Amazing food, both western and Indonesian are great + full of flavour. We also did the cooking course, highly recommended! Informative, not very hands on, but the food was delicious in a beautiful garden setting of a nearby hotel. Can’t get enough of this place such good value!

The food at this place is magnificent.
I ordered the super salad bowl 🥗 with tofu-tumeric chips 🍟 and guacamole 🥑
It was all fresh, delicious and healthy.
Furthermore, the waitresses who served us were friendly, very attentive and quick on their feet.
Overall, well-deserved 5 stars

Amazing, hearty food. Can beat any hipster place nearby. Chicken curry is absolutely stunning, made with fresh ingredients, fingerlicking good. Nice ambience, friendly staff. Did I mention the chicken curry? Definitely recommend.

We were lucky to catch a live preformance during dinner. Super amazing!! Food was incredible. Not a huge selection.

We arrived in Ubud last night and had to head straight to Casa Luna. As usual, it didn't disappoint. Can't believe our first visit to this restaurant was in 1992, the year it opened. The food last night lived up to our expectations. So nice to see that some things never change in Ubud. True comfort food for weary travelers. If you want quality food-traditional Indonesian but also a full array of Mediterranean and fusion ideas, this is the place. Good value, good quality and great atmosphere.

I have really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food there. The setting is lovely and the food delicious. Would happily go back there again.

Goog food and friendly service. A varied menu of "western" "Mediterranean" Indonesian special cooked with a homestyle touch. Great deserts, cakes, pastries, and bread to eat in or take out. Pleasant atmosphere and good value for your money.

One of my favorite restaurants in Ubud. Prices are right, selection is fusion, and taste is hard to beat. Plus you can sit next to the railing and overlook the river--beautiful. Good service and quiet, comfortable dinner spot.

The best part about Casa Luna is probably its huge! They go very far back from their storefront and that's a bit quieter thank the usual road facing small cafe like Lazy Cats for example.
Like others have mentioned the service is slow here though there weren't many customer here. I wonder how that is when is crowded.
Breakfast servings were small but good. Staff was attentive.

Best Nasi Goreng ever. Fresh and tasty. Sit at the back on the lower terrace overlooking the ravine and river below.

Delicious food, superb menu including an amazing array of drinks, juices, Lassie and cocktails. Great service and very inexpensive.

Casa Luna is cute home grown coffee shop of Ubud! Their cappuccino is the best in the town.
They also serve great appetizers.

One of the oldest cafes and restaurants in Ubud. Classic interior and not so fancy like other places in Ubud. A very nice view in the back. Delicious cakes and decent food. Prices are a bit high but ok for the quality. I fully recommend that place for a relaxed dining experience.

If you want to listen to some really good Jazz, this is the place. Some of the World class artists are playing here!

I went to have a nice tea and use the Internet. I understand the Internet may have been slow but I expect a 30.000rp tea in Ubud to at least be decent. I have never felt the need to complain publicly about something in Bali before but the tea was bad and when I said something at checkout it was brushed aside. There are a hundred places you should try first.

The food here was quite good. Its on the main road and if you sit out you can do people watching.
The service here was good too.
Nothing spectacular but was good.

Things have changed a lot in Bali: when we were here a few years ago Casa Luna was the absolute best restaurant in town.
Nowadays there are better ones: this doesn't mean the restaurant is bad by any means: the food is still good but the competition is strong.
We didn't experience any problems with the service, actually it was quite good. Prices are not too bad.
What is still really good is the deserts: try the lime cheese cake :-)

Casa Luna is the old restaurant in Ubud, the owner same as Indus. The interior is so nice, cozy and relaxing. The bad thing is, you'll need extra patient and extra energy to find a parking lot for car in the street, they don't have valet service....so either you walk or by scooter...
The food is good, adjusted for international taste. Many Indonesian and Asian cuisine you can choose. The service is very good, no complaint. The price is worthy....
Sit at the balcony on the backyard of the restaurant......

Nice quiet place to while time away. Good and coffee is good too. Both western and local.

Great service and good deals for strong happy hour cocktails 5 - 8 pm! Nice view of the river and at night you can watch bats.

Love the desserts! Especially the Paris Match one, calming place, recommended if you are searching for a good dessert

Only went to the downstairs Bar Luna and got the great set of three tapas (I think they were called? or samosas?) of fish, chicken, and beef during their open mic night on Thursdays. It was supposed to start at 7 but didn't really start until an hour later or so. They also had buy one get one free mojitos, and the best chocolate dessert cake I've had yet (I like the fudgy brownies rather than the cakey ones)
Antonio Yague (07/09/2016 13:32)
Food was okay and the place looks nice but the service is horribly slow, inefficient and for some reason look unhappy. One starter and two main courses took an hour until we got them on the table. They were slow again with an extra bottle of water and with the check. There are many waitresses, but they don't put much effort. It is also pricey. Won't go again.

We ate here twice and enjoyed it. They have good vegan/vegetarian options as well. The coconut ice cream is my favorite. I would go a 3rd time.
Thamar Jurgens (30/06/2016 13:14)
We ordered spare ribs. We got 5 pieces and 5 pieces of cold fries. We ordered mayonaise. But they forgot it. The same with the bill. We waited a very long time. The staff was not very friendly. High prices, low service; never again!
ViperHeist (31/05/2016 07:34)
The food was pretty amazing, though we waited quite a long time after we ordered our food before it was put in front of us. Otherwise, great staff, great location, great food!

Great Restaurant that served Indonesian and Western Food.
The Highlight would probably be that the restaurant serves food late.
Thus if you are in the Ubud area and want to eat something then you can visit here. We were tehre at around 10/11 PM and they still served food.

Best nasi campur Bali i've tasted.
Pierre-Adrien RIVIER (27/12/2015 07:49)
We have been there a couple of times and have always enjoyed the food: small portions, well presented and tasty. Nice atmosphere and simple food, prepared with technique. We have never been disappointed by a dish (and we are pretty harsh food critics!) Dont miss out on the ice cappucino, it is as good as they say!
