Nice 'shoppingmall'. Have everything I want, e.g. Cooking gear for at home, my organic anti mosquito spray. Many kinds of herbal teas, even the very very healthy menduku tea!!!
But also many many normal things like Coca Cola, chips erc, etc.
Good atmosphere.

Good place for shopping. Nice prices. At the same time big shop for souvenirs on the second floor.
You can leave your children in special place for games and do your shopping.
They often have discounts for different things.
Big parking. And nice bakery from the right side of the entrance.

Big and we'll stocked with everything you need! ATM outside for Western Banks and many small stores and warungs. If they don't have it, you don't need it.
Jennifer Blakemore (27/04/2018 05:24)
Cute place for kids to play upstairs. Groceries, fresh fish, and Target like products upstairs or suveneir gifts , also buy your cell data here!!! GREAT ATM's outside. Its a great first stop to settle into Ubud.

BEWARE OF POISONING FROM DECAYED FISH
POST IN FACEBOOK ON 2 April 2018:
“FYI, a friend is currently on a drip at Toya Medical Clinic after a very nasty reaction to bad tuna eaten at lunch. Purchased at Bintang yesterday (Tuesday 10 April). Beware.”
Most fish I saw was far out of date, more than a week old.

Great selections. Very neat, tidy and clean. Easy to find what you're looking for. Impressed with product brands available.
jiva Carter (09/03/2018 01:42)
It's a good grocery for expat has many things you might not find in other .. I would give it 5 if they stocked meat alternative products .. delta does stock these but they are usually sold out .. so obviously there is a large vegetarian population in Ubud

This market chain is a good one stop shop for expats, tourists and locals as pretty well has everything required in wet/dry/frozen goods, booze, good selection of beers/soft drinks etc., roasted chickens etc., etc. and all at a fare price. Good small selection of most household items etc., its a bit like a small Woolworths store.
There is also a kids play area upstairs and a very good selection of everything that can be found at the Ubud tourist market.
You can also purchase sim cards, buy or top up phone credit and good selection of phone accessory's etc.
Only down side of this market are the staff who begrudging will help if you ask for assistance, but in general there just more interested in them self's and can be seen at anytime hanging aground in groups chatting laughing or on there phones.
Incorporated on the outside of the building you will also find a Post office/Camera shop/coffee shop/DVD stall/clothes shop/optometrist and beauty salon, there is also a small restaurant that serves up good cheap local dishes, many tourists can be seen eating here, so must be good value.

Tidy and clean Supermarket with a good range of fresh meat seafood and dairy together with fruit and vegetables at reasonable prices. Accompanied by the usual range of dried and canned goods as well as kitchenware and general household items this is a great place to visit to restock on essentials as well as general goods.
Laura Lauw (08/02/2018 14:04)
Decent enough for all your essentials and random knick knacks. For actual produce, it’s a hit or miss (i prefer Pepito for fresh produce), but other than that, it’s great. Enough parking spots and covered area for drop off so you can load your bags into your car and without getting drenched if it’s pouring out.

I love shopping at Bintang Supermarket.
It has big range of things I need for my grocery.
The price is very competitive too.
Ruben Waran (31/10/2017 09:58)
Great selection of fresh n dried goods. Wish I came across this place earlier. Good variety of cheeses and meats. Perfect if you are staying in Ubud with cooking facilities.
Anastasia Restu (28/10/2017 07:53)
I only go here for the reason they have BCA ATM and their offers are sometimes too good to miss. However, their service is so-so. My boss who has been living in Bali for over twenty years was once accused for stealing their traditional snack, which was a major mistake in their part. The manager mistook my boss with some other lady just because she's a foreigner. Meanwhile, my boss had been their loyal customer for years, spending over five millions worth of groceries every month during her stay. And the place isn't that clean, although I can understand that this supermarket is pretty old.
Adam van de Kraats (28/09/2017 10:05)
Stopped by while on vacation in Bali. Prices are a bit high because it caters to tourists. Very convenient place to pick up anything you forgot to bring on vacation with you. Carries just about anything you might need regarding food, drink, and toiletries. ATMs outside.
Julia Trippingtribe (14/09/2017 04:10)
A supermarket that offers everything you need, including fresh fruits & veggies, organic and vegan products, fresh meat and fish. They sell wine and beer and have a small farmacy. Upstairs is an indoor playground. They sell clothes, shoes and souvenirs. Outside is a post office, a cafe and some more shops for clothes. Taxi service and washrooms available. Several ATM at the parking area.
irianto tedja (27/08/2017 13:40)
Convenient store that also sells simple raincoats. There is no car park.
Nate's Escape (19/08/2017 04:27)
Cheap and the staff are really friendly I love this place and love upstairs where you can by clothes and souvenirs
Kyla K (02/08/2017 08:16)
If you want to grab some handicrafts and not have to haggle they have some at set prices upstairs. Also sell food, luggage, clothes ect has atm outside and parking lot.
Thomas Theodore (13/07/2017 08:50)
Very nice and very clean. If you're looking for something you can't find elsewhere give this place to try. But keep in mind the prices are higher here than in a lot of other stores in Ubud.
Meiyi Cheng (20/06/2017 04:44)
This place is really dark, literally dark, no sunlight in and very weak lights inside. The vibe is a bit weird. Shopping experience may be much better if you go to Delta or Pepito
Fabrizio Bagaglini (02/05/2017 14:15)
very expensive, for bulè/western only, employees kind, prices often are not shown and they have no idea on what they sell
Dennis Ng (10/04/2017 02:51)
Huge selection of groceries, fruits, cooking materials, cheese, vegetables, fair prices. Coffee, nuts, drinks. Big parking spaces.
DC Eaton (01/04/2017 14:47)
Higher prices except for Delta Dewata. I've been told and know this for a fact, that highest prices are due to the fact that this is a foreigner gravitational market unashamedly greedy by its hugely rich Chinese owner of this small chain. If you want specialized mests & coffe it's great; everything else is at least a partial ripoff..
Jeremy Cosgrove (27/03/2017 04:38)
It's a supermarket. Everything in one place, sometimes cheaper, sometimes more expensive. But the convenience is worth it. Little taxi station out front makes getting home easy.
Tanner R (30/01/2017 02:15)
One of very few markets in Ubud. Good amount of options and non crazy prices. Stopped here to pick up some normal food as that's pretty hard to find anywhere. Multiple floors though the food section is very localized.
Tyler Noorbergen (26/01/2017 06:36)
A full fledged supermarket. You'll find anything you need here, and much cheaper than you'd pay at a minimart. Also there are some souvenirs upstairs which are similar to what you'd buy out of the street in some instances (e.g. bintang singlets) and it can be much cheaper to buy here.
Monica Octaviani (22/12/2016 17:58)
I bought a plug which isn't work properly, then I called the customer service, they say it's okay to refund/exchange with new product.
Mary B (08/12/2016 21:08)
Went here in the last days from our stay in Ubud to buy some coconut oil and a few goodies to take home. The supermarket isn't very big but it does have a good variety of groceries. Was expecting smaller prices for a supermarket, but I suppose it is for tourists.
Arjen Kruithof (07/11/2016 05:02)
Fully stocked supermarket with lots of imported food as well. Also has quite some aisles of things that are useful around the home.
It's unnecessarily difficult to compare products by price because they fail to display the per-kilo price for non-fresh products. This is especially important since the imported stuff is sold at a steep premium.
Andrew Humphrey (20/08/2016 01:41)
Bintang has pretty much everything you are looking for, its not as cheap as the local pasar for fruit, veg and meat but it's not crazy expensive either. Sells a wide selection of foods and the standard range of household requirements.
Peter Dautzenberg (15/08/2016 10:37)
Very large toko. With lots of exotic fruits. Also a lot of foreign products. A bit far from Ubud centre.
Sergey Balasev-Samarski (14/08/2016 07:40)
One of largest supermarkets in Ubud. Good selection of goods and food, more suitable for westerners than other supermarkets.
-S- (08/08/2016 14:23)
This is à supermarket!
We can find a wide range of Indonesian and international food and fruits.
Price still correct
Runo More (02/08/2016 06:17)
Plus: quite wide range of beers, incl. Balinese. Cold ones in fridge.
Minus: card payments accepted only from 100 000 rupiah, and even for that there will be 2,5% extra charge!
Extra minus: in front of supermarket you say Uber and GrabTaxi not allowed... that is utterly munafik
Darren John Maxwell (19/06/2016 07:51)
Easy shopping and great prices
Zsolt Bakó (07/06/2016 07:14)
High variety of local and imported food and some household stuff. If you need something it's a good place to start looking for it.
Jeff Kalkhoff (02/05/2016 05:22)
Good selection of products, one stop shopping.
rolf schatzmann (19/01/2016 06:06)
I don't know which came first the supermarket or the beer, but it's a good place to find what you need. Prices are super low for most items.
HYE-HYUN Lee (30/09/2015 09:42)
Its big market in ubud. Its loacated far from ubud center. It takes around 25 minutes from the Ubud palace by walk(im a woman)
