The rooms were good. The staff were sweet and helpful. But the washrooms were really bad.

Beautiful place with trees every where and average swimming pool and beds are too springy. It's little hard to sleep on the beds. They provide you all the tourist information

Nice amenities, bedroom is really basic but great bang for the buck. Missed a kitchen, you can only buy food but not cook your own

This hostel is one of the best I've been to. It is a really new one (2 months old) and has a lot of facilities as a rooftop pool and a pool table. Showers are really clean and the beds are big.

I’ve stayed there for 7nights n it’s jus marvellous for such a low cost

Had the private room. The room was ok, but not very clean and the bed was horrible. We left after one night here. It is a big hostel. The dorm smelled very bad. The location was near the Center and the mainroad, that was quiet nice.wifi ok. Pool too dirty to get in.

Great place to meet other travellers. In Ubud, which is great too.
The only thing is the quality of the beds, they were bad...
But I had a great time there!

Location is perfect and the facility is absolutely beautiful. The dorm rooms are a little less than desirable, with super worn in beds and doors that don't lock(you can rent a locker by the bar).
The staff were fairly rude and food sometimes took longer than 30 minutes to make an omelette.

Really good atmosphere. Staff are really nice. The owner often hangs around to chat with the guests. Good places to relax after a long day. The family rooms are very good for group travellers. Convenient location. Scooter rental is possible.

Good hostel clean and comfortable, haven't stayed any where else in ubud to compare but I.would look for somewhere else if want compare a bit more luxury as it's very basic and staff weren't very helpful.

I checked in at around 3pm, and dropped my bags off in the corner of the room. Came back at 6pm and found a mouse dropping and a bed bug on my new bed sheets. I took the bed bug to reception, asked for a refund, but she refused on the basis of there being no bed bugs. I had to stand my ground and ask repeatedly for all my money back, not half, or a free drink, before they eventually gave in and let me on my way. Would not go there again.

Bunkbeds in one large room. Even though there is not air conditioning, the dorm cools down nicely at night. Beautiful views outside the room of rice fields. Many hammocks and pool side lounging chairs make this a very wonderful stay

Great hostel. Cheap (€6 per night), lots of services (scooter rental for 50k, tours to the mountain, cheap and great food all day). It has a pool and great chill out areas to meet people. The beds themselves are clean but pretty old, which is why I can't give it 5 stars.

Cockroach Infestation. During the nights Cockroaches take over the bathrooms. There were 4 large cockroaches in my room both nights. They seemed to know and not care when I told management. Beds were very uncomfortable and rooms very hot at night. Pool area was nice and location is good, but would not recommend to stay here. I booked 4 nights and left after the 2nd night.

Great hostel for the price. The pool is great with sunbeds and a separate bar. It felt like a hotel in the lounge areas. The rooms however need improvement. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm that had 7 beds, the mattress I slept on was caved in so I sunk to the bottom, the ceiling fans are slow so couldn't feed the air on the bottom bunk. I changed room for a bed with a standalone fan next to it but the fan didn't rotate which was annoying for the two beds sharing that fan. It's important to complain here as the staff do make an effort if you assert yourself but you have to push them into action. The changing area needs a curtain because staff walk in the room in the day and can catch you on the nude. Wifi needs improving it can slow almost to a halt. The location of the hostel is good because it's near the lazy cats cafe and the massage places.

Nice Pool but they have too many lounge area's so its harder to meet People. Also no AC in the room Just fans, and the WiFi is quite terrible. It doesnt go out but it's painfully slow

Cute place, good location, and this place is pretty popular. Highly recommend staying here. I stayed in the fan seven person dorm room and it was fine, but you might prefer the air-con sixteen person dorm

My pillow was black of mold...the windows did not close, had to tie one down with a hairelastic to prevend it from banging in the wind all night. The staff takes office in front of the bedrooms when people sleep. It looks very nice from the outside but the dorms are very dirty and everthing is broken. Do not understand why it s so popular.
Lyna Marleen Heins (01/02/2017 23:27)
Very beautiful hostel with lots of beautiful plants and decorations. Also a very big hostel and they play loud bassmusic till 23.00 hrs...so not guiet, sleep is depending on social behaviours of lots of other guests

did not stay there but popped upnto visit my friend ...large place looked very clean with people to meet ..

Great atmosphere. Pool and hangout areas are great after a hot day walking Ubud. Bar and food could be cheaper but quality is high and very convenient. I stayed in the huge 24 person dorm. It was fine, not too loud, ventilation was good because the door is basically always open. Sunrise volcano trek was great fun.

Stayed here a few nights. We were 3 people in the 6 person dorm. The place is pretty good although be careful if you are on the top bunk as it is easy to slip off and smash a shin on the bamboo. The beds are actually pretty comfy, but because the door is wide open, spray yourself down with repellent if you not want to risk a few bites. The six person dorm has a private bathroom and shower which is awesome. The Nasi Goreng was pretty good as well although you can get better for cheaper from one of the stores. There are small stores so grab food/drink and eat it in your dorm.

Brilliant backpacker hostel with clean beds and ok bathrooms. Food options are good and the common areas are excellent for conversations and hanging out. Tends to be fully booked so last minute bookings might not workout.
Adam Van Elsberg (15/07/2016 17:16)
If I could give less than 1 star I would. Over priced, very unfriendly staff. Guests are only allowed in one little area after 10pm, if it's too crowded you have to go to bed or leave. They shut off the lights in that area no matter how many people are still there.
The dorm is open air and infested with bugs, no air conditioning, and they leave the lights on all night, often shining directly on the guests.
Drinks are marked up 50% from the store across the street, but you're not allowed to bring them from outside.
Located directly beside an area that blasts announcements through speakers. Difficult to have a conversation over the noise.
Worst hostel I've ever been in Asia

Nice hostel, good atmosphere, easy to meet people, staff are not really friendly at first but once you get to meet them theyre nice. Food is good but pricey. Cant imagine that they have bedbugs because ive seen them clean the beds thoroughly.
Alex White (13/06/2016 08:57)
Didn't sleep here, just came for a pool party, that was nice
Luke DeQuilettes (05/04/2016 19:09)
Very nice facility. Friendly staff. They sent scooters to pick us up from another hostel that was full! Very thankful to have stayed here.
Cordelia Doherty (17/01/2016 23:40)
Bed bugs.
Very limited facilities (no fridge, no.kitchen).
Banned from eating and drinking food, not purchased on the premises, in communal areas.
No free water.
Service from staff in awful. They dodge guest questions unless they are hounding us to buy from their overpriced and bland menu and bar.
Pool is murky, green and over chlorinated. Noone swims in it.
Oh and they will push a club called Chill Out, really hard.
Dear In Da Lodge, can you "Chill Out" with putting a flyer for your awful club on each guests bed *every night*. We would like to live in a sustainable world, wouldn't you ??

Fantastic hostel. Excellent swimming pool area. However, there is any early curfew.
