I just love the food and juices here! Incredibly tasty and so well presented. Service is great and good atmosphere. Worth the hike to get to it. Unfortunately, they had one in Seminyak but it didn't last long. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Ubud!

Alchemy is a bit out of town but not too far. Incredible salad bar!! And coconut ice cream. I LOVE the salad bar. It's definitely a trendy expat spot. They also sell beauty and health products. I bought my organic bug spray here, just make sure they don't charge you service tax for the goods you purchase.

Beautiful restaurant with great food. The salads are fantastic! Good desserts as well. If you are looking for a place with healthy food and a good vibe this is the place! There's a little shop attached as well that has some interesting finds :)

Flavours are good, portions however are very very small, don't go hungry. The prices are also higher than usual for Ubud. I don't mind paying money if the food has good flavour, however we left hungry as the portions were tiny and we were very hungry. Would return for a snack, but not for a meal. Would recommend if you are in the area. It is out of the city centre so a bit more quiet.

a great vegan restaurant with conscious products for sale too. we really loved the cauliflower rice sushi and the smoothies. perhaps because we were in the corner near the shop no one ever came up to serve us so we had to go up to the counter each time we wanted to order something.

The food is pretty good. But the service is terrible. They took a lot to come to the table. Then I asked for a coffee and cake. The coffee came and the cake never came. I had to call again and ask. Then I went to pay and the waiters started to talk between them and didnt even say sorry when they finally addressed me.

Open space with a slightly more clinical feeling than a cosy feeling to it. Fully vegan. For drink I had the classic green with apple and mint juice. To eat the aloha pizza.
The juice is very green, but slightly to watery for my taste. The pizza however, it's a winner. Great taste! If you like pineapple on your pizza. I know it's a controversy.
Service was fast initially, but then everyone suddenly disappeared.
The chocolate "cheese" cake is outstanding! And the coffee is ok, not that acid, but also not that strong.

Creative dishes with fresh ingredients and yummy flavours. Nice place to chill. The desserts are quite good, worth a try! Coffee and juices are great. Main dish portions are quite small, if you're hungry order 2 pizzas. :)

Lovely place with friendly staff. Their raw pizza was outstanding, in fact we plan to come back and have another one. Also, fabulous PB & J smoothie, so yummy. Nice BLT raw sandwich too. The desserts were a bit plain though. Great green juice as well.

Amazing place! All raw vegan and delicious. We loved the spinach quiche and especially the cannelloni. The carrot cake was so good we went back the next day for another slice. Light and fresh decor, great service. And a health shop inside too. Highly recommended!

For vegan and organic lover
Located at Penestanan road, Ubud. This restaurant specialized in vegan menu with all organic ingredients. Nice interior and exterior...
They have many salad menu and smoothies, most of all tasted delicious, if you're not a vegan then just ask their staff to recommended for you. They have holistic treatment too.....
The price affordable and the service was good. This restaurant popular among vegan and organic lover.....
ORIENTAL HOLIDAYS (16/11/2017 05:07)

Great raw vegan hangout spot. WiFi sometimes working OK. Was very impressed with their pizza and the smoothie bowl is very filling. Service is great. Pricing average.

This place is amazing! We've been twice and loved it equally both times. The bee here now smoothie and nacho plate were standouts, and the service is great

Beautiful cafe. Breakfast yogurt bowls are tasty and large. Good coffee, great loungy spaces for a lazy morning breakfast while catching up on their wifi

Great raw vegan food. Canelonni was delicious. Definitely try the Coconut Kefir but go really easy on the serving size. We had a bit too much (a bottle each) because it was so delicious and now our guts are paying the price!
Marcus (20/08/2017 04:09)
Beware as they don't have a real kitchen, meaning a raw food restaurant. This is not stated very well until you sit there. Typical hipster restaurant with many WiFi spongers. Quality of food is okay. However, not kids friendly at all.

I have very mixed feelings about this place, I have eaten there several times and may go again but I will be very selective about what I eat. The best food on offer I think is the salad bar, a big range of choices and great quality. The mint tea is excellent, and some of the cakes. A good choice of expensive juices.
Some dishes are frankly misleading - the Aloha Pizza is listed as a main course but is a wafer thin pancake decorated with little bit of rocket and pineapple and a strange white cream. Small serving - no way is this a pizza or indeed a main course. I was ill the next day after eating this too. The "ice creams" are in fact sorbets.
Value for money - one star out of five - I pay less in Australia for better food in my home town. Was charged 240k rupiah for "pizza", orange juice, the "ice cream" and a mint tea! So for Ubud these really are very high prices.
The wi-fi is terrible - most of the time it simply doesn't work.

Food and smoothies are tasty but expensive considering Ubud standards. Got smoothies after food. Did not feel comfortable, left quickly after finishing dinner.
Meiyi Cheng (23/05/2017 09:03)
Come to the Monday meditation at Alchemy Academy, wonderful people wonderful energy. Afterward you can get a 20% off for breakfast at Alchemy! The smoothie bowl is so amazing.
Brian Kobberøe Fink (02/05/2017 06:25)
I'm happy to loose my "RAW-virginity" at the Alchemy. It has nothing to do with "original" variant of food the dishes are named after, but it's really tasty and can definitely be recommended among the many healthy foodie-places Bali has to offer.
Laura Mankel (02/05/2017 03:56)
I got food poisoning here. Something must have been wrong with the mushroom and spinach pizza. But staff is really nice and helpful. Maybe it was just a bad day!
Sonya Tawfik (22/03/2017 11:02)
Love Alchemy the salads are to die for! So fresh and big! The staff are ectreamly friendly and happy to help you.
William Applegate (16/03/2017 00:17)
Super nice restaurant, all raw except for they use a lot of honey, honey is mostly not raw and also not vegan. The dishes are also pretty small but for this type of place I guess that's what you expect :D the taste and quality of food is exceptional though and definitely one of my favourites. Be sure to check out Seeds of life & Sayuri if you're into raw food as well though :)
Samantha Weldon (09/03/2017 03:44)
Nachos were amazing. Came back a second time to try the sushi rolls. Highly recommended to anyone looking for delicious and wholesome food, smoothies, treats, or bowls.
Spaccanapoli di Ubud (11/02/2017 03:58)
Just salads are fresh and good..dessert also good..but no main dishes at all ..so left the place still angry..and quiet expensive to for local products... organic? Come on nothing organic around....i mean not just in this place but anywhere... place have nice atmosphere ..
Camilo Ruiz (06/02/2017 05:37)
This place is unbelievable, the service is gold. The menu is outstanding, lots of options. Juices are amazing.
I will come back every time I visit Bali
Neiman Catley (14/01/2017 02:17)
One of the best raw vegan spots on the planet. I would just go to the salad bar and create your own salad. The off menu salads are ok, but you have better options from the salad bar. The raw desserts are ALL GREAT!
Natasha Sparke (08/01/2017 22:26)
Number one choice if you're vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, or just love good food. Delicious, inventive menu. We ordered a pizza that had crushed semi-dried tomatoes as the base, and a burger that had vegan chipotle sauce. Left feeling stuffed.
Margaret Czeisler (08/10/2016 08:06)
Loved their amazing salad bar and menu. Raw desserts were also fantastic. We enjoyed a coffee cookie (only served with coffee). Their nut milks coconut and almond were great too. They offer a raw menu- my husband had their quiche which was fantastic. Great little shop too. Wifi was really bad. Kept going in and out. Never really fully connected.
Joel Burger (31/08/2016 02:34)
This is an all in one kind of place. They have a hotel, restaurant, a small amount of shopping, and weird alternative medicine treatments if your into that stuff. I am giving it a 3 because the food I got made me sick, but the rest of my group was fine so don't let that discourage you. Probably won't go back though.
David Rouse (30/08/2016 11:16)
Great but slightly pricey particularly the in-house shop & smoothies, and the food was quite rich- surprising comment for a vegan cafe, normally I find the opposite! Overall a must do when in Ubud though :).
Milan Hoppe (13/08/2016 02:56)
Well-presented dishes for high prices excluding service and tax charges! Don't like this kind of hidden fee policy! Won't come again!
Christa Maria (25/05/2016 04:16)
This is the best salad i ever tried. Seriously. I love the BLT Sandwich, Philadelphia Maki Nori which is vegan sushi AMAZING! , raw ice cream, raw desserts and the smoothie. EVERYTHING is homemade, healthy and VERY TASTY. The best vegan restaurant in Bali. I heard that they open branch in Seminyak area. Happy tummy!
Alex K. (24/05/2016 11:57)
Nice food but very loud and crowded
LankDogEd (15/05/2016 04:31)
Very nice food. Completely raw food only isn't for everyone though, and I found some of the dishes lacking a bit of flare. Service was lack the usual- overly friendly Balinese kind of hospitality- which I missed. Probably wouldn't bother going back. Try "Sage" if you want some seriously awesome vegan food. Also in Ubud
Amy Mcquade (31/03/2016 11:24)
The make your own salad was nice but it's a pricey place compared to some of the other vego eats in ubud. Also there are many laptop hippies and lycra loungers so depends if that's your style.
Andrew Self (29/03/2016 12:48)
Pretentious place. Limited and overpriced menu. I went for dinner with my girlfriend, and waited 25 mins for my dish while she ate. I asked, then the told me they couldn't make it because there was no more spinach. Offer enemas. I think that would be more enjoyable than eating here.
