Though personally I like its sister, 9 Warung more, 9 Angels still got a similar artistry vibe all around. The honesty and self service concept also runs in this place, but they have art performances or art agenda quite often. The staff were also super nice. Really a good alternative if you want to eat affordably in Ubud or if you crave for vegan or vegetarian foods.

Great place for a break time, we went there few times and it's lovely! It's a buffet and you have plenty of fresh and healthy food. Everything turns around good karma! Nice live music and chilling atmosphere surrounding by nature!

Best place to eat in Bali. Peaceful atmosphere. Payment is a donation. Live music. Tasty vegetarian food.

My favourite place in Ubud. It was best to go there for open mic night, so amazing musicians from all around the globe.

We walked this small path. It was dark hearing live music at the end of that path. And all of a sudden we entered this magical place. So many small details. There was so much beautiful effort put in everything.
What a beautiful concept. Eat from the buffet and pay as much as you like/ think the food was worth. Food is so healthy and freshly prepared and good.
Thank you

Nice place, nice food and nice concept. I love how they decorate everything and the way they let people take their own food, and clean their own plates.
The price of the food isn't too expensive too.
No wonder a lot of my friend sometimes just wanna go to Ubud to eat here.

I am in love with this place. Amazing food, amazing chill an relaxed atmosphere. Some days they have live music an open mic nights. You pay what you think is right for the food. Only minus point is that they close an 10pm.

Wonderful community space and concept. Delicious food and cozy ambiance to chill out for the afternoon. Don't miss the pumpkin and the vegan banana chocolate bread!!

It's a cool concept to have an open vegan (not sure about the cakes I saw) buffet and let the patrons pay themselves, according to how much they take. They also have occasional live performances, definitely attracting a hippie kind of crowd. Food can be good, but some of them can be sitting in semi hot conditions for a long time. But it's vegetables.

This is a little hidden gem - a community cafe where you serve yourself from their vegetarian Indonesian style buffet. You pay by the serving putting your money in a jar, and clean your own dishes, nice place to chill and meet people, open mic Tuesdays. The food is delicious and so cheap, eat for 30,000 and eat well. No wifi! Open mic on a Tuesday evening. Friendly place, lovely people.
Also tea and coffee and kombucha.

Nice and relaxed place to come, hang out and eat.
I really liked the self serve concept. You pay per spoon, summing up everything you take, putting the total in a jar on the table. As it depends on the honesty of the people going there, I hope no one will take advantage of it.
Other than the whole place and concept I didn't really like the food. It wasn't really warm and also not to tasty.

Awesome place with an awesome atmosphere. Even as an non-vegetarian I fully enjoyed the food. The concept is amazing, we have to be thankful that places like this exist.

Absolutely amazing a place like this exists! Full self-service (from putting it on your plate, to putting money in a pot & cleaning the dishes). Relying on honesty of the customer. Very cheap and the (vegetarian) food is good (definitely for that price!). Great atmosphere and easy to meet people. They have another place in the south called 'Warung 9' which is similar, although I prefer this one because there's a bit more happening

One on my favorite places in Ubud, good vegeterian food, amazing idea working with domations, feels so welcome there. Tony the owner is one of the best guys I know.

Funtastic place with great ideas and creative people. Grab a plate, choose and pick any food you like, serve yourself, enjoy your food, wash your dish, count your own bill and put the money in the jar on the table. They have a space if you want to perform or share your knowledge in anything with others.

This is an amazing, relaxed place to come, hang out and eat. It is a self serve concept where you pay by the spoon, adding up the total at the end and putting your money in s jar on the table. The food is incredible!! So flavoursome and made with so much love! All the staff are really friendly and the fact there are just big tables to sit around means you get to meet and speak with different people. I love this place!!!

Best place to hang out here, eating with friends, meeting with new people. Everyone seems sharing positive energy here.

toni provides a great place to eat – full of love, arts and little details. there's a vegetarian buffet with tofu, tempeh, soup, rice, vegetables, salads, fruits, tea, coffe – all you need. just put the money for your meal in the box on the tables. and hug toni :-)

Homey-cooking with home ambience. Enough choice of vegetarian dish. Self-serve, not an option if you seek to be serviced and all fancy.

Fantastic food and I love the payment setup! Such a good feeling place to support. The decor and atmosphere here is also great! All vegan food.

Amazing!! Vegetarian serve-yourself buffet, donation based so you can pay what you want but there are suggested donation prices for each item. Clean up after yourself too. I ate here several times when I was in Ubud. Owner is super friendly too!!!

A hidden gem! Food is great here and you can pack various types on your plate. Payment is donation based, 30K is recommended at least which is practically nothing for it. Great place to chill, eat or read a book.
Nate Maingard (11/08/2016 04:51)
YES PLEASE! Food by donation, deliciously prepared. Best to go early to get the fresh buffet offerings. Great community vibes, happy people, musical instruments. Something unique and magical about this place
