Awesome place to stay. Book directly though and NEVER use Expedia to book anything. They totally rip you off.

Wonderful Villas. Excellent service from the friendly, smiling staff. Will definitely be coming back in the future. A little far out from central Ubud but a taxi doesn't cost much and it's so nice to come back to Alam Ubud after a long day exploring.

Alam Ubud Cultural Villas is absolutely beautiful. Luxury private villas. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is out of the town which is the trade off for staying in a tranquil jungle. They offer free shuttle services in and out of Ubud centre 3-4 times per day which was around 10 to 20 minutes depending on traffic conditions. The natural spring pool down by the river was amazing. There is alot of stairs but if you're reasonably healthy then they won't be an issue.

One of the best resort in ubud.. The staff, incredibly servicing and problem solving, from check-in to check-out, always there when you needed them. The facilities very good and clean. Highly recommended.

Hidden magical place in the jungle. Gorgeous infinity and a springwater pool. Lovely staff, you can really feel the care. Amazing environment, a tropical hideaway. Free shuttle service to Ubud centre. ♥️

Funny to read people that keep complaining about stairs, no buggy etc.
Stay in Kuta or Nusa Dua for such facilities and the problem solved.

Great scenery, but the hotel is far from city center. The service is average at best and it's a bit oldish and dirty building

Good views but badly planned walk ways. No lifts, no buggies only big stairs leading from one room on a floor to another.

Amazing place, tranquil and relaxing amongst the rainforest and riverside....very beautiful hillside setting and the holy spring water has kept a few wrinkles off! The restaurant is sooo good and priced well, making it hard to venture out for dinner. The staff are all super nice and welcoming, very friendly and fantastic service, it's even better than I imagined. Only a short drive to ubud centre where the hustle and bustle is, not far from the elephant sanctury as well as some of the better known temples...oh and really good massages too, we were lucky to have a villa with 2 bed open air spa room underneath so we could enjoy the sounds of the river and birds tweeting while having a balinese massage (a must!) We would float to our sunbed or room in a relaxed state...perfect. Suksma Alam Ubud!

Love the environment, amazing waterfall just in front of my room, natural music accompany me to make me fall as sleep. Friendly staff, trying their best to serve you. But, maybe it's time to upkeeps the room ceiling, paint is a must! Will definitely introduce to my friends.

Amazing!! This place is like a sanctuary, right at the edge of a forest, incredible staff and what not. It's like an oasis for serenity seekers. And yes, food does need improvement. However, it's an incredible place for stay.

Very nice people, great great environment - inside the jungle - and beautiful villas..! However, restaurant food needs serious improvement...

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. It was an amazing experience. The staff are so friendly and always smiling. They take the time to know the guests by name. The rooms are large and nestled right in the jungle. The food at the hotel was very flavourful and tasty. We did a private yoga practice daily by the river with a friendly and helpful instructor. If you're wanting a nice place to relax this resort is it. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the town and so quiet and peaceful. I don't have any bad comments about this hotel. We were very happy about our choice staying here!!

Really nice hotel to stay near Ubud. A bit overexpensive for the area.

Most peaceful place we've visited. On arrival we were upgraded to Villa Kunti with our own pool and massage area, which was absolutely beautiful. We arrived not feeling well and this peaceful setting, with a view of the rainforest and sounds of the birds and monkeys helped us to heal quickly.
Recommend taking the free bikes for a ride in the morning around the beautiful rice paddies, and village where we got to see the morning rituals of the local people.
We stayed for two nights before going on to see Tanah Lot temple and hitting the busier Seminyak. We loved all of our 6 days but am especially grateful to have spent some time in this peaceful part of Bali.

I stayed here for 4days.
There are nice view and quit good breakfast.
Around the hotel view is really nice.
But very far from ubud center and hotel shuttle bus three times a day.
I stayed Durupadi 1
That room is very near the main lobby.
There are many ants in the room.

Stayed here with my daughter in 2015, September. We LOVED it. The room was wonderful, tucked into the jungle. The grounds were beautiful and peaceful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I have no hesitancy in recommending this place.

Great place and good food, nice staff, different choices of accommodations. Definitely can recommend.
Is not 24h7 for service.

Amazing location in the middle of the jungle. Privat pools are quite cold (end of may). The common infinity pool is nice though. Very quite. Mostly couples, only few children. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are high standard, clean, spacious and comfy. Private villa means private - I didn't notice there is another one next to it. Great get-away place.
