Highly recommended. The staff is very friendly and the villas are beautiful! If you are planning to visit Ubud, Anulekha is the place to stay. They also provide shuttle to the city center.

This hotel is fantastic, their on-site massages are legitimately good, the Mt. Batur private trek is a great value if you are traveling with a partner, and the food at their restaurant is amazing, totally worth the cost, and tremendous breakfast provided!

Very happy with my stay here
Friendly staff the manager Mr. Gusti is a five star person.
They helped us with some nice tours throughout the City.
I will definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it to my friends and family.
They need some improvement on the breakfast and infrastructure.

We stayed for two nights and never left the resort. The pool is great, the restaurant is amazing and the staff are willing to go above and beyond. They deliver room service for no extra charge. There's tea and coffee and cakes free at 4pm. Happy hour is excellent. The satay and milkshakes are super. Their western food is a bit lacking but that's to be expected. There is a small jewellery shop near the check in and they also do cooking classes and a few other activities like a bbq for an additional cost. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

The best villa that I have ever stayed. The staffs are friendly but it's too bad there is no any water filter machine in the room. So you might have to cook it yourself for drinking water. Overall it's still a good choice to stay when you come to Bali island :)

Anulekha resort gave us a relaxed and peaceful environment to stay in. The first thing we cherish in our memories about Bali trip is this resort.

We reached around late evening, and we were served with a refreshing red rice ice tea. We were pretty hungry and tired, we ordered some food and headed to bed straight away.

We stayed in a standard room. Room was spacious with a balcony facing the pool. A nice wooden stand for hanging wet clothes. Bathroom was really cool, with a big bathtub.

Next day morning, it was so refreshing to see the restaurant facing the fresh green rice fields. Balinese music played along with the wonderful sight of rice fields is just heaven. Ambience of the restaurant was so pleasant with traditional wooden tables and chairs. It was such a pleasant way to kick start the day.

Coming to the complimentary breakfast, we were expecting a wide breakfast buffet, but it was a la carte menu. We were slightly disappointed at first. We were totally wrong when the food arrived. Fruit juice, fruit custard, Balinese bubu injin(hot black rice pudding in coconut milk), pastry basket, all the items were fresh and tasty. We were full and were so happy that we didn’t waste any food, as in the case of buffet, there would be lot of food wastage. Staff are so kind and helpful in providing whatever we asked for.

Location of the resort is slightly away from Ubud market, I think that adds to the calm environment.Resort provides shuttle service at specific timings to Ubud centre.

Cozy place, good service, great ambience, delicious food. The pool and bathub is great. But minus for some security attitude.

This seclusive jewel provides the serenity and tranquility for a relaxing holiday away from any form of hustle and bustle of a city. Nature is right in front of your eyes living among farmers and artisans.

Love this place. Very secluded in paddy field area. Just needs a little facelift but all good either ways

Very cozy hotel even their pool.
Good rooms & very clean bathrooms.
Their villas are nice but they need work on them.
They have lizards problem (BIG ONES) because they don't kill them they catch them and let them go again inside the hotel so they manage to come back to the villas since it's surrounded with a lot of TREES.
Breakfast is VERY tasty.

Akshay Pawar (01/01/2017 02:53)

This hotel was amazing. It was our first time overseas. We arrived at 230am and we were shown the room and around the hotel on arrival. It was nice to be given the tour. The staff were amazing and never in your room when you were. They cleaned when we were out or at breakfast. They were very professional. Amazing food. The rooms were so clean and right at home. Can't wait to go back!

Virdian Chandranugito (03/09/2016 04:41)
Good place with a good and reasonable price.
The atmosphere is excellent; quite relaxing if your goals to ubud is for having some rest of mind and body..
You need extra attention if you aint using any navigation apps to find this place as they only put a little signage in the entrance road. Other than that, we had an excellent 1 night stay there.

Ugo Mosca (27/08/2016 07:10)
If you want the ultimate luxury experience well priced, while being at the center of many visiting spots, this is the place for you. Simply amazing facility and staff service. Recommended the restaurant although a bit pricy

My amazing girlfriend paid big money last minute to upgrade to a private villa for our 9 year anniversary to make our last 4 nights in Bali special. It was not worth it I was frustrated to find out.

Starting with the positives.
#1 Breakfast included was excellent.
#2 Food service staff were excellent.
#2 Our drivers on the last day (June 29th) really upgraded the experience and are to be highly commended for their customer service, hospitality and effort. They actually made me consider not posting this. But the amount of money she paid compared to the experience we received was too far apart. So, here we go.

Unfortunately, these were the negatives.
#1 Blue, green and white mold in the spring water holders upon arrival.
#2 Villa not thoroughly cleaned multiple times over our 4 night stay.
#3 Pool was very cold even after asking them to heat it slightly (didn't happen), which they clearly did not like.
#4 Many channels were unwatchable based on TV reception/TV quality outside.
#5 Wi-Fi was almost completely unreliable.
#6 Leather chair near the pool outside very dirty and stained. Needed to be replaced a long time ago.
#7 Lamp plug broke in room because of broken outlet.
#8 Condescending front desk agent (Our age? 23 and 27.) We were exceedingly polite even when clearly being talked down to as if we were children. As if dealing with a frustrated parent. Really not nice.
#9 Because of the fact we were under 30 and we had a private villa, we were treated with less respect than other apparently more important guests (who paid the same amount). We stopped tipping after the first day upon feeling this.
#10 Was quoted a price to the airport for 350000 rupiah 2 days prior to leaving and told to call the day of. Upon calling the day of, we were quoted 400000 because "it was last minute". Ridiculous. We argued and got the first price.

Meals, amenities available were very over priced. Certain staff members were borderline disrespectful. Not a good experience, especially when we had one of the nicest and most expensive villas. Would not even consider returning.
Every other experience in our other 3 locations in Bali was much more affordable and pleasant.
I hope they can change what they need to.

Jessie Dunmire (06/04/2016 02:11)
The location is in the middle of nowhere, but that's really how you have to experience Ubud. Our room was lovely and the AC worked fantastically. Our only complaint in the room was that we could occasionally smell sewage in the bathroom.
The food was fantastic. Our package included breakfasts and one dinner. The French toast was amazing, and I'm still dreaming about the tuna.
Their cocktails were decent but not strong and the wine is bitter.
The pool is mostly shallow, great for relaxing but not swimming.
They offer drivers, but unless you get a tour with your package you can rent a driver for less outside of the hotel.
Bring bottled water. They give you one small bottle per person per day in your room, but it is difficult to get more. They only sell soda water in the restaurant and the front desk staff was confused when we asked for more.

It was our first taste of Bali and we loved it.We had a wonderful time at Anulekha Villa and would return every year if we could. Nice spacious, clean and well furnished rooms ; very nice staff ; great pool and a epic view of rice paddies all around , every morning for breakfast. What else could you ask for?? We booked our stay several months in advance so the price was very good from our point of view. I would recomend this resort to anyone who wants a taste of paradise at a decent price :)

Was nice rooms and nice pool and spa area. Also the staff was (playing to be) helpful. The whole stay feld somehow fake: kindness of the (rather incompetent) staff, the driver services they offer and the rooms we stayed in. All not really authentic. Food in the onsite restaurant was ok but for that price compared to other restaurants in ubud center not worth the money. Breakfast was good though. They also offer several free of charge shuttle drives throughout the day. This is practical indeed, requires you however, to take a 20min walk from drop of point to ubud centre.

My husband and I booked the honeymoon package two weeks ago and were very impressed with the excellent service we received. We were pleasantly surprised to have a beautiful chocolate cake inscribed with our names presented to us on arrival. The staff went to a lot of trouble preparing the poolside dinner included in the package, spending a lot of time placing copious amounts of rose petals around the pool and on the pool deck and decorating the area with candles and floating swans. There was also a bamboo pipe duo to entertain us. We greatly enjoyed massages at the on-site spa. The resort is relaxed and tranquil and the restaurant has picturesque views of rice paddies and serves wonderful food
Perhaps the only downside for those sensitive to cigarette smoke is the lack of restriction on smoking in the restaurant and pool area.

Just outside of the city (10 minute free shuttle service is great but not that regular), tucked away amongst rice fields this resort is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The private villa with your own pool & outdoor loungeroom is spacious, staff was helpful and the included breakfast was filling. Would reccomend!
