You gonna love it after hiking the Batur. It is quite cold in the morning so hot spring is really enjoyable. The food is also good. Very nice place to visit!

This place was awesome! The water is a very nice temperature, just perfect not too warm or cold. The water is also very clean and pure. There are numerous different pools you can enjoy and a few different places with hot spring water pouring into the pools. As well it is right on Lake Batur and there are great views of the surrounding hills and volcanoes. When we got in they gave us a wonderful welcome drink and snack, and towel/locker service is included with entry.

Great experience, warm water contrasting fresh mountain air (there was fog around the crater). Exactly what we hoped for. Could have stayed in the pool all day! Thankfully for us, due to Agung, few tourists. Facilities were clean and food was good and inexpensive. All in all a great day :-)
Just an update: 4 months have passed and a lot of building is happening. The water is still warm, the experience is still great and it looks like Toya Devasaya will be even more fun in the future. This time a lot more people though.

We went here as part of a packaged tour. The hot springs are fine and the free welcome drink and included towel were good. There’s a slide in one of the areas but the stairs are in terrible repair. The showers/locker area are kinda yucky and smell very strongly of mothballs. The lakeside area is pretty neat with a hot area next to a lake swimming area. All in all, a pretty fun experience.

The entry fee was reasonable. There are spa massages available here for an additional fee. The two pools of hot springs are great for family or couples or individuals. The swimming pool style hot springs are at the top level and the open style hot springs are at the bottom level work a view of the Batur volcano mountain. It is a long flight of stairs down to the bottom. The changing facilities are sparse. They provide lockers and towels included in the entry ticket. Also a drink and small snack is included.

Enjoyed the hot springs, beautiful scenery. The waters were nice and relaxing and refreshing, so this is a really nice treat. But it's not the Blue Lagoon in Iceland, that's truly 5 stars. Just saying, this is delightful, but not even close to the BL, though if you've never been then you'd most certainly be pleased you come here! Enjoy!

Lovely place. Not a wonderful place but nice.
Service and everything still need to be improved but for basic level it's fine.
The pools are amazing, I love it. I spent about 4 hours here and it's worth money and time driving all the way from Canggu.

The place is pretty unique due to the gorgeous view from the main pool near the lake. Entrance fee might be slightly overpriced, but the place is very clean and staff is helpful and welcoming. Food however was quite a disappointment.

The best place to realized tight muscle after hiking Batur volcano. The place have beautiful panorama, the water clean. So recommend to visit.
Raef Mousheimish (27/08/2017 05:07)
The water is hot and clean, the view is fantastic. It is super relaxing and the fried bananas are great. I think it is one of the places that deserves a visit in Bali.
christian bligh (13/08/2017 23:20)
Great view, we booked it for aftrt Sun rise hike. Just what we needed. Spent about an hour there and that was enough.
Naif Al-Dahasi (13/08/2017 17:48)
The water wasn't as hot as in Bandung hot water spring. Also, the place was full of flies and insects and not clean. Although I had the best watermelon juis since I arrived to Bali but the stuff wasn't nice as most of Bali places and the fly and insect were very annoying.

Beautiful view so you can take high quality photos of a low quality experience. Its also easy to get to, no hiking necessary which is a plus. But not worth 180,000 RP/15 USD per head especially since the water is lukewarm at best, like really disappointingly cool. The huge and numerous pools are near impossible too heat with a natural hot spring. The increasing popularity of the place seems to have caused them to expand the pools to accommodate all us tourists which is unfortunate for those who expect hot springs to be hot (90F+). Also they don't scrub the growths of algae off the bottom of the pools so that is pretty gross. If you hike mount batur and are in need of a relaxer I highly suggest just going to take a hot bath instead or get an hour long massage for 70,000 RP. They also have explicit signs saying no refunds so I think it's safe to say I'm not the only one who felt that they did not deliver on what they advertise.
TL;DR lame overpriced gross natural lukewarm spring.

This is a good place to relax for a bit; aside from all it's crowded. You could swim in a pool with warm waters while looking at views of the mountain and the lake. Still the place is a bit humid.
Diyang Yu (22/06/2017 04:45)
We came here as part of our package deal with climbing Mt. Batur. I absolutely recommend it. There's nothing like relaxing in the hot springs after a tiring hike, and the views are amazing as well.
Check out some of the pics I took!
Petit Steve (05/06/2017 08:07)
Separate entrance and separate hot springs pools for locals and tourists. The drinks and food are more expensive than other places in Indonesia (still cheap). It was a bit annoying when they were playing loud modern music. We wanted to relax and enjoy the view but the music ruins the moment. They were building new pools for the tourist section. Overall it was very relaxing and quit fun to do. (The changing room was without separate cabins)
Nyaki Pitso (12/05/2017 13:18)
The springs are lovely. We visited after hiking the Batur at sunrise. I think that may have added to the visit. very relaxing.
We got (pineapple/wattermelon) juice on arrival and fried banana (try it).
Amanda Spurlock (09/04/2017 03:42)
Hilarious place. More like a water park than what you'd think of as "natural springs" since it's so commercialized. The various small pools were nice though with their varying temperatures.
Andres Müller (22/03/2017 04:49)
Very expensive (180k march 17) and packed with tourists. The view from the pool over the lake is nice, but nothing special. There is a public hot spring pool close to this one which is almost the same and much cheaper.
Paul Richardson (24/02/2017 02:06)
Nice looking place, staff amenable.
Came in 1/2 hr before close, they did let us go & explore/ look around.
Not all the pools are full, but there are many pools. Great location off the lake, great views.
180,000 for tourists, good value if spend some time there.
Restaurant, spa, additional services, towels, lockers, ...
Amiya Patanaik (31/01/2017 04:21)
Nice place to relax, view is stunning, water could be as dirty as in public pools. Water is warm not hot and has a sulphur tinge
Oleg Сampbell (07/01/2017 04:28)
This has nothing to do with hot springs. A little bit warm water from lake. Not the underground mineral water as expected. When I asked staff where is hot springs, they just laughed at me.
Could be good for someone who just want to relax in a bit warm pools.
Robert Irven (02/01/2017 04:37)
A fun little random side trip I would recommend if you are near Mt. Batur. Worth the entry fee, even if you just want to relax for an hour. Has a cool view of the crater lake. Also very family friendly.
Ed M (23/10/2016 03:51)
This is a must for the hiker or relaxer:)
There are many tour operators who arrange safe, courteous pick up/drop off transportation and guide services for a VERY reasonable cost. The resort Spa is set in a tranquil Zen ambiance, perfect after descending from a Mt. Batur sunrise trek or just a mineral hot springs bath. You'll be greeted with a fluffy towel, clean safe, hygienic changing rooms with a locker and a fruity welcome drink or tea.
The springs? Soak or shall I say bask in any of several temperatures mineral water flow into the main pools while viewing out across a stunning lake with jungled vegetated volcanic structures rising from the placid water. An occasional paddle boat or kayak may be romantically making its way.
You will want to return again, it is that kind of place.

Nice place, bigger than before (try the new and quiet upper pools!). 150.000rp (foreigners' rate) including towels, snack and welcome drink. The place is getting better month after month: New pools, New clean showers...
It's nice to be there on Sundays when it's filled with plenty of local people enjoying the facilities too; it's more quiet the other days. There are pools for kids, families and adults, gazebos where to rest, food stands, lockers...
One of the problems is that you have to get there: the road after Kintamani is uncomfortable by car and dangerous by scooter, and Kintamani itself is an unpleasant tourist trap - don't stay there, take two photos and head straight to the hot springs.
SE Liew (18/09/2016 06:18)
A long and bumpy road, over crowded pool, lukewarm hot spring water.
Not worth the journey and money.
If you have to go, do it as early as possible before the crowd arrives.
Aybike BAYRAKTAR (15/09/2016 15:18)
Not worth to waste time on the way. And the water is not really hot :)
Must See Hot Spring in Bali No. 1 – Batur Natural Hot Spring Bali Indonesia (Toya Bungkah)
Amazing lake view - Recommended to vacationers looking for a western standard
Batur Natural Hot Spring Bali, is located in the Batur Lake (the largest lake in Bali) area, at the foot of Mount Batur and could be described as one of the most commercial Hot Springs in Bali. A trip to Toya Bungkah takes about 2 hours from Kuta.
One of the reasons for it being that commercial and popular could be the saying that Batur Natural Hot Spring Bali has one of the biggest healing powers on the island of the gods.
If you plan to see Mount Batur or Batur Lake (Kintamani Area) when you are in Bali anyway, just go there and find out for yourself if the healing force is just a rumor of if it is actually the truth. The additional Trip to Batur Natural Hot Spring Bali takes you about 25-30 minutes and the trip is well worth worth it.
Batur Natural Hot Spring Bali provides you hot spring pools, which are managed by different companies, with an incredible Mount Batur, Mount Abang and Batur Lake view. It is the perfect place to take a break from everyday life as it provides all the basic amenities such as a shower, locker room, towel service, food and beverage outlet, and even a pool bar. The only thing YOU have to take care of is your swimming wear.
Batur Natural Hot Spring Bali stands for a worry-free afternoon, with cooler and cleaner air, away from the main tourist areas in the south.
Don’t forget to stop at Penelokan on the way to Toya Bungkah. This place offers you stunning views of both Batur Mountain and the lake.
Peterson Sihombing (12/09/2016 01:32)
This place will make you feel better with the beautiful scenery view and natural hotspring. The fresh and warm air is so worth it as a place to escape and definitely more than just ordinary vacation place.
Philip Higgs (28/06/2016 01:52)
We went here after climbing mtr batur. It was nice to relax in the warm waters but the place is outdated and filthy.
Mohanad Mostafa (17/06/2016 07:37)
It's really amazing place to visit the the water is really good the facilities there are good
Kanghao Yu (31/05/2016 13:21)
A great place to relax on a cool day. Not the cleanest considering what you pay but worth the experience.
moi meme (30/04/2016 03:19)
You have to pay 150.000 roupie to get access to something like turkish hammam. Very bad
SkateSpace2012 (03/12/2015 11:31)
150.000 Rp? no way! bad road to the springs.
Just go to Banyar hot springs, just 5000 Rp :)
