 06:25)
Great food. Frequently at capacity. Will make you a great medium rare burger. (this was the first place in Indonesia that asked me how I liked my burger cooked and they aced it)

Nathan Dijkstra (23/04/2017 10:50)
Food and drinks are very varied and really good! Also the place looks very cozy. The service is great as are the prices. I've been here more than once and never got disappointed!

Meiyi Cheng (11/04/2017 03:03)
Nice food, friendly staff, vegan options available, which makes up 20-30% of the menu, so not a large selection. Price is on the slightly high end. Good for groups.

This is yet another reason to hang around in Ubud. Delicious and eclectic menu, great coffee and cakes. An ambience hard to find and of course the always friendly and courteous staff. I would give 5 stars but for the wandering indoor Dogs..

Chloe McMillan (18/02/2017 12:04)
Nice place to have lunch or coffee. But very busy when we were there, and that was low season! But service was quick, our food was tasty and the atmosphere was pleasant despite being packed.

Kirill Evgeniev (07/02/2017 14:39)
Mezzo plate and tomato soup are awesome. Atmosphere is instantly relaxing. Nice interior and music. Service is not super welcoming, so just don't bother about it.

Gen t (18/01/2017 22:47)
Great place, nice staff, good food and good coffee. I love to work here: get my laptop out and spend some time being productive.

Atmosphere is active but relaxed and the music is always good imo: chill beats mixed with soul.

👍🏻 for work
👍🏻 for couples
👍🏻 for breakfast

I first came here about 6 years ago, and my memories were great. I wanted to share with my partner on this trip. Unfortunately there was no welcoming greeting, we sat at a table that hadn't been cleared properly and the waitress gave it a very perfunctory wipe with a paper towel. I watched the staff while waiting for our order to arrive - they spent the time chatting and laughing with other staff, which is lovely, but customers were not being served and tables not being cleared. Having said all that, the coffee and food was good, not great. This place will still do a roaring trade with the post-yoga set, as it's still the place to be...

Mark Lockyer (03/11/2016 04:48)
Just a really nice cafe restaurant. French flavour. Large menu selection from small to large, tapas to main meals. Great wine and cocktail selection, though wine prices are high as you'd expect in Bali with the high alcohol tax, but you can still get a glass of white or red for 5 dollars. Relaxing ambience. I would give it 5 out of 5 but if I did, there would be no room for improvement! Life would be over! So 4.5/5, now back to my wine...

kmartina5 (14/09/2016 12:40)
I wanted to grab a quick bite after yoga, nothing too heavy as it was already late. This place serves more of a western cuisine but I didn't mind as I was strapped for time. I was not expecting much of Kafe because there is quite a bit of options on the menu. Surprisingly my grilled feta and foccacia sandwich with salad was pretty flavourful. The sandwich also had grilled veggies prepared to perfection. Overall, cute atmosphere, laid back place, friendly staff and quick service.

Nihir Morzaria (10/09/2016 07:56)
Consistently good food in Ubud. The work space upstairs is more laid back and the restaurant is always producing high quality food. It's a go-to spot for a lunch or dinner every time I'm in Ubud.

Georgia Morley (16/08/2016 09:30)
I love the coffee and lime slushie here (with honey and so refreshing). The service is lovely and the sales are delicious. I find breakfast a little mediocre, but it was just scrambled eggs, so how exciting can you make that (small and expensive for ubud I think is the issue). A great spot for an afternoon treat.

Sergey Balasev-Samarski (14/08/2016 07:37)
Very easy and laid back atmosphere. Not typical Ubud tourist restaurant/cafe, but more suitable for relaxing hanging out time with healthier food choices.

Kai Bertrand Elvin (23/06/2016 02:15)
Spacious cafe. Large juices are large enough. WiFi is slow as lots of people in. Password is welcomehome. Like many similar hipster cafes, coming here to get full is probably a budget, and there's sugar added in about everything. All plates look small for their price.

Leah Dittrich (31/05/2016 14:31)
This place reminds me of an episode of portlandia. Foods megger and expensive. Left feeling hungry. The atmosphere is boring feels like your back in usa or Australia. If you travel for culture and experience you will not get this here. If you call yourself a yogi and use the word namaste you will probably like it. They should have put a bird on it.

Iris Alm Faleide (19/05/2016 13:05)
Decent food, but expensive and TINY portions. You have to spend at least 150-200k to actually get full. Even the smoothie glasses are small. Much better value at Bali Buda, which is very close. Example: 18000 IDR for a glass - a GLASS - of coconut water at KAFE (you get an entire coconut for 10.000 at Bali Buda). Come on.

Zack Wragg (06/05/2016 08:26)
Great place for a laid back dinner. Their salad bowls are amazing. Incredibly healthy and very filling. The juices are very good too. If you have a sweet tooth then you have to try the brownies.

Liked it so much I went back the following night.

Vytenis (16/04/2016 23:28)
Good food. Loved Indian platter, Indonesian dishes, fruit drinks. The only complaint - gets hot as there isn't A/C there and they have dogs inside, one of which can bite.

Anja Waldner (30/03/2016 03:46)
cozy spot with good food. The indian plate was fantastic.
The burger maybe not the best choice in such a place. The fries were still raw and the patty should have been medium but came well done.
