Ok, I go here with my friend at 10. Hungry and tired. Then we visit and eat. Warm and delicious. Believe me, it's give our power back. The plaza is cozy, clean, and perfect place to eat while watching Surabaya's street. Worth to visit.

It was a great taste experience to eat rawon + sinom drink. The place was full and you should have a little patience to ask for sambal/ condiments. Another reason why this is called rawon setan, maybe because of their prices

This place opens at night only. The place is very busy with almost no seat available when we were there. The serving of the food is very fast yet for the beverage sometimes you have to ask twice. The price is quite on the upper side for street food but the amount of the meat in the dish make it quite justified. Overall, a nice food and ambience

The infamous rawon (black beef soup) from Surabaya. Was opened 20yrs ago and still continue. They are 24hrs now. Must remind you that the sambal is SPICY, and the side dishes is expensive, but worth the price and worth the gym exercise after that.

My wife recommended this place to me so when we had a chance to go to surabaya couple days ago, I decided to give it a try. I must say that the rawon tasted wonderful. They have a huge slice of meat and it drowned perfectly in the whole composition. They also provided other things such as lungs and salted egg to complete its unique taste. It was really worth the price. You really need to try this one if you go to Surabaya.

To my palate, this place tastes just ike the usual rawon I normally have. Maybe the fast service and the downtown location make this place super famous.

It said that this rawon soup is the best served in Surabaya. But i had no comparison as i am not a rawon fanatic. However its chunk is relatively big, thus it bring a satisfactory sensation when you bite it. The sambal is neither spicy nor hot, since i am a fanatic of it. It also accompanied with tempe bacem and salted egg, that i dont really know how it can be matched with that black rawon soup. All of that confusion, this rawon stall are worth to try, then formulate your own oppinion.

This sucks. The rawon is very very very ordinary than the other rawon. Not too spicy at all. My expectation is high, higher than the reality served here. Everything in here is very expensive, and measure that with no so very comfy place. Its terrible. Its good for you to taste it once in a lifetime, then dont go in here any more.

Nasi rawon pisah 38rb, pretty reasonable for a rawon this delicious. There is a toilet here but very dirty. No AC. Famous for tourists and locals alike.

The best beef broth soup in Surabaya, an iconic culinary place in town. Clean, affordable price and located in center of Surabaya are credit points for Rawon Setan. You must try this !

Potongan daging rawon nya besar-besar dan nggak hancur. Tapi ini masalah selera, karena ane lebih suka potongan daging kecil-kecil.
Satu nilai tambah: setelah pesan makan, ane ada keperluan keluar. Jadi istri makan sendiri dulu, padahal pesanan sudah disiapkan untuk 2 porsi.
Waktu kembali dan siap duduk, makanan ane diambil, trus diganti dengan yang baru. "Diganti yang masih hangat," kata yang melayani.

Too damn expensive, but it worthed to buy because sooo tasty. Black meat soup with so called brand: rawon setan or The Devil Rawon. The reason isn't because it has a spicy chili sauce, but the opening hours from evening until late night. Just try and compare it with another rawon options in town!

If you want to experience local east java cuisine then you have to try and visit it! Very good taste of Rawon, it's a kind of beef soup. The beef was so tendered. Perfectly good taste !

Rawon is the special menu in here. The place and the menu is so popular too.
But, the service isn't good enough based on the price of the food which is little bit expensive.
Difficult to find some park for your ride when you go here with a car.

One of the best place to eat Rawon, an Indonesian delicacy. It used to only open at night, but now I think they open for 24 hours. If you go to Surabaya, you have to try this one. The place is not that big, and definitely not an upscale restaurant. But people go here for the food and go, not for the atmosphere or to hang.
