it is a historical and herritage building. some of our independence day story are from here, the preparation of round table meetting are held here. nowdays it become museum, in weekend there are a free tour, called ponish tour held by the timah company go around the city visiting the historisal and herritage spot and building, you will listening the story of pangkalpinang.

Not a big museum and a few collections. But it presents some basic knowledge about Bangka island and tin mining history here. The entrance is free of charge. There's another bigger Tin Museum in Muntok.

When you visit bangka island, you must visit this museum once. The place is neat and the guide is friendly. I hope they add more display about tin.

As the name implies, this museum is about history of tin metal in Indonesia. Why in Bangka Island? Well it's because here is the biggest tin producer in Indonesia. The condition of the museum it self is good, but i think there's a need to push more of it's publication. I feel that there's too little visitor here.

Neat little museum,some interesting stuff on mining. Will take about 30 minutes to see it all but it's cheap.

This museum is easy to find as it is located in the center of Pangkalpinang city. Its space is quite small for a museum. Surprisingly, it has a complete information regarding tin mining. And it is free of charge!!!
We will be able to see the map of tin mining in Bangka island, Indonesia, also the mining tools, many tin samples and the miniatures of mining activities. There is also a big picture of mining history in the last room.
If you have enough time to spend in Pangkalpinang city, this museum is recommended to visit!

It is a Small museum with tin as a theme in Belitung. There is a working workshop producing pewter for souvenirs.
