The pool is nice, it was clean by the time tourists starts to oiled themselves in it. We try something from the menu, it was tasty but extremely small for its price. And the view from the pool is just a jungle hill and nothing more, so you can find more beautiful places like this in Bali.

Beautiful location, great chill day. Started at the spa for a massage then headed poolside for a relaxing afternoon. Lunch was served at our lounge chairs and was excellent. Service was exceptional. Highly recommended!

Would not return. The view is nice enough, but not spectacular. Everything is outrageously overpriced and the entrance fee is a bit steep. The really annoying thing is that they escort you to lounge chairs and you can’t really move around or sit anywhere else. They have a lot of rules and restrictions and offer basically nothing for the price. The pool water was cloudy and the pool was pretty basic. Honestly, you can find better pools and better views for this price or free. Many places offer free entrance if you buy something. I do not recommend going here. The view isn’t even that nice

Loved jungle fish two years ago, so we took a 30 minute hired car with driver to return for drinks at the restaurant portion, which has a great view over (but safely away from) the pool. Unfortunately, that portion was inexplicably closed and even though we were dressed in heels and white and designer items on per usual if we are not going to a pool, they kept suggesting we just go sit on the wet pool loungers next to all the people and children splashing around and failed to comprehend how this was not something that appealed to us (it is a nice hotel, so should not have been lost on them). Lots of construction going on everywhere as well, so it was quite unpleasant and lots of screaming babies and children in the pool, lots of white beaters and tattoos. Not the ambiance it used to have, even at the pool. We obviously turned around and attempted o leave straightaway, but we were stuck taking their overpriced car hire back to ubud since we were unable to order or call any cabs or drivers of our own to come collect us.

Nice tropical jungle pool, the vibe is calm and family friendly mostly people chilling in the sun. The food is western: pizza, Greek salad smoothies, juices, cocktails... Some Asian dishes but not a place for people who want local food. Quality and taste are good. There is some construction work going on but from the pool you can hardly hear it. Entrance fee for adults: 150,000 IDR (about 10 dollars US).
I recommend it if you want to sunbathe and escape the heat during the hottest hours of the day.

Very very nice place! It is Not cheap but defenitely worth going there. I would recommend to make a Reservation to get a nice spot on the pool area. The Restaurant is also very good.

I emailed them twice, filled in their contact us form on their website and called them twice. No response at all. We were interested in going there for dinner but never ended up going due to their terrible customer service.

Just beautiful at Jungle Fish, the pool area is spot on and the food, drinks and service are fantastic. We stayed in a private villa at the resort and loved every moment of our stay. If you don't mind spending a bit of money on accommodation then it is definitely worth it. The meals at Abing restaurant were quality and moderately priced. Their is also a bar which is stunning and a nice spot to enjoy a drink and play a game of pool.

Spending an entire day here is one of my favorite things to do. Infinity pool. Good but not amazing menu. Portions are small and food is on the pricier side. Entrance fee approx $10 for the day. Even if it rains there is an over hang which makes for a great lounge area on their sofas. So grab a book and fresh coconut juice and reflect on easy it is to be full of gratitude for your life!

I love this place! The environment looks super good too. Ordered the Sesame crusted tuna- not the exact name but something along those lines. Definitely something I would go back for and we travelled from Canggu!

Hidden away surrounded by palms and greenery, this place was a little gem, after an hours walk the pool was a welcome relief and we splashed out and got one of the swinging day beds, had a fabulous day here. Food and service were fantastic.
Maximilian Rast (27/09/2017 05:33)
Very chilled spot to hang for the day. Also very scenic with chilled music. Service as well as the massage is very good.
Don't come here for the food though. Pretty much only western food offered. Our rips were still pretty good but the pizza was very meh. Much better food at other beach clubs like Sunday's in Ungasan.
Prices obviously on the high side with 150k entrance (25k for a 2nd towel which is a bit ridiculous).
Rifki (03/09/2017 02:04)
Beautiful scenery for having nice lunch, or you just can chilling on pool facing to the jungle with their great cocktails.

We've read and saw all the great reviews and photos about Jungle Fish but were quite disappointed with our experience. Quite simply because this place felt like a westernized version of Bali.
The pool and lounge are are beautifully designed and amidst of a small jungle valley which makes the scenery really incredible. Yet once you sit down you'll be set aback by the commercial atmosphere. There are 'entrance fees' for any of the chairs or lounge areas which remind me more of Las Vegas than of anything else. The menu mostly only offers western dishes and which in our case were just sad deliveries, e.g.: anywhere in Bali if you order a ginger tea you'll be served fresh ginger. At Jungle Fish you'll get a sad tea bag for 2-3x the price.

Great place to spend the day chilling, eating great food and having a few drinks. Location is beautiful.

If you are in Ubud this place is totally worth of visiting. Atmosphere here is awesome, environment too. Pool is great and its good for relaxation. I tried few meals here and it was good but if you are too hungry don't expect to be satisfied with quantity.

Absolutely beautiful. The surroundings added to an enjoyable time. Beautiful friendly staff and delicious food.
Ellena Moskovsky (27/06/2017 06:07)
The prices of food and drinks are a little pricey, but the view and pool was absolutely awesome!
Sarah Walsh (23/05/2017 09:48)
Great place to come and relax by the pool for the day. Set in the middle of a jungle, it's an incredible experience to swim while taking in the surroundings.
Sebastian Kleen (09/05/2017 05:08)
Lovely, well trained stuff. Nice and relaxed location with an awesome infinity pool. Well priced but not to bad. Taxes and Service are not included in the prices.
Nice place to chill out after a hike from Ubud
Andrew Mould (28/04/2017 10:28)
Place to visit and chill out on a sunny day at a stunning infinity pool. Entrance is 100000 rupiah for use of the pool and extra for loungers. Food and drinks normally priced.
Jay Theis (28/04/2017 09:55)
Did the ridge walk and then came here for a drink to relax a bit. It's very secluded and you wouldn't find it unless you're looking for it, which means it's very quiet. The pool looked great amongst all the greenery and the restaurant looked great too. The mojitos we had were ok but also quite expensive.
Daniel Rider (11/04/2017 04:27)
Love this pool, staff, and food. If you are in Ubud and want to enjoy some quiet luxury up in the hills away from the busy area, treat yourself. This is an amazing place.
dulcinea gotbeter (14/03/2017 14:14)
Great service, beautiful place and delicious food, and generous portions. The swimming pool is available for a small fee if you are not a guest and it's amazing. Totally recommend it.
Anna Kloots (23/02/2017 03:27)
A true oasis in the jungle!! Perfect spot to spend a hot day in Bali relaxing in the infinity pool and sipping drinks! Definitely worth the hike out here!
Lucio flavio (20/02/2017 06:36)
The pool is amazing. The staff is wonderful. The food is great! It is a beautiful paradise nestled in the jungle with wonderful ambiance and very cozy lounges and an inviting infinity pool. The staff could not have been nicer and the bad reviews are honestly false and impossible. 100,000 IDR entrance for huge loungers is simply a bargain! Please, if you want to give bad reviews for this venue, stay home.

Nice place..cozy..nice pool..nice view..not too crowded..great f&b variety incl healthy ones..the staff are friendly and helpful..
Velyana Wijaya (27/01/2017 05:21)
The view is awesome but I think you can find this view in other place in ubud. Me and my friends diasspoint because they are not nice at all. or maybe because I am local one, and others are foreigner.
The food was okay, just okay.
You have to pay for the entrance fee If you are outsider. But the entranc fee can be consumed for beverage and food.
Denisa Sanikova (15/01/2017 13:11)
The place looks breathtaking. Infinity pool in the jungle. Staff is very friendly. However, be prepared to pay, u pay rp 100,000 per person to use the pool and sun beds and the food is quite expensive too.
Talida Negroiu (07/09/2016 05:18)
Wow! This place is simply amazing. We went here 2 days in a row. Bad reviews are simply not justified. I find it very normal to pay for such a wonderful pool and service. If everyone could just go inside, you could not find anymore the serenity and peace. The place is so calming, good music for the atmosphere, the service very attentive and the surroundings of the nature very dramatic and special. I would definetely recommend it to anyone who can spare 100k for a special experience.
Stephen Gough (31/08/2016 05:56)
Well I am here now. Some of the negative reviews seem to be quite weird. It is a tourist destination sort of like a highland Finns Beach. You want to use the pool? Then pay. I'd bet you will be here for many hours occupying sunbeds etc and not really spending much on food and booze. For me, it's relaxed, not too busy today. Music is relaxed, beer is cold, food is good quality and fresh. Not cheap. Want to eat cheap? Go to a dusty warung.

One of Bali's hidden secrets. This place very elegant and fits very well into the surroundings. Food is great!
Jelte Homminga (16/08/2016 11:14)
Nice pool and view. It's not so customer friendly that you ahve to pay 100000 if you want to use the pool. We went here and also reserved to have dinner here. We arrived at 5 pm and you could swim until 6 pm. Even if you have dinner here you ahve to pay to use the pool. Which we did, but gave a but of a negative vibe about how they handle their customers.
Maj Rex (10/08/2016 15:45)
The pool is big and the place look beautiful and green, the food is pricy the staff is friendly. The thing is they don't charge to sit next to the pool they only charge foreigners. Why I would pay money when I'm going to eat and drink........
yosef haryanto (15/05/2016 12:52)
The food is not too good. The staff good enough to serve. The pool and place is amazing. Thats the point you want to hangout here. Otherwise, too expensive for local.
Alexander Frais (18/04/2016 10:43)
Amazing location. Unfortunately it isn't possible to see the sunset from the pool.
Very good paninis and fruit shakes.
Make a reservation for the pool, you have to spend at least 150k/p but you'll get a table/bed mounted on 4 ropes.
Stefanie Callista (23/03/2016 10:04)
I came here with my family on a Sunday. When I first arrived, I was very impressed at how welcoming the staffs were at the reception and also the very calm atmosphere of the place. First impression: positive vibes and serene beauty. Me and my family had planned to eat there because my dad said it would be a good place to chill. Went down to where the restaurant was and we wanted to sit by the pool. I was quite taken aback and much disappointed already at how loud and crowded it was and my social anxiety definitely kicked in. The waiter told us that we had to pay an amount of money to have access to eat down by the pool. Now, beside the pool, there were some tables and chairs just arranged but there were also hanging sofas I guess that were also available. So I spotted one that was empty and decided, ok let's go down and eat there since it was kind of secluded from other people. We went down and were seated right by the pool where everybody could see us. I asked the waiter if we could be moved to the hanging sofas and he said no. So me and my family just decided we would eat upstairs in the restaurant because the atmosphere was very uncomfortable (the people that were there seemed they held themselves superior to others) and my anxiety was definitely rushing in. So fast forward, we ordered our meals and literally had to wait about one to one and a half hour for each meal to be served to us. We were sitting and waiting for what felt like eternity and I couldn't wait to go back and curl up in my room because it was torturous. I didn't speak, I just pretended I was busy with my book (which I am very glad I had with me) and waited until they could serve all our orders so we could get the hell out of there. Finally, about four or five hours in, we lost our patience and couldn't bear sitting one more minute there and asked for all the orders that weren't served yet to be cancelled. Much to our surprise and utter disappointment, they hadn't even been cooking our meals. We left in disappointment and I was very upset that I had wasted what was supposed to be a good weekend there. The service was also very poor; the servers were cold and valued the tourists waaaaayy much more than the locals, which is not uncommon here in Bali but still, this made me never want to go back there. I've had the absolute most torturous time eating there and I wish to not go back. I beg the management to do something about this because I don't even remember receiving a smile! It's a beautiful place, no doubt, but showing kindness and respect is something customer value very highly.

Jungle Fish was very cool & a good alternative to the Hanging Gardens. We made a day trip to Ubud with our two kids & wanted a lunch spot with a pool so as to chill out & cool down. Jungle fish was a perfect choice although quite pricey. Be prepared to drop around AUD 100 +.
The crowd is mixed & they catered for the kids easily. The infinity pool is dreamy with its lush jungle views. The drinks are a bit pricey & the bar food was good. Vegetarian options weren't that great...roasted veg panini was very ordinary. They have a kids menu but our kids ate from the normal menu & enjoyed it.
It's about a 15 minute drive from Ubud which is easy with some great views of rice fields.
Note that you have to pay a fee to use the pool IDR100k per adult/75k per kid which is credited against your bar tab. We had a hanging beds which was great for the family but had to spend a minimum of IDR600k for the pleasure. Staff were friendly & but the service was terrible. We had to go find someone to serve us whenever we want to order as the staff were busy chatting at the bar!
Would definitely go back!

This place is beautiful. Perched over a river gorge, overlooking lush greenery, Jungle Fish just feels good. The walk down to the pool, through the exquisitely designed space, the fields with the quirky minimalist scarecrows and water features, is just a treat. And then, you arrive at top of the stairs overlooking the pool. The scene makes the hilly Ubud drive all the more worthwhile. The infinity pool is kind of magical, calming and inviting. It feels like "ahhhh this is what I thought Bali would be!"
Staff are lovely and helpful. There is simple but good bar menu by the pool. It would be great if there were a few more non-meat / Vegetarian- friendly options aside from the one sandwich.
Truly a great find.
NOTE: They recommend checking the Facebook page before coming as the pool can sometimes be closed for maintenance. We learned the hard way! 😕
